Cloudbet - "While we have some players routinely betting as high as 50 BTC on handicaps..."

This got my attention.
You're routinely taking 50 btc bets on which sports?

Our highest limits are on European football (EPL, La Liga, UEFA Champions League), NBA, and NFL.

Thank you , it seems cloudbet is good news then. Especially the fact that they let the player withdraw  without affecting the bonus is really nice.

But one thing I have to criticize is the amount how loyalty points are earned. Its the most complicated thing I ever saw. And how they exchange into BTC is also questionable. Who came up with it and thought it a good idea.

Why not just make it x wagered  1 or 10 loyalty points and redeem for 0.01 BTC. Since 800 redeem for 0.01 BTC I dont see why it couldnt be 1 or 10. What do I need 800 for?

Otherwise everything seems good. I will make a deposit after tonight games.

Btw still nothing from betcoin if you can believe that.

Hi Bismarckbkk,

The bonus formula we use is indeed quite complicated - and designed by us - but it's done this way for several reasons.

1. It's one unified bonus across all products (sports, casino, live dealer casino) so it can be cleared by wagering in any of the verticals.

2. The sportsbook loyalty points formula means that you earn loyalty points for ALL sports bets that you make, even if the price is very low. Most other books have a condition that the wagering requirement can only be met by placing bets priced 1.5 or over. We have no such requirement - even if you're betting the heaviest favourite in sports betting history at 1.0000001, you will earn loyalty points for it. Not many, but you will earn some Smiley

3. The 800 points per 0.01 BTC gives us a lot of flexibility to adjust how quickly the player earns their bonus. We could, for example, run a happy hour promotion during when you receive double points.

4. If the bonus cleared at simply 10 points per 0.01 BTC, we would end up with a LOT of decimal places. While we have some players routinely betting as high as 50 BTC on handicaps, we also have a lot of players betting pennies on slots so we thought a higher quotient would be easier to use. We wanted to reward all players, not just our biggest ones.

5. We need to be mindful of bonus abuse, as a) we process withdrawals automatically, and b) our KYC requirements are less stringent than a fiat currency operator, which means we have fewer tools to prevent multi-accounting. We still do have controls in place that work well, but we needed to make sure our early bonus offering was safe for us and sustainable in the long term.

6. It is also possible that in the future we will give players the ability to spend their accumulated loyalty points in some way.

The bonus program will evolve as we progress. If you had any ideas or feedback, we'd love to hear it.

Cheers,
Cloudbet

What are the withdraw restriction as long as the bonus is running? Say I deposit 5 bitcoin to take full advantage of the bonus. Would you allow me to withdraw 3 Bitcoin and leave 2 ? I do sportsbetting and normally do not bet more then 2 BTC a day. SO I would waste 3 Bitcoin lying around for nothing.

Hi Bismarckbkk,

There are no withdrawal restrictions while the bonus is running. You can withdraw at any time without affecting your bonus.

Peeps place, can you explain cloudbet rating? They odds look good all the time and they do offer a dep bonus but im afraid to deposit any significant amount there after trying a B rated book.

Are their withdrawal issues you know of?

Hi Bismarcbkk,

We process all withdrawals automatically and immediately, with the exception of very large withdrawals, which are processed within 24 hours (usually much sooner). All deposits go directly into cold storage.

Please let us know if you have any questions and we'll be happy to answer them directly.

Cheers,
Cloudbet

What is the defintion of " large " ? Is the deposit Bonus credited directly or credited as it clears?

Hi Bismarckbkk,

The bonus is credited to a separate "bonus" account. As you make wagers, you will earn loyalty points. Each 800 loyalty points you earn will release 0.01 BTC of bonus to your main account, at which point you can bet or withdraw with it as you please. So - you must playthrough before you receive the bonus.

As for what a "large" withdrawal is, this changes depending on our bitcoin holdings and we can't identify specifically what it is, in order to prevent abuse. If you can indicate what size withdrawals you are making, I can tell you if they would be processed instantly or require manual approval. Or, you could simply give it a spin yourself. Comfortably over 95% of our withdrawals are processed automatically.

Cheers,
Cloudbet

Sadly my support request was not resolved as I got a simple "All of your deposits have been credited. Please let us know if there is anything else we can help with." which is unacceptable as I provided transaction ID's which clearly haven't been investigated.

I have reopened the ticket with a screenshot of my Cloudbet transactions which only shows one deposit and links to the two transactions from and to the same addresses on blockchain.info

Clearly two deposits were made and accepted into the blockchain with a bucketload of confirmations but only one was credited - I am very disappointed that my support ticket was closed without resolving the issue and without even checking the transactions I provided.

A wait is understandable but closing tickets without looking over the facts is unacceptable.

Hi AndersAA,

We cycle bitcoin wallet addresses for deposits after each deposit has been made, so each address is only used once.

In your case, the deposit address had been used multiple times - including prior to these two deposits - so our support staff saw that multiple deposits were credited as a result of transfers to that address, all in identical amounts.

If you could send funds to the address you see listed on your account page, this would help avoid these types of issues in the future.

In any case, your deposit has now been credited.

Cheers,

I am a professional sports bettor and just made a written and video review of Cloudbet. Not much news if you are already using them but I hope it will be useful for n00bs. Feedback welcome

Range of casino games 10/10

Customer service & transactions 10/10? I wrote them a support email due to a double transaction where only one was credited 7 hours ago and no reply so far.. *SIGH*

Hi AndersAA,

At time of writing this, we have no outstanding support requests so I expect that your issue was resolved. We are currently aiming to resolve all support issues within 24 hours, but hope to do so more quickly as we expand our team.

Parlays (live) still not graded after a hour..

Hi Kyraishi,

All of our bets - including live - are graded automatically. Some markets - especially live markets - can take longer than others, as we need to wait for reliable data from third party data providers.

You needn't contact us for an ungraded bet, as all are completely automated.

It isn't - it's a 3D slot game. It's pretty good fun though!

Dear Peeps Place,

As Anonibet we will not enter into any discussion with other bookies trying to discredit us. We have very seldom posted on your thread because it should be a rating thread by players for players. We have only answered once or twice questions here, we will not praise Anonibet here neither we will attack other bookies and discredit them.

At the end of the day, Bitcoin customers are very experienced consumers and they know where to place their bet, they know who to trust or not.

We will only post on this thread if some questions are directly asked to us.

Keep on the good job!

On behalf of Anonibet.com, your trusted Bitcoin Sportsbook and Casino since 2011!

Michael

To the wonderful folks at Anonibet and Peeps Place,

This is very well phrased. We completely agree. Peeps Place's ratings should be by the players, for the players. All of us operators should be held accountable to the community, and we should strive to continuously improve our product offering and level of service.

We won't clutter the thread arguing over our ratings - just please let us know if there if anyone has any questions, comments, concerns, feedback, or suggestions for Cloudbet. Otherwise, keep up the superb work!

Cheers,
Cloudbet

PS: Anonibet, we love your work. Let's have a beer soon.

Don't know what you're smoking buddy but this book has probably the worst LIVE and PREGAME odds of the BTC sportsbook world! But you probably just like the nice interface and ease...oh the entrapment.

slots are too tight.  at least before betcoincasino 'adjusted' their ones you win.

Also the bonus and loyalty plan doesn't add up, nor will you ever get to see any of these so called bonuses.

Hi bobcaticus,

What do you mean our slots are "too tight"? Do you mean "tiiiiiight slots, bro" meaning they are awesome, or that our RTP is too low? We're running some games as high as 99.71%.

Cheers,
Cloudbet
