I guess when someone is doing 6Ghash/s, it doesn't really matter...

yeh thats about right, although it impacts on us all

this first come first serve system on coin-e is a right pain in the arse

6Ghs is pretty normal with superior performance of cudaminer. Christian has himself over 1Ghs. Even I could push over 2Ghs to the network with bunch of my old nVidia cards.
1862  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] cudaMiner - a new litecoin mining application [Windows/Linux] on: February 07, 2014, 03:10:10 PM
If it is a dream then I don't even want to wake up  Grin

One month worths of scrypt mining with my 10Mhs rigs is equally one day with Maxcoin only with 5 GTX cards.

All thanks to Christian.

Hey Christian how about we make your birthday party in Ibiza ?  Grin
1863  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] cudaMiner - a new litecoin mining application [Windows/Linux] on: February 07, 2014, 12:17:26 PM
I have cudaminer Windows binaries, working on http://max.1gh.com !

This is waaaay faster than CPU mining!

Willing to sell for only 0.1 BTC or 30 XPM. Please PM me if interested.

You compiled others people code and you charged for that? That's stealing.
1864  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] cudaMiner - a new litecoin mining application [Windows/Linux] on: February 07, 2014, 12:00:04 PM
Finally I was able to send 1Ghs to 1gh pool  Grin
Let's see how many Maxcoin I could get
1865  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] cudaMiner - a new litecoin mining application [Windows/Linux] on: February 07, 2014, 11:55:54 AM
is it too late to solomine? i havent gotten anything yet @ 80,000 khash/s
Mined all night at ~68 Mhash, no block. So yes, it might be too late.

Statistically speaking, ypool currently finds 214 blocks/h at 182.000 Mhash/h, so at 80 Mhash/h you should find one block every ~11h if your luck is perfectly average.

Correct math here !  Then variance can be a bitch !
Don't think so... got 2 during the night, 3 this morning and a last (rejected) a few minutes ago...

Then you are super lucky. I was solomining with 500Mhs last night with diff around 500. Found only one block the whole night and it is orphan. With this diff right now you can forget about solo mining.
1866  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] cudaMiner - a new litecoin mining application [Windows/Linux] on: February 07, 2014, 10:24:58 AM
Code:
if (opt_algo != ALGO_KECCAK) // CB: fix for
sha256d(merkle_root, sctx->job.coinbase, (int)sctx->job.coinbase_size);
else
SHA256((unsigned char*)sctx->job.coinbase, sctx->job.coinbase_size, (unsigned char*)merkle_root);

1>cpu-miner.c(748): error C3861: 'SHA256': identifier not found

Same here.
1867  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] cudaMiner - a new litecoin mining application [Windows/Linux] on: February 07, 2014, 09:51:03 AM
are there any pools besides that 1gh scam that are up?

ypool. But still no stratum pool available.
1868  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] cudaMiner - a new litecoin mining application [Windows/Linux] on: February 07, 2014, 09:45:05 AM
Tell it is not real. It is madness  Grin
I'm going to sleep a few hours and when I wake up, 7 BTCs is in my account. And the price is likely 4-times the price I order to sell last few hours.

That means I could make around 30BTCs in just one night Huh??

Man it is crazy. We make you a big birthday party Christian. All thanks to you.
1869  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] cudaMiner - a new litecoin mining application [Windows/Linux] on: February 07, 2014, 02:17:00 AM
anypools working with cudaminer?

the max1gh pool fixed the cpuminrer code for maxcoin (forked it). Likely I have to apply the same fixes to cudaminer to make it work in stratum pools for maxcoin. Meh.

That would be awesome, Christian. Then we could kick ass all of big guys with botnet over there.
1870  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] cudaMiner - a new litecoin mining application [Windows/Linux] on: February 07, 2014, 01:51:38 AM
Finally got it to work ! I was modifying the wrong .conf  Embarrassed

Hashing at 125mh with a 680gtx, it seems okay ?

I don't get any "yay" yet, I suppose it's normal when solo mining ? Never done that before, always had a pool...

Yeah you'll get the "accepted" thing if you get a block, otherwise nothing.

I just found two blocks 2 minutes ago on 200mh/s (2x gtx 670!)

lucky me

You are super lucky. two blocks worth well over 2BTC right now Wink
1871  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] cudaMiner - a new litecoin mining application [Windows/Linux] on: February 07, 2014, 12:41:43 AM
Should I try selling my 192 MAX for 0.95BTC?
I mean that's crazy, but it could also be going up...

Where could you sell it ? coins-e lags as hell and no order is excuted Huh
1872  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] cudaMiner - a new litecoin mining application [Windows/Linux] on: February 07, 2014, 12:39:16 AM
anyone used ypool?

I can't get it to work?

ypool uses getwork and cuda miner uses stratum...

-o http://any-getwork-url.com

should do the trick  Wink

It shows
[2014-02-07 01:38:11] JSON decode failed(1): '[' or '{' expected near '<'
[2014-02-07 01:38:11] json_rpc_call failed, retry after 15 seconds

when I tried to connect with  -o http://ypool.net

Any idea Christian ??
1873  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] cudaMiner - a new litecoin mining application [Windows/Linux] on: February 07, 2014, 12:07:47 AM

cudaminer --algo=keccak -C 2 -L 128 -H 2 -l F1000x16 -i 0  -o stratum+tcp://maxpool.1gh.com:17333 -u x -p x

hey guys. Your command lines and screenshots look allright. Can't see anything fishy.

But even my 3 GTX 780TIs are having a hard time finding any shares now.
mining difficulty around 300 now (dropped off slightly).

Consider pool mining for a steady trickle of income.

Christian

The problem is user stat from 1gh pool won't accept any shares from cudaminer. I tested with minerd and it shows immediately. 3 cudaminer mining with over 300Mhs and it shows nothing from 1gh pool side.
Did everyone check this ?
1874  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] cudaMiner - a new litecoin mining application [Windows/Linux] on: February 07, 2014, 12:00:47 AM

Well, considering I had 12 yays at the start I expected more...

from my initial mining spree minutes after launch,  3 out of 4 found blocks
were accepted (Yay!) and  they now show up in my balance. Lucky.

I also found about a dozen blocks while the network hash rate was in the 5-10
GHash range only - while people were struggling with their Windows wallets. I was
able to get the Linux wallet going and solo mine there.

Mined 1056 MAX so far.

Let's hope they'll be worth some.

Christian

You get rich Christian Wink It about 4 BTC right now, and maybe well over 40 BTC if this madness continues
1875  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] cudaMiner - a new litecoin mining application [Windows/Linux] on: February 06, 2014, 11:22:02 PM
http://max.1gh.com/ pool up
shall we show them what nividia can do?

How to setup  for that pool?

Im able to connect to this pool with  -o stratum+tcp://maxpool.1gh.com:17333 -O myaddress:x
My share was even accepted

[2014-02-07 00:15:28] GPU #0: GeForce GTX 580, 102677 khash/s
[2014-02-07 00:15:29] accepted: 1/1 (100.00%), 102677 khash/s (yay!!!)

But the pool doesn't show any share from me.

Anyone able to connect to 1gh pool ??  Huh
1876  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] cudaMiner - a new litecoin mining application [Windows/Linux] on: February 06, 2014, 10:39:54 PM
How much is the GTX 780 Ti supposed to get?

170 MHash typically. You're getting more. Wow.

I have in total 500 Mhs and only found 4 blocks. Still have 10 GTX 580 lying around but still don't have time to tune Fermi card with keccak.
How many blocks did you get, Christian ?
1877  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] cudaMiner - a new litecoin mining application [Windows/Linux] on: February 06, 2014, 09:38:42 PM
I should go buy a lottery ticket.... thanks Christian!

I am finding one every 10-15 minutes.

I will try to upgrade my hash rate to 1 GHash before I go to bed.

You are Maxcoin millionaire already, Christian.

Btw how did you solo mine with multiple PCs?
1878  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] cudaMiner - a new litecoin mining application [Windows/Linux] on: February 06, 2014, 08:28:31 PM
Block 56 and diff is over 50 already.  Grin

Outstanding work, Christian. Could you post your VTC address so I can donate some VTCs to you?
How are you managing those speeds? When did you download the github? And windows or linux?

sorry for messed up quoting...

Ooh, sorry I don't have a VTC wallet yet.

I just improved the github code once more. > 120 MHash/s possible on GTX 780 now, maybe?

Hi Christian,

You should have one. With the help of your cuda-miner I was able to get 50 VTCs before the diff skyrockets now. And I want to donate 10 VTCs for you. Could you please set up your VTC wallet ?
1880  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] cudaMiner - a new litecoin mining application [Windows/Linux] on: February 06, 2014, 11:34:53 AM
hey!!!  nothing for AMD cards???

Who do you think you are? You come to nVidia threat and demand for AMD? It is laughable.
