XMR is too crowd now. People are mining and holding, waiting for the next DRK. Sorry Christian but it's not my thing. I mine QCN instead, they have the same protocol like XMR and a very competent dev. They even have GUI wallet now (still experimental). Right now everyone's mining XMR, it's my chance to get more QCN. If XMR should ever got explode, I think QCN deserves the same popularity as XMR. QCN has 120 sec block time and 1/2 less block reward than XMR, so logically it should 4 times expensive than XMR  Grin.

APPLICATION FORM TO JOIN COINMARKETCAP SUBMITTED

Good work atleticofa. Now with the block explorer available I'm surprise too see that only with 5BTC I could get in the top 10. TAC is really people's coin, which pretty nice for it's usage.
I'm seriously consider to sell a part of my DRK holding to become the biggest TAC holder.  Grin. Anyone against it?  Grin

Do you wanna be the talkwhale? haha

No I wouldn't steal Ignition75's position  Cool. He's more appropriate for this position than me.  Wink

If you guys want a Blake256 pool, I can start one in a matter of minutes..

I would like to see it ocminer. Btw is it compatible with stratum blake256 miner like cgminer / cudaminer ?
1205  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Slimcoin : Proof of Burn NEW BLOCK GEN, Mineable by low power computer! on: June 17, 2014, 07:15:07 AM
So everyone has the same hash at block 15934. We could discard all blocks after that and relaunch the coin. Don't let such a nice coin die.

TdWkGF35xZgc28sJuY5nfr2PecZXjcD4qU

Oh, that looks even nicer than Atrides's version. I'm sorry you're a little late. I have sent my donation to Atrides. Maybe aleticofa or Ignition75 could send you their donation.
Nice to see that top 1 has only 200k TAC. Very nice distribution of the coin, guys.
1207  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Slimcoin : Proof of Burn NEW BLOCK GEN, Mineable by low power computer! on: June 16, 2014, 10:59:46 PM
Definitely instamine after 15934

Of course. After your pool shut down nobody could be sure to connect to main fork so there was someone connected to his own fork and instamine.
Relaunch after block 15934.
Dev is inactive again ?

Pool was actually shut down around block 16315.

I remember seeing even higher block, but the network kicked the pool back everytime? So relaunch after block 15934 is a better option. I don't mind losing a few hundert SLMs.

can this be implemented as a encrypted anon text messaging for android phones ?. if so then everyone up to no good will want this since blackberrys are getting compromised as of late

This idea was in my mind for a long time but I dont think it's easy for implement. Otherwise it would be a killer feature for crypto in general, not only Talkcoin itself. That would bring mass adoption for cryptocurrency, even faster than Bitcoin. If so, then 1 TAC = 1 BTC  Grin
1210  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][TAC] TalkCoin | First Anonymous Chat | First NIST5 | Vote/No Premine on: June 16, 2014, 10:03:13 PM
WTB Talkcoin.

any quantity, PM offers

what is current miner profitability rate?

We have bittrex as exchange. How much quantity do you want to have without hurting the coin? You can have 100k TAC now without hurting much the coin on exchange.
1211  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] cudaMiner & ccMiner CUDA based mining applications [Windows/Linux/MacOSX] on: June 16, 2014, 09:17:05 PM
thanks, but I've got 2 kilowatts worth of testing gear set up, and probably another 1 kW not currently set up Wink

Makes me want to see pictures of the mad scientist's laboratory...

well here's one of the miners. http://imgur.com/a/5PEvA
the other one looks similar and is made of 780Ti's

meanwhile the CPUs have been upgraded from low end to high end and extra cooling fans placed on top of the cards.

Christian

I only see Chopin. Nice taste. Did you hear it while programming our stuff? No wonder it works like magic.  Wink
1212  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [SFR] SaffronCoin First Multi Algo with X11 and Blake *Bittrex* on: June 16, 2014, 07:55:54 PM
Sad what a silly whitepaper. I never seen price of a healthy coin crash like this

Crash and will go up.

We are still going to do what we proposed.

A paper Wallet and an encrypted chat system are the very next 2 things.

Good luck. I still hold my SFR.
Btw the blake diff tripples already. Extern CPU/GPU-miner is out ?
1213  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][TAC] TalkCoin | First Anonymous Chat | First NIST5 | Vote/No Premine on: June 16, 2014, 07:51:49 PM

We can't contact coinmarketcap until we have a block explorer showing the total amount of coins mined.

It's a bounty of 1000 TAC for that

I know a few lads from the DRK team that might enjoy a bit of extra work, I'm sure they can setup a block explorer for us, I'm happy to pay for it, leave it with me...

Ok maybe I misunderstood your part here, dude.  Grin

1214  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] cudaMiner & ccMiner CUDA based mining applications [Windows/Linux/MacOSX] on: June 16, 2014, 07:15:28 PM

LOL @fingerpointing.

Time to buy some cheap TAC.

Christian don't tell me that you plan to buy back your TACs you have sold.  Cool

I bought 4 BTC worth  of TAC just before they fell to 4000... meh.

but they've recovered, so I can't complain

Don't worry it will recover. TAC gives me the same feeling like DRK, of course in a smaller scale.
Congrat your 100k TAC. Make me calm that you're earning well with BBR and XMR  Wink
1215  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [SFR] SaffronCoin First Multi Algo with X11 and Blake *Bittrex* on: June 16, 2014, 07:13:06 PM
Woow dump at 1500sat atm!  Shocked

Yea pretty strange. Haters were not satisfied. But best time to fetch all this cheap ones.

It's pretty strange that the price is .000015 even though your whitepaper says it should be lower right now? Wtf were you thinking putting price projections in there.

This is why I ended up selling. It's clear OP has very little concept of how the alt scene works.

Damn now I understand why CryptoCobain said that the FUD comes from the dev himself. I feel bad for SFR. Hopefully it will survive through the dump.
1216  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][TAC] TalkCoin | First Anonymous Chat | First NIST5 | Vote/No Premine on: June 16, 2014, 07:11:36 PM
Sorry one more question, how about CPU miner?

I just type cpuminer in the search box and it shows me this:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=619210.msg7321881;topicseen#msg7321881

 Cool
1217  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][TAC] TalkCoin | First Anonymous Chat | First NIST5 | Vote/No Premine on: June 16, 2014, 07:03:47 PM
Can you mine on NVidia cards?

Nvidia has the same advantage with TAC. Check cudaminer/ccminer thread. You'll find more infos there.

Block Explorer is ready!
http://tac.dwarfchain.com/

currently without design, I'll do it next
also in TODO the chat in transactions will be shown

Great news. With this the investor will have more confident to invest in TAC.
Could you do the rich list as well ? Your TAC address please for your work. 500 TAC from me and 1000 TAC from Ignition75. More from dev or not we don't know.
Btw Ignition75 with your 1.5 Ths now could I call you a whale ? Cheesy You got more than 10% network already.  Grin

Hehe, 1.59 Gh/s, I will send 750 TAC for block explorer and 1250 TAC for new miner to djm34, how's that?

Rich list will be important as investors like to track top 10 wallets.

Thank you for the block explorer, I will cancel my work request with the DRK dev community...

Sorry mistype. 1.6Ghs = 13% total nethash. A true whale Cheesy. Come on you said that 1000 TAC for the block explorer, did you? As a man of your word, keep it, don't let Atrides disappointed. I did send my part.

People see for yourself: 4'505'622.43 TAC in circulation. So no premine no hidden mine or instamine. Everything works great as calculated. One of these best coins of 2014.  Cool

Thank you!

Awesome. Rich list is necessary. 500 TAC sent. Now Ignition75's turn.  Cool

Which algorithm is more cost effective to mine with?

1st groestl / 2nd X11 Wink

Depends on diff too, right?
