Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: How to create/send a Tx from Brainwallet.org

There must have been some mistake on your part. After you enter destination address, it will auto-sign transaction. You can either send it by clicking 'Send Transaction'* or by pushing the signed raw transaction elsewhere. Try again.
It is not good to expose private keys to these websites. It is better to download a version and use it forever. There can be instances where the developer add shady codes. Be cautious!
* Brainwallet.org uses Blockchain.info/pushtx to push signed raw transaction.

Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Gavin Threatens to Quit Bitcoin Development and Join Hearn's Fork

And nobody actually read his post. This is the biggest amount of FUD I have seen in a long time. What do other people think?
If we can't come to an agreement soon, then I'll ask for help reviewing/submitting patches to Mike's Bitcoin-Xt project that implement a big increase now that grows over time so we may never have to go through all this rancor and debate again.
I'll then ask for help lobbying the merchant services and exchanges and hosted wallet companies and other bitcoind-using-infrastructure companies (and anybody who agrees with me that we need bigger blocks sooner rather than later) to run Bitcoin-Xt instead of Bitcoin Core, and state that they are running it. We'll be able to see uptake on the network by monitoring client versions.
Perhaps by the time that happens there will be consensus bigger blocks are needed sooner rather than later; if so, great! The early deployment will just serve as early testing, and all of the software already deployed will ready for bigger blocks.
But if there is still no consensus among developers but the "bigger blocks now" movement is successful, I'll ask for help getting big miners to do the same, and use the soft-fork block version voting mechanism to (hopefully) get a majority and then a super-majority willing to produce bigger blocks. The purpose of that process is to prove to any doubters that they'd better start supporting bigger blocks or they'll be left behind, and to give them a chance to upgrade before that happens.
Because if we can't come to consensus here, the ultimate authority for determining consensus is what code the majority of merchants and exchanges and miners are running.
-- -- Gavin Andresen Please point to the place where "Gavin Threatens to Quit Bitcoin Development and Join Hearn's Fork" What exactly is BitcoinXT? is it an altcoin?
Bitcoin XT is a patch set on top of Bitcoin Core, with a focus on upgrades to the peer to peer protocol. By running it you can opt in to providing the Bitcoin network with additional services beyond what Bitcoin Core nodes provide. - https://github.com/bitcoinxt/bitcoinxt/blob/0.10.1/README.md

You still think ISIS and other such groups are doing Islamic. They are Muslims and doing jihads. Bla bla bla... This is one of the proof there are non-Muslims in these groups. They are just paychos. No Islam, no religion, no good humanity just eager to get money and power.

This is ludicrous if you ask me.
Why should VOD be the dictator of when someone gets to ask for a loan ?
Say if his father has an accident next day and exhausts his savings / insurance and asking for a loan on Jam is the ONLY choice he is left with, VOD can come in and label him as a scammer, like WTF ?
Its like appointing VOD the authority from where Save has to get 'Permission' before asking for a loan (here or anywhere).
Yes I ve been here for a while and I have seen how much scammers have tormented the people on this forum and on Jam. But what the hell ? Why are people gonna get a rating BEFORE a scam happens ?
This shit is so Minority Report...
Like I said, "trust" is the issue here.

Economy / Lending / Re: [EDU] The Rule of "No Collateral, No Loan" - IGNORE AT YOUR OWN RISK!
|

i was just thinking why give negative trust if someone has requested loan without collateral, i mean he has not done anything wrong yet....i mean if you think borrower is not trust worthy then simply avoid that person and don't give loans. I am just saying this maybe because of this someone innocent can suffer.
Are you telling to encourage people without any trust who is very probable alt of established users to ask for loans in a place where users even scammed for as little as $1(maybe less)? Leaving negative trust is to prevent scam. You can see most accounts will be inactive after receiving negative trust which shows those accounts were made solely to ask loan(s).

THIS is the very reason why I dont support the 'Trust system' any random motherfudger can come & create a baseless accusation and the accused would have to spend days trying to repair his image or at least explain to every damn moron that believes the accusation.
This. No baseless accusations has ever endure for long. IRL, you will have to do the same.

But CrackedLogic asked an interesting thing, why everytime the forum is hacked the search function is disabled ? is it related with the forum integrity ? When using it, forum is having performance issue? There is already slow performance issue recently. That might be the reason.

Economy / Service Discussion / Re: blockchain.info API - callback IP
|
on: May 30, 2015, 04:06:13 PM

When I ping Blockchain.info, IP I am getting is 141.101.112.196. Try whitelisting it. Please ping before you add IP to ensure I am saying is true.
My whitelist already contains: 141.101.112.196 190.93.243.195 But unfortunately, none of them resolved my problem. I've also found a good read: Blockchain.info - confirm IP address for callbacksSeems that 82.145.55.247 is offline, probably because blockchain.info updates its address after a certain period. What do you think? ~2 years passed. IP address changed. By the way, blockchain' support has now escalated my ticket to their development department. Fingers crossed!
Congrats. I also suggest you to create a temporary (free) website and find their IP. You can use their website to test to find IP. https://blockchain.info/api/api_receive

Ok Vod if you say so. Almost like you know me so well, and know exactly what I have invested and traded with.
But its ok, lets agree to disagree and end this here. You have got your wishes, I have removed my listing and I will not post anything until the 15th June.

#1. Go into your "PROFILE", click "Look and Layout Preferences" and tick "Don't warn on new replies made while posting".
#2. I'm not sure if it would of stored it in your drafts but, it's probably worth a shot. I know it saves it when you preview or post, but not sure of an attempted post. #3. Click 'Post' again.
