haha how many fuguecoin did you have Christian? I think you should have at least 100k. Don't be so sad because I have around 100k too Wink. Maybe someday when ASICs kill all scrypt coins, our Fuguecoin will reborn.

Could be the next blackcoin? or just the exact opposite.  Huh

Exactly. Blackcoin is a clone from Mintcoin and it is success because without premined and a active developer. Whitecoin wants to clone the success from Blackcoin with premined?? I smell a little scam here.
1683  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] cudaMiner - a new litecoin mining application [Windows/Linux] on: April 17, 2014, 06:30:33 PM
Anyone knows how to fix the lastest CudaMiner to mine scrypt or scrypt-jane?
I compiled from github but my rigs crash when CudaMiner starts. CudaMiner version 28-02 works no problem.

It is known to have huge issues so i dont think anyone but christian can fix it

Ok thanks bigjme.
What are you mining right now? I always think scrypt coins are lame but when I look at some profits could be made right now with PoW/PoS coins, I think I need to change my rigs for a few days.

Whitecoin want to clone the success of Blackcoin but with 0.78% premined I think it is just a scam.
Asiacoin looks better for me now. What do you think ?

PS: I just finished my 3. rigs 6x750Tis with ASrock H81 BTC and Linux. It works beautiful. Anyone wants a guide?

Oh yeah, I just see someone with over 1Ghs scrypt at ipominer.com

1       csshih   1,052,377    49,676.904
2      Wuher   487,407    23,007.792

I smell some ASICs around here. Anyone still mining scrypt ??

18:40 16/4/2014: 3-sat wall has come back  Cry!

Conclusion: There are much more greedy and quick-profit people than supporters for this coin. I hope part of them will read this thread and join our side. Currently we are weaker than, I am afraid.

snguyen if I'm not mistaken you are mining in nut2pool and you are always in top 5 miners right? How big is your mining farm btw? Wink
1687  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Rally underway on Mintpal! Microcoin MRC @CoinRocket called it again! on: April 16, 2014, 07:39:23 PM
You guys do realize hes selling you coins he accumulated at 1 satoshi for 3 satoshi.

Right?  Roll Eyes Huh

I don't think so. If a whale trader want to make a move he has a better strategy. He can't alone move MRC to this height.
I think he's just a trader who want to support this coin.
1688  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [MRC] Microcoin - Going up tonight. Already in progress!! :) on: April 16, 2014, 07:36:43 PM
Yes it is. From 1 to 4 not bad.

Yep. For some people that is 400% profit. Blackcoin people look at us with envy eyes like we were last 3 days when BC on the rises LOL
1689  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] microCoin MRC - alcurEX - Scrypt-Jane - nFactor - soon in alcurEX exchange on: April 16, 2014, 07:34:45 PM
It is nice to see this coin in the move again. But the problem is a lot of people try to keep this price as low as possible for profit. It is easy to see how much profits were made:
- Bought at 1 sat, sell at 2 or 3 sats (200-300% profit).
- Bought at 2 sat, sell at 3 or 4 sats (150-200% profit).
- Bought at 3 sat, sell at 4 or 5 sats (133-167% profit).

With this pattern it is easy to see why the 3 sats sell order wall was put back every time.

IMHO, for this coin to make a move to 10 sats range, it needs a lot of things to be happen like alcurex announcement or block rewards drop to 20k. Right now this coin is one of the most profitable coin to mine, and some big miners just dump at 2 or 3 sat because it is for them still the best option now.

why MRC is going up at the moment ? Is there a specific reason ?

the same reason of all coins, pump and get more profit at top,
this will last one week up,
you are welcomed to participate at any stage
so there is no reason... so it is certainly better to wait for "real" events

why DOGE is going up at the moment ? Is there a specific reason ?  no reason...  no reason...  no reason...  no reason...  no reason...  no reason...  Grin
I think reason is low price and degreasing blockrewards.
Both one gives great change to profit with short pump and also for long term invest.
The "real" events we will see when block reward is near 10,000-20,000.
It will be interest time Smiley. Hold your hard mined coins for that.
You will not never get same amount coins what you still mining.

Totally agreed. Still holding over 100mil MRCs like a boss  Grin
But at 10 satoshis I will consider sell a part of it Cheesy

someone is mining at 7Mh/s maybe with gpu miner.. or is it a botnet ?

7Mhs is only around 40 Core-i7 4770k. A lot of people in this world could have access to this computing power. Some botnet owners or gpools could have a few thousand CPUs available. CPU only-coins are very favorite in China because a lot of people have free access to this.

Hi cuda folks,

I'm back after vacation and alot of things happen  Grin
- Groestlcoin was pumped and then dump, but now it rises back again.
- Our Christian works hard for us again. I believe in a bright future of cudaminer.
- Could anyone explain for me the hype around blackcoin btw? Blackcoin clones from Mintcoin without premined, and it is the first kind of self multipool. But it can't support this hypergrown without any underlying infrastructures. So some big whales like wolong support Blackcoin ?? Anyone has some insider tips?  Grin

Btw some incredible things happen with crypto right now and we could expect Bitcoin will rise to the moon.

Aizen

Anyone got that damn sgminer works with AIDEN under Linux could give me an instruction somehow? I have tried all version of sgminer but the reported diff was always false and my rig refused to work. I have added nfactor = 6 to sgminer. Don't understand what's going wrong here.  Huh Huh
1694  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] AIDEN | First Crypto to use Scrypt-OG (Optimized for GPU) [altaccept.com] on: April 09, 2014, 07:39:56 PM
Pulling my hair out since two days to get my rigs working with AIDEN.  Huh
I don't understand what's going wrong here??  Huh
I have compiled sgminer 4.0.0, 4.1.153, 4.1.242 from source myself and use this setting for my 280x rigs:

"intensity" : "19",
"nfactor" : "6",
"worksize" : "256",
"lookup-gap" : "2",
"thread-concurrency" : "24000",
"shaders" : "0",
"gpu-threads" : "1",
"gpu-engine" : "1080",
"gpu-fan" : "30-90",
"gpu-memclock" : "1500",

For sgminer 4.0.0, 4.1.153 all I got is: Shares above targets  Huh
For sgminer 4.1.242 my GPU get SICK and my rigs crashed.   Huh Huh Huh

 Huh

I will very appreciate if someone could enlighten me.

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

No one could help me somehow? I have missed the train since the diff still under 10, and now diff goes up to 90 and I still can't mine.

heres my settings you can try using works well for me, on 4.1.153 v2. Im running a msi 7970 and a msi 280x

{
"pools" : [
   {
      "url" : "Yoururl",
      "user" : "youruser.worker",
      "pass" : "password"
   },
   {
      "url" : ".....",
      "user" : ".......",
      "pass" : "...."
   }

]
,

"intensity" : "13",
"nfactor" : "6",
"worksize" : "256",
"lookup-gap" : "2",
"thread-concurrency" : "24000",
"temp-cutoff" : "90",
"expiry" : "1",
"failover-only" : true,
"log" : "5",
"queue" : "0",
"scan-time" : "1",
"device" : "0",
"gpu-threads" : "2"
}

Thanks but it doesn't work. I got GPU failures with your setting. I think my problem is not the setting of sgminer but the sgminer itself. But that's very strange because I always clone from github and compile it myself. sgminer always works for me with scrypt.
Could anyone give me an instruction to compile sgminer to mine AIDEN under Linux ?

Thanks in advance.

GPUminer and instamine kills this coin.
WTS my 1200 TWEs. PM me good offer.
Thanks.

No one suspicious about the 54k TWE wallet from the start  and no explanation for this? Even if at average diff from 2 at the start, to mine 54k TWEs you need at least 120Mhs = 120 core I7 CPUs. And how is it possible when we don't have miner or pool from the start?
I don't think some big whale cares about this coin even now.
1699  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [Twecoin] [TWE] CPU ONLY - 4 op new hash| NO PREMINE| LAUNCHED! on: April 04, 2014, 11:00:31 AM

Holy Christ. How come that someone having over 50k of TWEs while we don't have a miner and a pool a few hours ago?? Did the dev instamine himself or some big whale from ypool want to try this coin?
Sorry if it sounds harsh but Im very surprised with this 50k TWEs. I'm solomining with 10Mhs for around 20hours and only found 6 blocks = 300 TWEs.
1700  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CACH] CACHeCoin released based on scrypt-jane on: April 02, 2014, 04:08:20 PM
- This coin was advertised as POS coin every week, and why after 1 month I didn't get anything from this POS? Could anyone please explain to me? Do I need to open the wallet and be online for 7 days straight ??

Is your wallet unlocked? If the wallet is encrypted, then it needs to be unlocked in order to get any stakes.

The stake is not guaranteed, it is sort of "mining" too, so you have some chance to claim a stake at every block (that is why the wallet needs to be online, to check if eligible to stake and if yes, then claim the stake block. This mean that if you are lucky you can get lot of stake transactions in single day ... or none.

The more you are online, the more you have chance to stake - if your wallet is online for only 12 hours a day, you have about 50% chance of staking coins compared to being online 24/7

My experience is a bit different, I get usually one or two stakes per day. Also, are those 500 CACH from one single transaction, or sum of several smaller ones? (mining, payouts from pool, ....)

Thanks for your answer. my 500 CACHs are sum of several transactions because I mined mostly from your pool. But still I mined from 06-03-2014 so at least I should have one stake transaction, right?
I can't open my wallet for 24/7 because I don't have stable internet but at least 12 hours / day. So I guess I just have my bad luck with CACH.

Still holding CACH and wait for good news.
