we have an optimization for jackpot in the works that might almost double the hash rates.
Sweet! I became a JPC millionaire a few minutes ago, I am excited about this coin and look forward to your updates. JPC donation pending... just post an address :-)

Yup. Please post your JPC address Christian so everyone could donate. Great work as always. I'm excited to see the future of nVidia miner
1562  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] cudaMiner & ccMiner CUDA based mining applications [Windows/Linux/MacOSX] on: May 05, 2014, 12:02:36 PM

That's why I never liked gpucoin...
Yes I saw that... all this for 0.15btc...  Grin (either this coin will be huge as the reward decreases pretty fast, either it will be a huge flop... if it does like juggalo...) don't even understand why so many people mining this... (especially with the current difficulty... in 1 day on 1gh I did around 100MNR)

I moved too, to JPC solomining, I found 1 block over night.
I think the best technique for the jackpot, is to put one card in every pool (I have only 3 cards...    Grin)
But as the code is working, no point in doing anything before 2weeks... since we know when the jackpot will hit

You are a genius djm34. That's increasing your change to hit a jackpot by 3 folds. Apparently if you have the 4. card you can send it to solomine. So the jackpot is your Cheesy

Btw JPC is a very addictive coin. The only problem I found so far is a lot of miners want to mine this coin while not many people want to buy it. Who wants to buy from a jackpot which 1000x more than normal? If the dev won't find solutions for spend this coin I don't think it will last. But it takes time. Hopefully my feeling is wrong. That coin is actually very nice.

1563  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Diamond Coin (DMD) Evolution v 2.0 | NEW wallet, coin mechanics, 50% POS on: May 05, 2014, 10:25:16 AM
Lots of people mine at private pools. They aren't secret, just invitation only.  If I'm not soloing, I mine on private pools.

yeah but the main question is
did someone get a pool running with diamond v2 and mining accepted blocks?

if yes we dont need to seek for maybe code related issues on our side

if someone have a pool running that works please just say it
i dont care if he share how he did it
important is just to know if its possible
other pools will find out how later too

I mined diamonds on Power 130 mh/s on your own pool ( windows wallet) in the solo mode. 1-3 are block average hour. I am happy  Wink

You are very lucky. I try to solomine with 160Mhs groestl, and after 12 hours I got 4 blocks.  Huh
Give up solomine forever because I'm just too unlucky.
1564  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][JPC]JackpotCoin, First Jackpot hit! 90,000,000! on: May 05, 2014, 10:05:11 AM
OK.
Let see you keep this promise Smiley

Yeah, we kept promise Smiley

Hm. I did not recieved anything. I'm shure that I was minig on the pool in the time when jackpot was find.

Can you check it pls? My user id is 2854

I got the payment today. approx. 5% of 50% of the jackpot. Not bad but I wonder whether the winner will dump his 50% jackpot to the exchange now? It will keep the price down for at least 33% as it now.
1565  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [NRS|NoirShares] PoS/PoW MORE THAN A COIN - MANDATORY WALLET UPDATE 4/29 on: May 05, 2014, 10:02:57 AM
I have some compiling issues latest git version

Code:
$ make -f makefile.unix
g++ -c -O2 -msse2 -pthread -Wall -Wextra -Wformat -Wformat-security -Wno-unused-parameter -g -DBOOST_SPIRIT_THREADSAFE -I/home/matthias/usr/mining/nrs/NRS/src -I/home/matthias/usr/mining/nrs/NRS/src/obj -DUSE_UPNP=0 -DUSE_IPV6=1 -DHAVE_BUILD_INFO -fno-stack-protector -fstack-protector-all -Wstack-protector -D_FORTIFY_SOURCE=2  -MMD -MF obj/alert.d -o obj/alert.o alert.cpp
alert.cpp:242:1: fatal error: opening dependency file obj/alert.d: No such file or directory
 }
 ^
compilation terminated.
make: *** [obj/alert.o] Error 1

I have to do:
Code:
$ mkdir obj
then I get NoirSharesd compiled.

But qt version I get not compilied:
Code:
$ qmake NoirShares-qt.pro
$ make -j4
...
/usr/bin/ld: unrecognized option '--large-address-aware'
/usr/bin/ld: use the --help option for usage information
collect2: error: ld returned 1 exit status
make: *** [NoirShares-Qt] Error 1

Code:
 $ ld -version
GNU ld (GNU Binutils for Debian) 2.24.51.20140425

any suggestions?

I get through that by deleting line 163, 164 in NoirShares-qt.pro, but I got a lot of other problems after that. Don't have time to fix it yet. So the new source in completely broken in Linux. The dev could provide the fix for us, please?
Thanks.

No one even cares about Linux users without a wallet ?? Even the dev? Anyone has any idea how to compile the wallet in Linux?
Thanks.
1566  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] cudaMiner & ccMiner CUDA based mining applications [Windows/Linux/MacOSX] on: May 05, 2014, 09:52:39 AM
Sooo. 10 hours mining jpc solo and no blocks yet. Are you still solo mining ivanlabrie?

Holy cow. Forget to solomine with this difficulty now bigjme. mine with mininghubs. They are free, fast and their stats is unbeatable.

my share rate there would be tiny Sad in a few hundreds sadly

But you still get shares. Better than nothing if you're very unlucky when trying to solomine. Like with mjonnircoin, I solomined with 600Mhs for 3 hours and get nothing, while djm34 with < 100Mhs got over 100 blocks. Or with Diamond, I try to solomine with 160Mhs groestl, and after 12 hours I got 4 blocks. You got the picture.
You can rely on your luck if the change is low enough.  Myself never believes in luck, actually I've never seen any luck in my life.
Only solomine if diff is low enough. Everything else is futile. Probability is a bitch.  Grin

Happy mining.

Hi all.

I tried to deposit some mints to Mintpal the otherday, but for some reasom the lot af them have just disapeared into oblivium.
Cant see the transaction in the block explorer, the wallet have sent the transaction, but no mints on mintpal.
Can some one help me?

This is what it looks like:

Wallet:

Wallet transaction:

Mintpal deposit adress:

Blockchain to my wallet:

My wallet adress: MeUb2QveC57vQaoq27fjDsmPsjqU1YQvGC

My deposit adress on mintpal: MZ6MvnouboCMf1xEB93nyB1X7odkzdcvZL

The transaction ID: d2d1bb0ce9626bf4ecb0c52e853c234fa85db47bdbfec588709971773fbfd7d0

All and any help appriciated.

Thnx in advance.

It seems that I was not the only one who has the same problem. My 3.5mil MINT disappear too. And I'm pretty sure that I've seen the balance in my mint account a few days ago. Now all was gone without a trace from mintpal. I have filled a ticket. Let's see what will they answer me then.
1569  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][JPC]JackpotCoin, First Jackpot hit! 90,000,000! on: May 04, 2014, 08:31:01 PM
new version of cpuminer, 30% faster than ig0tik3d's version
Code:
[2014-05-04 23:15:29] accepted: 44/44 (100.00%), 822.05 khash/s (yay!!!)
(Note that this is on old four-core SandyBridge)

Judging from donations received, 0.00000000 BTC and 0.00000000 JPC, I don't feel like releasing source code.

https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B9h02pRWKaODQUFTOWdzbVJXZ2s/edit?usp=sharing
size = 135920 bytes

The reason is no many people believe you. ig0tik3d release his code without any fee and he demand nothing from miners. Beside he has more reputation than you.
You could continue to keep your source code for yourself Wink
1570  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE ANN] Mjollnircoin - MNR - Ultra-secure, Fast Transactions & ASIC resistant on: May 04, 2014, 07:31:33 PM
Selling 6 MNR, 0.2 BTC, PM me (I have plenty of trust so not going first)

so 1 is 0.033  Shocked, that's pretty high for a new coin

Takes ages to confirm and very limited quantity, and no exchanges Wink

16 MNR! 0.35 BTC, get em now Wink

lol no i'm not that stupid to pay so much for this

based on cap this should be around 5ks as a starting price, but if we consider the current alt situation, the price is probably much less

Well - until we run out, there's an existence proof that 0.35BTC/16MNR is too high:

caymar, djm34, and dga are all offering to sell at roughly 0.003871 BTC / 1MNR (see previous posts in this thread).

So Prof. Andersen instamined this coin too  Grin. Coud I ask how many blocks did you get, Sir?  Grin
I think our Christian will sell at an even lower price Wink

1574  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]AsiaCoin v2 [AC2] - PoS on: May 04, 2014, 05:18:20 PM
any thoughts on this:
As far as a name, I think asiacoin needs to stay. I like AsiaCoin v2 [AC2] however, the adding V2 seems tacky, and might give a even more negative initial view to new contributors. I suggest the following:

AsiaCoins [ACS]

The coin(s) plural will speak to the initial asiacoin creation to compensate those who had funds in the original asiacoin, and the new asiacoin. (making multiple coins "plural")
This will differentiate the two asiacoins, but will seem like a more natural name.

Agreed! ACS is a better name.
1575  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] cudaMiner & ccMiner CUDA based mining applications [Windows/Linux/MacOSX] on: May 04, 2014, 04:56:11 PM

there's no chance to trade this thing at any reputable exchange yet. It's too early to call us rich.

Quite frankly if it sells at the IPO price, I'll be happy...
(600MH/s you must be doing well too...)

So Christian got 2.3BTC and djm34 13.8BTC with IPO prices.
Look at the diff now I think you guys could sell it a lot more. Congrat!

I give up because of the insanely diff now. Like I said I missed the launch and even with my hashrate I found nothing. Back mining Jackpot Cheesy

have nothing against the idea  Grin but the ipo price is 1x MNR = 0.00001117 BTC

Sorry I mistake the block reward for 1250 coins Cheesy. So you guys got 1/10 of that amount. Still very nice indeed for 20min mining.

not really sure, it is worth running on... 3 hours (23MHash/s) on 1gh gets you 37 MNR.... kind of ridiculous...

I found 21 blocks in the first 20 minutes. yay.
I beat you... 120blocks in the first 11 minutes nothing at all after that
It is a little better than for futurcoin where I got many blocks but nothing after the 2nd minutes

Holy Christ. You guys got rich. Look at the difficulty now. I can't find even one block even with 600Mhs here.
1578  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]AsiaCoin v2 [AC2] - PoS on: May 04, 2014, 03:57:24 PM
just checked my ACwallet...now i got all my AC on this one:
i have 275589.291421 AC
My 20% is for Goldmann.

Go man Smiley

Excellent! But the dev team should have a address for all donation of AC from us, not just for one dev. We are all about transparent here. We can't throw away our 1million $ through the windows simply like that.
1579  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] cudaMiner & ccMiner CUDA based mining applications [Windows/Linux/MacOSX] on: May 04, 2014, 03:05:32 PM
ccminer gets a lot of disconnections for 1gh pool with mjollnircoin, similar to hefty. Anyone knows a fix for this? I only get 70% accepted shares.
1580  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE ANN] Mjollnircoin - MNR - Ultra-secure, Fast Transactions & ASIC resistant on: May 04, 2014, 02:17:43 PM

Thanks Christian. I didn't find it earlier.

Hardly.  Coin doing very well.

If you need assistance then grow up, be polite and ask for what you want/need instead of being a jerk or trying to attack something this is obviously working for the majority of others.

Carlo

Ok sorry then. I still pissed off from the AC lost. It's easy to lose your coolness nowadays with a lot of scam coins. I didn't mean to offend anyone. Sorry!

apt-get install libdb5.1++

Thanks but the reason is I don't want to install this version on my machine.
