1601  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is CoinURL Legit? on: May 31, 2015, 04:31:52 PM
CoinURL is good and legit but there has been some problem lately which I think is fixed. I haven't used it for a while now. I also heard they lower pay rate but I am not sure about this. I use a-ads.
1602  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: FAQ: All About Unconfirmed 0 Confirmation Transaction Fee (READ before posting!) on: May 31, 2015, 04:23:51 PM

It is confirmed. Now it has 3 confirmations. It took time to confirm because you didn't add any fees.

I used Iphone application, it doesn't include option for any fees at all. But usually it adds 0.0001 fee. On a computer-browser version my fee is set to 0.001

When I used to use Blockchain.info, fee was added. I don't know why it didn't for you. There is a change Blockchain.info didn't add it because of the high priority* of transaction or there maybe some problems.

* I didn't calculate priority of the transaction.

Edit:

Thanks! It confirmed now! Muhammed Zakir, It was you?

Of course, not me. I don't have any magical power nor do I have a miner to do it.
1603  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: blockchain.info API - callback IP on: May 31, 2015, 04:18:17 PM
If you want to receive a payment, bc.i will create an address for you. Fair enough. Someone sends you coins. Thats 1 tx.
Then they send that same amount to you. Thats another tx.

Why can't they do a batch transfer? or something else; anything but that.. Why do two tx for each payment?

From https://blockchain.info/api/api_receive

You provide a bitcoin address we generate unique addresses that forwards payments to that address instantly notifying a callback URL.

They should figure out a way to fix it..... If I make a payment gateway, I would not do twice as many as needed transactions

You don't know exactly what it does, do you? It is used to receive payment so that we don't want to expose our main address directly. Each time users send payment, new addresses are generated and is forwarded to the address owner set. If we don't want to use this, you can just tell to send the payment to your main address and bear the risk.

Customer sends payment in tx1 to Blockchain.info generated address and Blockchain.info forwards that payment in 2 to owner's address. That is how it works!

How is that different from what I said? I said:
My customer sends payment to bc.i generated address: TX1
The bc.i sends payment to my address INSTANTLY.. that TX2. (Unless I am mistaken, this is how it works)

So for EVERY PAYMENT there are two transactions

Yes. Then, I might have misunderstood what you said.

bc.i could easily batch them into one single tx if they wanted to.

Care to explain "how"?

(do they do this? If so, then I retract my statement) I never tried but I carefully did read their API documentation, which is where I inferred this from.

No, they don't.

If they don't and if you want to still use bc.i, you are most welcome.

I don't use it. I don't have a shopping website or something to use it or similar services.
1604  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Missing Bitcoin??? on: May 31, 2015, 03:42:06 PM
Have you checked in an explorer, for example www.blocktrail.com, about the transaction you sent? See if block explorer shows that transaction.
1605  Economy / Services / Re: Diamond's Free & Reliable Escrow Service | Small fees only in certain cases on: May 31, 2015, 03:40:12 PM
Do you use (or have) also a PGP/GPG key to sign all the escrow agreements? just asking.

Going to put one in the OP soon, atm I'll sign any contracts I make with my main Bitcoin address so that there's at least some level of security there rather than nothing. Surprisingly though I haven't had any impostors yet.

I don't see any difference between Bitcoin signed message and PGP signed message except there is digital timestamp in PGP signed messages.
1606  Economy / Lending / Re: ★[No Collateral]★[No Interest]★ Offering Micro-Loans To Everyone! on: May 31, 2015, 03:34:27 PM
Do you do loans for longer-term?  I don't mean several months, I just mean like 30-60 day repayments?

I only ask because I'm getting a new job on Monday but their starting time takes at least two weeks xD

If the user is trustworthy and if there is a valid reason, yes.

Loan Amount : 0.005 BTC
Reason           : I need it to join GirlBTC Twitter campaign (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1075798.0) but I must place bet on their website I have all thier requirements but I just sold all my Bitcoin. 1607  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: FAQ: All About Unconfirmed 0 Confirmation Transaction Fee (READ before posting!) on: May 31, 2015, 03:15:23 PM
Is there any service for manually adding a fee to a pool? Created Transaction using blockchain.info wallet... Usually it takes some fee, but in this case, it doesn't for some how... It is <0.5 kb , only 2 outputs >1 btc each and it says High Priority. But It takes 6 hours for now, and it still stays unconfirmed Sad

Can you please post TXID?

P.S. You can use Blockchain.info custom spend to set a fee of your choice.
1608  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do islam hates people? on: May 31, 2015, 03:13:39 PM
No, your link is not proof there are non_muslims in the ISIS groups.  There is no mention of the religion of the man in that story that I saw.

There have been some claims that a few Western nationals of Christian background have traveled to Syria, to fight with ISIS. But the evidence indicates that they converted to Islam, to become acceptable to the ISIS. Also, there are a few people who converted to Islam in the prisons, fighting with ISIS right now.

After Germany invaded Poland, and later France, countless of the male population of those countries were forced to fight on the German uniform.

So you are telling they were forced to fight with ISI? Undecided
1609  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2015-05-31] NY Post: Bitcoin struggles for legitimacy on: May 31, 2015, 03:09:18 PM
I can't believe NY posted it. Undecided Fiat would have been fake when Charles Ponzi created a big ponzi and many people smuggled.
1610  Other / Meta / Re: Nominate (insert name here) to the default trust list on: May 31, 2015, 03:02:07 PM

THIS is the very reason why I dont support the 'Trust system' any random motherfudger can come & create a baseless accusation and the accused would have to spend days trying to repair his image or at least explain to every damn moron that believes the accusation.

This.

No baseless accusations has ever endure for long. IRL, you will have to do the same.

*ahem* 10 months *ahem*

It hasn't affected your reputation.
1611  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Did Quickseller or marcotheminer frame ndnhc? If not, who did? on: May 31, 2015, 02:40:06 PM
Anyone ask this already? Why from so many people posting address in Dadice prediction thread, he stalk in question2?

Most people will not even check the address posted there, especially if it is a newbie account

Newbies' posts are far more easier to find than others. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=recent;patrol

Why question2? Apart from so many newbie or new account posting address for giveaway? Normal people will not even bother about it

If you checked that link I gave, you can see it only consists of newbies' posts. The link I gave is used to moderate/report spams by newbies. I don't know about QS but IIRC, I have seen him saying that he reports posts. So it is possible he saw it when he was going through patrol page. As it is known that question2 is an extortionist, QS may have checked about the address posted by him/her. I don't know how he did but there is an easier way -- https://www.blocktrail.com/BTC/address/12Ey8KPWPcv22VVUdZWCTQFZH97Yy1XAuE/links. He may or may not used this and we will have to ask him to know the answer. QS have a scambusting behavior, so it is also possible he is following that account closely or username in patrol page catched his eye or it is also possible he framed ndnhc(though I don't believe this).

Which wallet are you using in tablet? It's name?

It is called simply "Bitcoin".

Link to the wallet?
1614  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: ndnhc[resolved] on: May 31, 2015, 01:38:49 PM
...
The very definition of an absolutely useless poster with no ability or time to think. Posting just to increase count by following the popular opinion.

Useless posts? Are you serious? I post only my opinion like all the others, and it is not my fault if someone open an accusation and after it will revealed 'not correct'. In that exact time I thought those things and I have posted them (if you don't want to read my opinion , you are not obliged.. simple ignore me).

Now a suggestion for Quickseller "lock the thread, because all the situation was resolved.

All you do is follow the popular opinion and spam. Your posts do not contribute anything and only clutters up any thread. From the posts I listed above it is clear that either you are posting without thinking, or you are too stupid to think for yourself.

We still couldn't "prove" ndnhc isn't question2 and ndnhc couldn't prove that address is from a shared wallet or deposit address of a site. It is plausible that user post his old address unknowingly. I am not saying ndnhc is extortionist but it is possible.

I'm actually receiving payments on random generated addresses by blockchain.info which forward the bitcoins to my wallet address

Just for that I'd never use bc.i. Why spam the blockchain with an additional transaction? Bc.i and satoshidice are the reason we have to download 10gb blockchains. Have they not heard of offchain tx???

Care to explain with API example how offchain tx can replace bc.i's receive API ?

No need to explain.. Just check out any other payment gateways (e.g, bitpay)

Bitpay is different. You clearly don't know what Blockchain.info forwarding API does. Also, for an off-chain transaction to work, either owner or customer need an account in that site. Owners can't enforce customer to have an account in the payment gateway we use nor do owners can't keep their money in that site forever because they need to get that money and storing money in other's address is very risky.

Yeah that's a dealbreaker, not offering my services if he's now making local thread rules to stop people from criticising him. I'll make sure to tell him why I'm denying his escrow request in PM.

Thank you!

Another problem aroused for mirjangka.

Yeah I saw that feedback XD Christ above I don't think they'll ever be able to find someone to act as an escrow agent at this rate...welp, I guess that's not our fault though, is it? If they could just show mining proof, y'know...

They don't need to provide mining proof because they can't. mirjangka also told they are not providing cloud mining. They only have to fix their website which tells they are proving cloud mining service. I think this website will go away soon and they may come up with new one though I doubt it as they already lost a good amount investing in this scam.

I'd like to ask some opinions as Cloudthink has asked me to escrow. Under the terms I'm thinking of they would have to do the following:

- Make at least three more replies to this thread;

Sorry! I would request them to

 - Remove every cloud mining related words from their website and make it more transparent by telling it is investment scheme with fixed payouts or in other words, this is a ponzi.
 - If they are not willing to do above, provide mining proof.

Their reply is their word without proof which is nothing.

- Escrow an amount of at least 10 BTC, in the event of them absconding excess would be used to repay Cloudthink investors - this would essentially double as an escrow for the website.

You will be in a big problem.

 - You can't know who deposited in their site.
 - You can't know how much a person deposited.
 - You won't have any details which you can use to verify what victims tell because owners will be gone.

That sound fair or should I not do it? They might not even agree to that to be honest Tongue

You must not.
