Anyone knows who is the best folders in our team?
http://fah-web2.stanford.edu/cgi-bin/main.py?qtype=userpage&teamnum=224497&username=dime

He has only 9 clients active and his points are around 70mil PPD. I wonder what kind of monster machines does he have to get such enormous PPD.

Thanks in advance if someone could enlighten me.

Figured maybe if they weren't using the 780ti due to energy costs then a couple of 750tis would be more profitable.

Can't blame a guy for trying?  Grin
Either of you guys want to trade your 780ti for a couple of of these:
GIGABYTE GV-N75TWF2OC-2GI GeForce GTX 750 Ti
Core Clock: 1215MHz
Boost Clock: 1294MHz
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125511&nm_mc=TEMC-RMA-Approvel&cm_mmc=TEMC-RMA-Approvel-_-Content-_-text-_-
Delivered to me on 4/25/14

I'm not worried about electrical cost.
a couple  Grin that's not enough... throw at least 2 more  Grin (don't remember how much I paid for it, but it was in the 600euros)
(nope sorry... I keep my 780ti)

Haha, I could even offer 3xPalit 750ti CoreClock: 1285Mhz for a 780ti. PM me if you're interested Grin

Atleast you got some cards that don't eat power, my single GTX 780 isn't profitable with anything :p

0.015BTC / day with one 780 GTX and you call it unprofitable? Ok then just mining for fun or folding for feeling good, nothing in this cryptoworld is profitable now Wink.

Btw, here are the informations for someone who wants to use his 750ti for folding

So a 6x750ti rig will be ok?
Is there a howto to mine (fold) that coin?
Ill mine it and do something for the world if it will be >0.01 BTC / day at my 6 card rig.
Im unsure if i should invest time into it if i look at the charts and see curecoin crashing 50% only today
https://bittrex.com/Market/?MarketName=BTC-CURE

Hi Christian,

You just need to fold with your name and the team number of cryptobullionpools.com (Curecoin Folding team #224497)
Howto:
http://curecoin.us/index.php?topic=9.0

6x750ti should get you 180k PPD daily, even with this price, you could get 0.018 BTC. But in term of raw performance I think you should use your 780ti or 780, one 780 should get you the same PPD daily. folding@home still don't like Maxwell very much.
And you need to be very patient. Stats won't show after one day and payout won't come after 3 days.
But for miners, patience is a very strange word  Grin

gotcha, has anyone here tried folding with a 750 ti?  I get about 16919 ppd with my 750 ti on 0x15.

if anyone has had any luck getting 0x17 with a 750 ti I would appreciate any insight, thanks again guys

My understanding is that the current 0x17 core does not like the Maxwell chip in the 750ti. The folding@home team is working on a solution, and there's a beta 0x17 core you can try. I am firing up a pair of 750ti's I just acquired tonight, so I'll be doing my own tests with them. if I find out anything useful I'll post it here. In the meantime, search the folding@home forum for '750ti' to see the current discussions regarding it and what progress has been made. getting ready to do that myself, it's been a few days since I checked back there.

Nice info. Thanks.
Could someone provide an estimate of given PPD and CURE earning daily at current difficulty? I try to find some stats but nothing's available. I got around 90k PPD with my 680 GTX. Thanks in advance.
1546  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Diamond (DMD) Evolution v 2.0 | NEW wallet, coin mechanics, 50% POS on: May 14, 2014, 08:10:48 PM
aby idea why GRS cpu miner dont work on DMD?

Dear Diamond developers, miners, community!

I think that it is a problem that even though Groestlcoin and Diamond are using the same hashing algorithm, the miner applications are not compatible.
It is creating confusion for the miners. The change in the stratum mining code is trivial, but you'd have to do it and recompile a miner every time it is updated.
Also, I believe this will make it difficult (impossible?) to do merged mining in the future.

I think that it is possible to fix this situation now, when there are no exchanges, just a single pool and low network hashrate.
You can make a fork and switch from sha256(sha256()) to groestl512(groestl512()) in block hash.
That will make all miners compatible.

Thank you
srcxxx

Agreed. Two is better than one. Currently only groestlcoin and diamond use the incredible groestl hashing algorithm. We need to unite our force and educate people about this amazing algo.
1547  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Diamond Coin (DMD) Evolution v 2.0 | NEW wallet, coin mechanics, 50% POS on: May 11, 2014, 02:08:30 PM
Ignore 3333. That was for the old scrypt pool. Follow the instructions at the top of the pool page.

Port 3333 works now with groestl, but with a fixed miner, that has the diamond mining kernel. Fixes, at least for sph-sgminer will be available now. Ubuntu 14.4 binary is also available.

But pushpool functions just as well now, and runs on port 3345. It is compatible with any groestlcoin miner, in fact with all miners capable of solo mining Diamond.

I've been solo mining DMD just fine. so if I understand well I should be able to mine in the pool. However all my shares are rejected.

In order to mine with your current miner, just change your -o option to http://dmdpool.digsys.bg:3345 and obviously your username and password. That's all you need to do to change from solo mining.

Don't use stratum+tcp://dmdpool.digsys.bg:3333 until you have updated your miner with one that supports Diamond. All shares will be rejected.

Thanks danbi for the pool. Finally. I confirmed both getwork @ port 3345 and stratum @ port 3333 works, but with getwork I got a lot of rejections (>35%).
I will stick with solo for a while then. Thanks anyway, danbi. You're great contributor for the DMD community.

10000sat @ Bittrex  Cool

i think this is still cheap! its very hard to mine!!

btw of course I claim my Airdrop Cheesy

Nice pump. But when they realize that block reward for tomorrow will be 10k ERC, I wonder who will buy @ even 100 sats?
1550  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][TAC] TalkCoin | First Chat Coin | Voting system | NIST | No Premine/IPO on: May 09, 2014, 02:31:50 PM
where to go 1 talk then i send a message?

Good question. I wonder that too. Cool coin with new concept. But with a block from 25 TAC, 1 TAC per 1 message is too expensive, IMHO.
1551  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] cudaMiner & ccMiner CUDA based mining applications [Windows/Linux/MacOSX] on: May 09, 2014, 11:27:52 AM

There are many models.

yvg1900's fee-based software works on a lot of different pools.  It's closed source, but fairly open-ecosystem.

NaN's is similar, though it doesn't support quite as many protocols.

I tried a 10% dev fee on Riecoin decreasing every other day until 2%, and then open sourced it, and that worked out decently (but I wasn't trying to make a living off of this).

The prime stuff is currently a mess, but that's just a matter of time.  Once some of the miners reach performance parity and platform parity, the thing left to compete on is price and pool support.  At some point, the profit margin will get low enough that someone might take the nuclear option and open source their miner.

Prof. Andersen maybe I missed something here in the scenes. You have published a fast performance CPU-miner for Riecoin, right? I heard about the GPU-miner from you long ago, did you publish already somewhere?
I tried to find some infos about it but I only find about your CPU-miner. Could you guide me somehow?

Thanks in advance.

Can anyone here tell me if the 750 TI will be favorable vs AMD on x11?
I know the miner is not there yet, but by searching around the forums I get the impression that the 750 TI is better vs AMD on non-scrypt-(N/jane/whatever) coins.

current speeds in our development version are 1.8 - 2 MHash/s (killer Groestl, but slow SIMD hash implementation)

is it possible to release a x11 version 1 so that everyone here can participate in mining x11 coin ? There are a lot of new and existing x11 coin (over 20 now). A single x11 algo would bring so much happiness to all nvdia miner

or releasing just the killer groestl miner.. Wink

Come on guys. Christian deserves to mine with his killer-performance for a while before he publishes for us. He's working hard and expects nothing from us. Did you ask yourself how many miners donate to him? It is miners who kill the coin fast. What do you think how long does a profitable coin last when all miners with theirs superior performance miner jump in?
With so many advantages given by Christian for nVidia miners now, we have a lot of coins to choose and still stay profitable. Do research yourself and choose one. Enjoy.

To be honest, I'm feeling greedy myself too hearing about the wild performance of nVidia with X11, but now I'm staying cool. Let's Christian decides when and how to release his killer-performance. I'm even fine with closed source and dev fee. Right now I have so many coins to choose for profit and I wish I could have more than 10 rigs LOL.

Happy mining everyone.  Grin

Hold up. I checked from another pool and I think the Net hashrate was showing incorrectly when I saw it on your pool earlier. It looks like you have 3GH and the Net hashrate is 11GH. Double-check it, but I think it's actually fine.

Actually net hashrate is not reliable. I think it's because PoS affects.

Our last 24 hours stat says.

Last 24 Hours   720   506   506   0    60.6626   125727763   172057258   136.85%   45540001.11   70.28%

Yeah, our pool found 506 block of 720 total.
Our pool's hash share is about 70.28%. It's not reliable also but better to estimate.

Because miningpoolhub found all the jackpot Cheesy. Its stats are unbeatable, free, and stable. Great pool. I mine most of my coins @ miningpoolhub.
1554  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [BTQ] BitQuark | Super secure hashing | CPU mining on: May 06, 2014, 09:22:52 PM
The hash rate still isn't as high as it was the first week after launch. The difficulty stayed between 1.2k - 2k and then dropped for awhile Wink

don't worry, we'll bring it back Wink  I have an army of little green nVidia people.

<puts on his green t-shirt>

The leveldb build issue with the wallet on linux is kind of annoying, though (non-GUI build).

Fixable, as someone noted, by cp'ing src/leveldb/* from another wallet source tree, but this seems like low-hanging fruit to fix if you want more people mining.

I can confirm Prof. Andersen's method works.

Nice to see Christian shows his magic again, but somehow I have the feeling that we'll kill the coin. A handful nVidia-miners take over 50% total network hash. Crazy.
1555  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] cudaMiner & ccMiner CUDA based mining applications [Windows/Linux/MacOSX] on: May 06, 2014, 07:53:40 PM
got block with 2.50001 reward. i got jackpot from bitquark? Grin

edit:

now got block with 2.50019 BTQ  Cool

lmaol...i think i had that one...same amount but it got orphened...

look like you beat me on that one

That coin is so tiny. Hashrate has tripled only because of a handful of nVidia miners like us. Maybe we can't sell it at all but I will give it a try. Time to report:
GTX780: 7Mhs
GTX680: 3.8Mhs
750ti: 3Mhs

Thanks again Christian. Since you dominated this coin since the beginning like Fugue. Your holding is much bigger than me, I don't donate my BTC anymore  Grin
1556  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] cudaMiner & ccMiner CUDA based mining applications [Windows/Linux/MacOSX] on: May 06, 2014, 10:09:59 AM

I have a random gainward, non oc it seems to do pretty well... I don't know if the brand is really important here...
It runs in the case close to the gtx780ti at 53°C (55°C on scrypt-jane)

Do you know where I can find the mod bios for gtx750ti ?

Because manufacture OC version gives more hashrates without the hassle of overclock yourself Wink. I got 5-10% morre without doing anything. But the price of course 5% more Wink
1557  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] cudaMiner & ccMiner CUDA based mining applications [Windows/Linux/MacOSX] on: May 06, 2014, 09:51:37 AM
i am planning to add 1 more rig to my house.Do you guys think buying 6x750ti is best bang for the buck?Thinking of either asus OC-2GD5 or msi N750 Ti TF 2GD5/OC

Avoid ASUS at all cost! Hard to OC, has bad memory cooling, expensive!
My suggestion would be: Palit Dual, PNY (if available) and EVGA SC!

i only have zotac, msi and asus in my country best choice would be msi N750 Ti TF 2GD5/OC  ?

Avoid ASUS. Palit/EVGA would be a better option but if you can't get it, Zotac or MSI is fine. Choose cheaper model with higher clock if possible.

BTW concerning Jackpotcoin. As I predicted this coin was dumped hard. Nice coin like Fugue which gives us nvidiaer more advantage than AMD, but it won't last without any proper PR/marketing/usage.

No this one is pretty mediocre. Try the OC version.
1558  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] cudaMiner & ccMiner CUDA based mining applications [Windows/Linux/MacOSX] on: May 05, 2014, 11:00:20 PM
Btw, Ich hoffe dass du damit eine Kiste von König Pilsener holen kannst, oder? Wink

In Munich we prefer local beers like Augustiner, Franziskaner, Paulaner Wink

Achso, so du kommst aus Muenchen Wink Ich mag Augustiner auch.

Ok time to report. With MAXWELL_OR_FERMI = 0 flag my 780 stays at 7.2Mhs. A tiny increase from 7.1Mhs, but it's difficult to tell because the hashrate still fluctuates so much.
I will try to optimize tomorrow then.
G9.
1559  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] cudaMiner & ccMiner CUDA based mining applications [Windows/Linux/MacOSX] on: May 05, 2014, 10:44:17 PM
please help ... only version working for my old gtx 580 is v0.4 ... getting around 7 mhs on groestl ... is this normal?

You got better than me. Version 5 gives me only 5.8Mhs. Maybe I will try ccminer0.4 too. Thanks for this tips Wink

yes got it. Made my total go from 11 mil to 12 mil. Thanks.

did you adjust the MAXWELL_OR_FERMI flag properly? The Titan won't need it, Maxwell will. Groestl is still
part of Jackpot, but in our implementation only in the 3rd round Wink

in my super secret lab my 3 780 Ti cards currently pull this performance
Code:
[2014-05-05 23:56:28] 3 miner threads started, using 'jackpot' algorithm.
[2014-05-06 00:23:18] accepted: 1/1 (100.00%), 56563 khash/s (yay!!!)

Sorry I didn't see that. I only deleted the HEAVY part in parse_config and parse_cmdline because that bug causes ccminer can't read from config file. I will check the flag later then. My 780 gives me only 8Mhs. And jackpot still doesn't work with Fermi, right?

Btw, Ich hoffe dass du damit eine Kiste von König Pilsener holen kannst, oder? Wink

donations for ccMiner

in JPC: JYFBypVDkk583yKWY4M46TG5vXG8hfgD2U
in MNC MShgNUSYwybEbXLvJUtdNg1a7rUeiNgooK

consider these the official donation addresses Wink

10% increase for Titan
30% for Maxwell.

Not bad at all Christian. But to be honest I did expect more Cheesy. Anyway we have another cuda coin again.

Send 1mil JPC to your address Wink Tell me if you don't get it.

Thanks again for your hard-work.
