Yeah,

There is no hope here. CloudBet will not see any more business from myself. I urge you all to reconsider playing there as well.

Hi firecasey,

All of your funds are accounted for - no funds at all are missing from your account. All bets have been paid in full and every bet you made has a corresponding result. We sent you a full bet history by email.

Cloudbet
1802  Economy / Gambling / Re: Does online CASINOS have as good payout as live? on: October 14, 2014, 12:46:28 PM
Anyone can clue us in on this?  Maybe a software developer?  Shouldn't online casinos have BETTER payouts than live, because there is less maintenance, a lot faster, and ease of access?

A large number of our games at Cloudbet.com have a higher payout rate than live casinos. Our highest payout game - Super 7 Blackjack - pays out 99.71%. Check us out!

1803  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Cloudbet Scam - This Could happen to ANY cloudbet player on: October 14, 2014, 12:11:42 PM

Hi Cloudbet, yes it is. I actually did contact the support but got no reply ever, and never bothered to contact again, as I could log in the other way. I never knew if it was the IP which was banned or my account was banned. But, I really think you have no right to confiscate funds just because people create duplicate accounts. If you are so worried about people taking advantage of the bonus system, then you should take it out.

Please contact our support and we will have your IP block removed. You can move all funds to one account and we can close the other.

OP has knowingly and deliberately committed fraud. Also, his/her account balance is less than 0.1 BTC, not 13 BTC as they claim. We will post a report shortly.

1804  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Cloudbet Scam - This Could happen to ANY cloudbet player on: October 14, 2014, 11:21:40 AM
Cloudbet is a great site, but having multiple accounts(if this is the case) should not entitle cloudbet to keep the entire funds of the user. The only abuse that can result from the multiple accounts is the use of points to get some rakeback, for which you have to gamble like 5-6 BTC to get 0.01-0.02 back. Once the 750 points are reached you get rakeback only once, and thats it. This is the reason users play through multiple accounts. If Cloudbet doesn't like it, they should simply return the funds and ban the user from playing further, and not seize the funds.

I had a similar issue once . I wasn't aware I can't create duplicate accounts. I had forgotten details to my original account, and created a new one. I created a new one and played without any issues. I took a break for a week, and next time I logged in it was fine, but as soon as I deposited around 0.5 Bitcoins to the site , and tried logging in the next day , I couldn't.
It seemed they had banned my account and had taken my funds. I found a trick to log in, and was able to withdraw my funds. I still can't log in straight and have to do it to be able to log in and play.

Hi caga,

We did not ban you for multi-accounting, nor did we confiscate any funds. It is possible that you were IP blocked for too many failed login attempts, which is a security feature we use to prevent unauthorized access to your account. Is your workaround using the password reset function? If so, contact our support with your IP address and we will have it unblocked.

Cheers,
Cloudbet
1805  Economy / Gambling / Re: Cloudbet.com - NEW MOBILE SPORTSBOOK | bitcoin sportsbook and casino on: October 14, 2014, 11:11:11 AM
Hi firecasey,

Firstly, thanks for your patience.

We have conducted a full investigation, and reviewed all logs of all hands played and found no errors. All hands were properly completed, and all winnings were properly paid to your Cloudbet account. We also did not find any hands the way you were describing.

If you had any difficulty accessing Cloudbet.com, that would not have affected your live dealer play as you would have been able to complete the hand. We also conduct an automated audit with the live dealer casino platform every 60 seconds so that every bet is properly resulted, so even if we do not immediately receive a result from from the live dealer platform or our game account servers are offline, it is resulted very shortly thereafter.

We have also sent you via email a full history of all hands you played during that period.

We hope this closes the matter. Please let us know by email if there is anything else we can help with or if you have any questions.

Cheers,
Cloudbet

Hi all,

We politely request that you please be patient as when dealing with fraud we need to make sure we fully understand all of the components of all relevant accounts.

We are very close to a conclusion on the OP's claims and will update all associated players shortly. We will also post a short summary of the events that occurred here in the forums.

I have to change my position on CloudBet for the time being. I previously wrote a good review on here, however, I am not happy with an incident that occurred yesterday. I am a fairly large player, having moved approx 150+ BTC's through CloudBet over the last week or two. Most of my play is on the live blackjack tables; where i play around 2-5 BTC per hand.

Yesterday, I had a 5 BTC hand playing when suddenly the server went down. The servers went down for approximately 20 minutes, with an Error 540...redirecting to CloudFlare landing page. During this time; I had a soft 13 against a dealer 10. This was an obvious hit situation, however, I was unable to do anything with the hand. Since the live video gaming is outsourced presumably via an API connection, the 'live game' view my inaction as a stay, and once I was finally able to return to the game (20 minutes later), I ofcourse lost.

I contacted CloudBet who gave the typical 'We will look into it'. The prudent thing to do would be to simply forfeit the hand and return my bet. The issue wit h the servers was on their end, not mine - as the error 540 / cloudflare error page indicates. I have yet to hear from CloudBet and / or see the return of my bet. I will keep you all posted. Until then, I will no longer be playing on CloudBet and urge you all to consider carefully.

Thanks for sharing your experience . There is also a scam accusation thread going on with other issues on Cloudbet.

I was also a victim to an error from Cloudbet and was not refunded for it. But now it seems a lot of people are having issues.

I will be taking my action elsewhere. They responded to my inquiry with the typical 'we do not see the hand in question in your play log'. Which makes sense...SINCE THE SERVERS WENT DOWN. I asked if they kept video recordings or chat logs with the live dealers, as I told the dealer, who then called the supervisor, that I was unable to hit the hand. Ofcourse the dealer told me to submit a support ticket, which i did....and here we are. 10 BTC down the drain and no response from CloudBet. Until CloudBet makes this right and forfeits the hands of 10 BTC (iam not asking for a win, just a forfeit, even though the next card dealt was an 8 which would have gave me 21) I will no longer provide action for them. I also urge all of you to reconsider your play there as well.

Hi firecasey,

As stated in our communications with you, we are continuing to look into this issue. We retain records of all bets placed and hands dealt, however unfortunately as the situation you described does not exactly match any hands in your bet history we cannot simply void the bet.

We will be back in touch shortly via email once we have investigated further.

Cheers,
Cloudbet

Your servers 'went down', the API to the live dealer table did not. I was unable to finish my hand and lost. I complained to the supervisor immediately. This should all be seen in the Chat logs / video recordings. You guys will quickly void a hand in the event of a 'dealer error' but not when your servers crap out? "Oh look, he cant finish the hand....lets just pretend he stayed and watch him lose". Then claim we cant find any record of it in the 'logs'. Right...

Hi firecasey,

Please bare with us. As we have said, we need to liaise with third party vendors so we need some time to investigate.

We keep logs and video recordings of all live dealer hands played.

We will update you when we have more information.

Cheers,
Cloudbet

Hi cloudbet,

Just one question, sometimes some matches disappear (later they come back), why it happens so?

Hi aguanyardiners,

This could happen for a number of reasons, however the most common will be that odds are being updated.

If you contact support@cloudbet.com with a specific example next time this occurs for a match you wish to bet on we will be happy to look into it for you.

Hi all,

Over the weekend we have been patching our servers to protect our systems from the recently discovered "Shell Shock" bash exploit.

A few hours ago, we began patching our payments systems. This has been deployed successfully and all our systems are back to normal.

The impact on users was that for a few hours on Sunday night, deposits were not processed immediately. These deposits will now be processed automatically. If you made a deposit in the past few hours that wasn't instantly credited to your account it will be credited in the next few minutes without any action.

We have made a primary commitment to user and system security and felt it important to implement these patches without delay. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Cheers,
Cloudbet
