I wake up late today because of Saturday. Check TAC and wonder how does the diff increase 30%. So it turns out that Christian is the culprit again.  Grin
With this again we leave AMD users in the dusts. Feel so bad for them.

Getting 6.1 MHs at the below on 14.4. Will try 14.6.:

-I 21 -g 1

Intensity 19 does nothing for me. Any other settings? Manual clock speeds, lookup gaps, TC, worksize?

Then again, I also have all my cards undervolted to 0.965, stable. LOVE PowerColor. Tongue

EDIT: 14.6 is where its at! 7MHs on my Toxics. 6.7 on my Vapors. And 6.4 on my PowerColors. Cheesy

I also tried 14.6 beta... got 6.6Mh/s! Shocked LET'S TALK!!!! Grin

14.6 beta is awesome. Over 7.1Mh/s with 280X and 4.3Mh/s with 270 (previous was 6.3Mh/s for 280X and 3.6Mh/s with 270)  Shocked  Shocked

But no X11, X13 mining possible. Only groestl and nist5.

Holy crap, 14.6 took my 280x Vapour-X's to 7.0!  I take back what I said before about drivers...

That's fine for my 4 card rigs, just gotta get 14.6 running on all my 6 card rigs now, which it doesn't do out of the box...

Hehe that's what I told you before. Congrat dude.

PS: Damn I shouldn't publish that information here. Now only me stuck with 13.12 and 5.9Mhs per cards while everyone goes wild with 7Mhs. No wonder if hashrate increases 20% now.  Grin

With current block reward we only need 6.5BTC / day to keep the price at 7000 sat. With over 30BTC trading per day @ bittrex only, the price should at least twice of the current level. Some kids at the chat room cry over " to the moon " and opt to vote one 1 TAC for the next block reward in order to go faster to the moon ? Sorry ? To the moon for many of us is not where you kids could make 100$ and being happy about this. Stop being so greedy and shortsighted. Let's the block reward stays at the same level and the price too, ok? This grown is healthy and critical for the coin.

No X11, X13 coins are profitable now. Why excited about this? Sorry I just don't see the point.

This might help newcomers:

If you download the official miner, set intensity to 21, nothing else, you get good speed and rock solid performance, speeds as follows:
  • Asus 270x - 3.5 Mh/s @ 59c
  • Sapphire 270x Toxic - 3.6 Mh/s @ 57c
  • Sapphire 280x Vapour X - 5.8 Mh/s @ 56c
  • Gigabyte 290 BF4 Ed - 6.85 Mh/s @ 62c

People have been getting much better speeds pushing the clock up with MSI Afterburner etc, I've just been running my cards at default.

Hope that helps...

280x vapour should do better Ignition75. At least 6.5Mhs. If you have time to try the new 14.6 beta drivers, I heard that you even get to 7Mhs.

tried 14.4 and 14.6beta, but not increase hashrate.(5.8Mh/s win7 64bit 280x 1080/1500) Sad
uuummm...
What do you use mining software?

is 7.5 MH on r290 is OK ?

I can only get to 7Mhs with R9 290. What's your setting? And your AMD driver ?
1308  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][TAC] TalkCoin | First Anonymous Chat | First NIST5 | Vote/No Premine on: June 12, 2014, 09:15:53 PM

I got 6.666, 6.67 and 6.74 Mhs for three vapor 280x cards. Gpu is 1160 with I 21. All three cards are stable and running for several days.  Cheesy

Which AMD drivers do you use? I still use the 13.12 driver and the best I could get from my card is 6.2Mhs.

I can't be arsed running MSI Afterburner on each rig... Waiting for a miner where you can set --gpu-engine either in bat file or through the cfg file...

I'm going to try dropping the TAC kernel into SGMiner5  Grin

I normally run --gpu-engine 1250 on the Toxics so maybe I'll try 1300  Tongue

Edit: There is not one kernel file, it's a mix of 5 or so, there goes that idea...

delete all the *.bin file in the talkcoin-miner folder, or whatever you define your kernel location in conf file. set --gpu-engine 1250 and it should be fine.

Can't set gpu-engine with the official miner...

It seems there was some bugs with the precompiled windows version and ADL. Try from talkcoin-miner, press G, C, choose your GPU and try to set gpu engine clock. Tell me if it works. I don't have windows so I can only speculate. Sorry dude.

No he was pushing the clock up with MSI AFterburner, drivers don't make that much difference in speed, just stability...

If you have 6 card rigs and are running Windoz 14.6 is a pain in the arse to get 6 cards recognised.  I just use stock microsoft drivers through windoz update...

Try intensity 23 and set your Vapour clock to 1200. Should get 6.5Mhs. VapourX cards are very good and NIST5 is not much demanding for your cards.

Yet 200BTC market cap? I think when this coin arrives coinmarketcap and people see on the list unvervalued together with shitcoins like kittehcoin, orangecoin... It will be a panic buy

Damn it should be not too fast. 3 days and more than 100% grown already. Some whales could you please dump TAC back to 3k sat then? I'd appreciate that. Thanks.

It'll come back down.

Yeah 5 BTC worth dumped at once and it only moves back 7k sat. Come on whales what are you doing? Dump more. I want to see 3k sat TAC again.

why..., it still too cheap, this baby should have been rise to 40k already, whales are mia here

I rather see people trading at 3k sat for a while more than growing too fast now. Let's TAC stays outside the radar of some megafarms for a week or 10 days more, so at least we should have 4,5mil TAC in circulation. The coin grows too fast without enough liquidity should kill it faster than pump&dump schemes.

Hi, does anyone know if the miner can be installed on PiMP, and if so how to do it?

I'd really appreciate someone's help with what commands I'd need to get it from Github.

Thanks.

Anyone help with this for some TAC? Say, 500?

I don't have PiMP but it should be pretty easy to do.
Could you post for me the output of these commands:
ls -la /etc/miner
ls -la /opt/miner
ls -al /etc/bamt

Send me a PM of those outputs and I sent you the instructions how to compile

guys how many coins in circulation

Dude, there was a button called search. Only 10 posts before your post.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=619210.msg7260675#msg7260675

Btw, only 1.6BTC to 10k sat. Nobody wants to sell that cheap. LOL  Grin

suprnova is currently under DDoS guys.. Please bear with me, i was not prepared this coin would get this attention so quickly, i'm actively working on it right now, everything should be back to normal within a few minutes.

Take your time. We are surprise too. We did think that this coin should be stay under the radar of Chinese whales for a little longer, but now seems to be too unrealistic. Every pool gets DDoS since yesterday and net hash is doubled. This coin is promoted hard in China now, so expect 10k sat today.

And for every dumpers under 10k sat at bittrex, hey thanks you.

Any one know how many TAC outstanding currently?

Thank you

Let's assume the average block reward is 20 TAC, so since start we should have 20*(60/20)*60*24 = 86400 coins / day => around 3.2mil TACs available.

True, and that give us a market cap of 200BTC aprox. like coins as kittehcoin, orangecoin, redcoin... What does it mean? That talkcoin is undervalued right now. We should have a market cap of at least 1200-1500 BTC like Cloakcoin or Jackpotcoin. So price should hit 30k satoshis soon at least. This is my advice for traders

TAC will reach DRK market cap of today by the time DRK reaches LTC market cap. 1mil market cap for TAC is only time matters.

What do you think about Poloniex?

Poloniex will add Talkcoin this week. https://www.poloniex.com/voting

Poloniex will be a double edged sword... It will be a wonderful gateway to the likes of Mintpal and Cryptsy, however the sharks will squeeze the life out of this coin if they smell blood... So plenty of strong hands to create the market liquidity this coin will need to flourish  Tongue

Agreed. We already have bittrex. No need for 2. class exchange anymore. But we should let the coin to stabilize before add to Mintpal/Cryptsy. If we were added to Mintpal now ( I assume ), TAC price will skyrocket to at least 30-50k sat. So then a lot of people will cash out because they bought/mined TAC too cheap/easy. But the liquidity still not enough to support the coin. Then a lot of bad things could happen. We want to avoid this because TAC has real potential to become as big as DRK now.

I mined TAC right at the start, then I stopped to allow other people to get some coins, I would have taken too much of the available supply...

Coming back now as it seems to have matured rather nicely and it's holding it's own on Bittrex...

I don't know enough about the developers to say whether or not it will be as big as DRK, but it certainly has got great potential... So far so good  Grin

I see you have been very active on the forum, which is great...

I read your story about you and your father. Sorry to hear that. Yeah I have mined a few TAC from the start but then change to JPC, should be able to make more money with JPC but I always see that coin as a joke so I cash out very early before the pump. I mined DRK at the beginning to but dumped it like other miners, so bought back 100 times more expensive than I have sold. Now TAC is the real another chance to make money so I need to be more active  Grin

If you have some plans to promote TAC please tell me if I could do anything to help. (But it's still too soon now, we need to mine a little more  Grin).

No need to apologise, it was more funny than anything else... He doesn't understand crypto, you should hear how I have to explain the blockchain and mining algorithms to him  Roll Eyes

I'm holding my TAC for at least 12 months, crypto has taught me one thing, you mine what you think will be profitable in 6-12 months time, strong hands make money... And no dumps... Slowly release your coins...

Good coins promote themselves, I'm very glad the dev went his own algorithm aren't you?

Yep. This coin is exactly like DRK 5 months ago. This just came out in the time of a lot shit/clone coins so a lot of people don't pay attention to it. Yeah if you think short term you could earn enough money for living, but for big money you need to a strong hand. Thanks for the suggestion. I will hold most of my TAC but maybe I will cashout 10% at 100k sat / TAC  Grin
Btw how big is your farm anyway? AMD?
