This coin is going NOWHERE WITH PRIMER IN THE COMMUNITY HE IS (OR WAS) ONE OF THE BIGGEST BAG HOLDERS OF SLIM & HIS LOGIC IS TO COMPLETELY BASH AND DEGRADE SLIMCOIN EFFECTIVELY REDUCING HIS OWN PROFITS?! I can't read the errors because of Chinese characters but the best way to update is delete everything in your %APPFOLDER%/Talkcoin EXCEPT wallet.dat file. Then run the wallet again, it should be fine. |

Yeah I'm very sad to see some still wants to manipulate TAC by voting 1 TAC. Like I have stated many times before it won't get the price higher. The only reason for the price to rise is the acceptance of people for the coin, which partly created by people's belief in the newest development of the coin. We as the dev team can't deliver you a false promise, an illusion like many other coins out there, hoping for a dump. What we could deliver is a honest and fair coin, which includes state-of-the-art development of future cryptocurrency. I propose that the coins collected of the chat will be used to avoid long DUMP such as we have now and that forcing the miners to quit strong
This is not impossible. The coins which used for voting and chatting are forever destroyed by transfer to the genesis block which unspendable. This is hardcoded in the source and you can check it. |

You can make the block reward 1000, however if nobody is buying the coin it will cause further deflation.
Surely the best way to make this coin "profitable" is to create more demand, so the price goes up?
a monster with 5Ghs is still mining, my friend. I know it's not you so it is obviously another whale. If he's still mining, you know what will happen That would be MaGNeT then ;p I have left 3 rigs on TAC, to help secure the network, however I've got 265k TAC now and I feel this is enough for now. Can you get our Block Explorer working? I need to put this on the list of tasks to do... You mean BTC MaGNeT ? You know him personally ? Wow he's trying to get TAC too ? And doesn't tweet about it. Hehe. About the block explorer I don't have any experience in it but I could try. Or we can contact Atrides to see whether he could upgrade the block explorer like he promised. |

So it depends on how the dev handles it and how many connections does he have, right ?  I wish you lucky with yours talkcoins, but Talkcoin looks like a dead coin for two weeks. better dead (which is not), than trying to scam people with iceberg ico (I don't wish you luck with your "get rich fast" icebergcoin (I can't believe people are stupid enough to put money in that coin) LOL let's him left djm34. He's the loudest TAC supporter from the start. I won't surprise that he's changing side now. For miners like him profit is the most important thing in the world. after masternode start
I get this annoying message again "inbound port is not open. please open it and try again.
this is not cold/hot setup. this is REGULAR OLD 1 PC just plain hot setup.
cheaplin recommended add masternodeaddr=23.23.186.131:9999
it worked. but as you see this ip : 23.23.186.131 is not MINE. I think its the main servers ip. masternode worked but I did not get paid for 24 hours.
this is my configuration:
masternode=1
listen=1
addnode=23.23.186.131
externalip=mywanip
masternodeprivkey=myprivkey
rpcuser=something
rpcpassword=longpassword
masternodeaddr=23.23.186.131:9999 ** as you see this ip does not belong to me with this setting it works no inbound port not open error but not getting paid**
again this is NOT hot/cold setup. this is just regular 1 pc with 1k coins setup.
23.23.186.131 is the supernode IP, you need this to sync with the network. Your config is wrong, your ip should be in this line: masternodeaddr=yourstaticip:9999 Try to read the guide a few more times and understand how to this. No need to be an expert to do this. |

delete C:\Users\Undland\AppData\Roaming\Talkcoin folder and don't forget to keep safe C:\Users\Undland\AppData\Roaming\Talkcoin\wallet.dat Not working. Old QT, which i last used is not working too. When i push "Send", it returns me Runtime error. In other PC same error! I do not use my QT 1-2 months, perhaps old wallet.dat now is not supported? How i can contact to devs?at first you need to unlock your wallet, you can not send any message with secure wallet  Ok. Devs just keeps a silence.  Anyone who help me to solve this problem will receive from me 300TAC. Sorry I would like to help but I didn't have Windows to help you. Did every others Altcoin Qt-clients work too ? These Runtime errors are really bitchy. If you confirm that error is only happens with Talkcoin-Qt client but not others clients, it would be very strange. No users have ever reported about this. |

Coin supply in Talkcoin
Coins supply is different in Talkcoin because as an App coin, TAC is constantly created and destroyed to power the communications functions.
Talkcoins are created through POW, and removed from circlation through communications and voting, there is no fixed limit on supply.
All TAC spent on chat and voting are destroyed by being sent to the genesis block where they are unspendable.
So this means the total number of created TAC is NOT EQUAL to the number of TAC in circulation.
