price will go down to 0.01 again pretty soon. you can easily read it on mintpal charts if you click on max. just a natural pattern for all cryptos and drk is no exception.

He dumped all DRK's at 0.014, bought XC, and is now going to dump all XC? basically. If XC has growing pains he'll drop it and call it a scam. Rinse, repeat. I don't really blame him. I guess this progressively more and more aggressive newcomer/dumb-raper/butcherer crypto-scam game (basically everything after BTC in one way or the other + even BTC through Karpeles's GOX) have successfully made most of the people shitcoin-paranoid up to a point where it became a self-sustaining ecosystem. The seemingly endless shitcoin collapses made almost everybody paranoid, so it's extremely hard for any honest innovation to escape the shitcoin stereotypes and even harder (if even possible) to keep that hard earned weak confidence when there is even the slightest problem on the horizon. I saw through this problem in my own psyche when I shot down my MN and sold that 1k DRK during the pumps but started to miss it the next day. Not only because the price kept rising but because of the realization that I made a logical mistake. I knew it will probably fall back temporarily (follow the regular pump&dump scheme) and thus I will have a chance to buy back. But still... I missed it and marked it as a mistake. Well, I seem to have that second chance on the road now and I learned the lesson after I experienced that "you miss something only after you already lost it": after reading and thinking a lot about DRK, no other coin felt like a good investment anymore but DRK felt even better than before. I think I already said this: owning BTC just didn't felt that great anymore and I couldn't imagine to put that BTC into any other altcoin which is not DRK. And as "profiteering" goes: I keep my crypto and fiat funds completely separated. I don't sell crypto for fiat. I am trying to increase my virtual wealth in crypto and "switch lifes" when crypto starts to officially rule the world. So... those who don't like high number of the Amazon EC2 masternodes, I will probably restart mine in the garage soon. Great post! |

Which others 2 coins do you mention? it is xxxx and xxxx more seriously: ROM and Iaurab (an other X13, if I am not mistaken on the launch date for the second) For kfc, I regret to not have dumped everything, I was mainly the only one being able to put the coin to the exchange (because of the very long validating time) Yeah everyone forgets about this coin even the IPO investors. 2 weeks is eternity in cryptoland  . If you read regularly the thread, Christian said that the missing two algo wasn't ready (yet). And quite frankly, before yesterday there wasn't anybody asking for it... (kinda short-sighted...) Apparently I have more faith in humanity than anyone else around here I'll implement the masternode payments via hardfork, who knows, maybe all of you are right. By the way, I'm not talking about the price now or even in a year. It's about the security of the network when it's large enough to support a decent amount of transactions. Giving a higher reward simply doubles or triples the cost of such an attack, 10% was just too low. Thank God! If you saw all these paid trolls constantly attacking on this thread and everywhere else all day long, you'd lose your faith as well, LOL. I have the same board too. I use Linux and all of my 7 cards get recognized instantly without any pin to be shorted. I only need to change the 3. PCIE16 slot in BIOS to gen2 to recognize the 7. card.
But problem comes when I started ccminer. The machine crashes instantly and restart. I have look at all the logs but found nothing. It seems like the board won't deliver enough power for all 7 cards. Of course I use power risers on all cards.
It is very strange but I still don't have time to test more. Im staying with the 6 cards setup with Asrock H81 BTC pro now.

I have 7gpus in win7 x64 rig. setting up is a b*tch but it can be done. tip: for 5-7 gpu rig, dont skimp on cpu and memory. celeron and 4gb may not hack it. mine is g3220 and 16gb ram Nice to see someone got it running. I have tried a lot of mainboards for the 7 cards combi but all of those failed. Of course I only use cheap CPU and 4GB Ram. Which mainboard do you use for your rig? |
