You know if there was already "next" Bitcoin, it could already had took over before we eve get a chance to discuss it in here in the forum. People claim that ETH is the next Bitcoin just because it is 1 rank below of Bitcoin, but they don't know that both function differently.

~ Do you worry that your assets on centralized exchanges will suddenly disappear?
Well this is why I don't tend to hold my funds in any sort of exchange unless I am actually and actively trading. I rather pay the fees rather than whole of my funds. mindrust also mentioned already that pretty much the Mt. Gox incident made everyone aware of how much danger their funds could be when held in an exchange.

Feels like an NFTs are the hunts now these days, but I wouldn't join the hype train, sorry. I'll just stick my money for now in Bitcoin and the strategy is for sure and of course, long-term hodling. ~
Geez, this game gets hyped a lot. Is it only in the PH or even other countries are leaning to Axie?

If you abandon your account, but remember your password, there is no time limit... you can come back whenever you feel like it.
~
Adding up to this, if the user abandons his/er account for more than 180 days and logs in again, a message "This user recently woke up from a long period of inactivity." will appear on the account's trust page. You're considered to have woken up if your last login time is 180+ days ago, and the message remains for 30 days.

Welp and good thing he's a former one, cause I ain't gonna be part of his copy-pasta craps.

....plagiarism is an offence.....
To be honest, it does not happen only here in the forum. Not sure about other schools around the world but here in my country, they don't teach that like thoroughly. I remember back in my high school days when one of my former friends just decided to speedrun their essays by copy-pasting from random articles online and they just tend to get away with it. Oh and yeah, he got A for that. Freaking A from a work with no effort. I was naive that time that is why I can't talk about it.

You are mentioning Axie, right? That game gets hyped up a lot here in my country just because its price skyrocketed. USD to our local currency here is insane that is why it is getting reported....like a lot. Many are even applying for scholarships.

Well because a lot of people are aware already that shitcoins are almost everywhere, the emotion can't be held off. Sometimes it is rational, sometimes it is emotional. One might sell because they think that they invested in a shitcoin, therefore should get the f out of that coin they bought because it would be of no value within few days.

Last but not least, we cannot ignore the tech. The crypto space is a revolutionary digital world, here there are a lot of doors and opportunities you just need to possess the right skills to unlock it. You can become a product developer, designer, coder( building smart contracts), website designer e.t.c. All blockchain companies require all these skilled personnels so improve and develop yourself in any of these if you want such a future in a crypto firm. Even here in the forum we have the service board for people who possess such skill set.
You can be whoever you want to be in the crypto space! Here the opportunities are limitless you just have to find your niche.
Well surely I am not up for the day trading since it just does not fit my schedule. Blockchain programming kind of interests me lately as I move forward into learning more languages. I was learning object-oriented programming lately, when BC programming just pop off my Youtube recommendation/s.

I'll call the 40k right now as of writing this. It could be too sudden from what how I checked the price like 12 hours ago, as it was still around 34k-ish before. I am not kind of expecting it just yet to get back to our last ATH, but who knows.

It's unpredictable to the point that pump and dump schemes become the trend for the obvious wrong reasons. I can even recall coins that took advantage of Coronavirus and that coin just faded into obscurity and then new trends like NFTs became a thing in my feed in Facebook.

Though that's right, I am thinking of if investors do even look at the signatures of those who promote certain project in here. Imagine the gazillion amount of projects that have their own signature being promoted here. I am curious to a certain investor that looks into those though.

tldr, just don't FOMO or panic. Get used to people looking for easy money in crypto and they won't care regardless of what type of coin/token it is. They are not into technical stuffs. I am talking about those people that does not have a single experience holding anything inside crypto.

There are just those people leaned to the price too much. How about leaning a little bit about the convenience and utility it can provide? Oh by the way, there is only one Bitcoin, OP.

Not fan of tribes though. From the definition of it from Merriam Webster, "a social group composed chiefly of numerous families, clans, or generations having a shared ancestry and language". We're all Bitcoiners here, and from how you defined tribe there, it is pretty much looking like each and everyone's respective local boards which is already implemented here.

Well scammers are entirely a different discussion. If a certain user is a scammer, they don't deserve any place or a name in here. They will get tagged along with their alt. You can have an alt for multiple purposes. I'll quote one reply I remember from DdmrDdmr in B&H that pretty much sums it up for good reasons to have alts. Alt accounts can be created for numerous purposes, not necessarily related to anything wrongful, such as (but not limited to):
- Separating a bounty account from a discussion account. - Separating a business account from a discussion account. - Distinguishing between when one is fully focused in their posting, from when one is posting on the move. - Separating the main account from other accounts related to building services around the forum (i.e. scrapers, legit bots, etc.). - Shielding behind a new account to express opinions or report on accounts, while not wanting this to be linked to the main account. - One can have multiple accounts to enrol in different campaigns, providing the rules are met and the ethics clean and square (as I mentioned previously).
I’ve got a couple Alts I recall: One to scrape information from the forum, and another to block the name from being used by anybody else (both with 0 post).
I edited my first reply to the OP, since I don't think that's the answer s/he is looking for.

If one has good reasons, they can ask theymos. I don't think he accepts any username changes lately. Forum does not accept more donations, so VIP donation is out of the option. Q: I want to change my forum username. What should I do? A: You can either donate 50 BTC to become a VIP or PM theymos asking to change your username (although he rarely accepts such requests nowadays).
Our local board mod, Mr. Big, is a VIP that is why you can his name changed.

I steer clear of Twitter when it comes to crypto discussions. There are a lot of people there just claiming that they know a lot about crypto but are just purely spreading BS. I usually only read there when there are dramas happening. I cannot say the same for Reddit, because when it comes to crypto news I just usually read here instead on Reddit. Why look for a dedicated subreddit when there is an existing website/forum that is entirely focused on Bitcoin? ~ You will only find bitcoin trending on twitter when there is big pump in the market. ~
Same goes in Facebook. Though I would say it is far more worse there especially in those pages dedicated for crypto news due to these: I know it is ETH, but the news was about Bitcoin and I just stumbled upon that comment. I covered the name of the fake page comment to avoid others being misled.

I guess that explains it why they're lesser in stakes, plus it is less likely to get noticed in those social media platforms unless managers would tend to check if their followers are crypto hodlers as well. A person owning an FB/Twitter account with non-crypto hodlers wouldn't budge to convince them to invest in such technical stuffs.

Well soon? It could be too early to tell. Enjoy the rebound to 33k while you still can, but I am just gonna keep my BTC held for now. We should already be happy that we manage to get past 60k last time as our ATH. We can only hope for another break to it.
