Can you post your address here? 0.0001BTC is enough to spend as fee for every 1000 bytes. If you receive lot of small payments, your transaction fee increases. Posting your address here will let us know what will be the fee to send 0.005BTC.

His post should have said Every staff member can while list, as well as a few others Local mods can't whitelist, right?
*Any* staff member can whitelist and nuke a newbie Thank you for telling! I thought local mods who are not patrollers or mods of main boards can't nuke newbies. * Fixed typos.

I hope someone here has an answer for this.... I sent myself (to my new mycelium app on phone) from the armory wallet .44 BTC this was yesterday morning, so far no confirmations?? and it says in the info on armory that its not in the blockchain yet? its been more then 24 hours. The funny thing is that it is in my new app on my phone as an available amount to spend? Its weird that its not in the blockchain and has 0 confirmations... I even searched the transaction hash and its not in chain? ? Any ideas?? Thanks Bryon Your Armory client is not fully synced. Wait until it is synced fully.

I would suggest for future to make a new account and add it to your sale staff , so to avoid such things in future .
Do you mean to evade his ban? @OP: Don't evade a ban. It will only increase your ban duration.

So basically since you can't register accounts through TOR anymore, or pay the btc to have them registered, this is the only way to have the account "whitelisted"? Am I to understand this correctly?
He is asking to get whitelisted for reducing waiting time between activity not for using an account. To your question: Yes.

I think I get it and it's logical of course. After that so called backup (of private keys) the wallet (if still active) also contains all keys and can make TXs.
-snip-
Be aware, however, that everytime you send a transaction from the wallet, it will move bitcoins to a new address that is NOT in your archive.
I didn't get you. You mean change address? If yes, isn't change address(es) shown when running listaddressgroupings? Change addresses that have been used in the past? Yes. Change addresses that will be used in the future? I don't think so. Thank you! Got it. After he deletes wallet.dat and open core, a new wallet will be created. It is unlikely to delete newly created wallet.dat file but I understand what you said. It is indeed logical.

Whitelisting does not take away PM per hour limits. You will not need to wait 360 seconds between PMs however you will be stopped at 5 PMs per hour (and I am fairly certain that a PM to two people will count as two PMs).
What does this mean? Ecuamobi suggests that OP just has to sit it out. Quickseller suggests there is such a thing as whitelisting but that it doesn't affect PMs. I'm confused. 'Whitelisting' is there. Admins and a few others can whitelist users. EcuaMobi said it won't happen because admins and others who can do it needs a good reason for whitelisting a user and OP doesn't have it. So the chances are very low.

Hey guys,
I signed my first message 1 week ago in Multibit and now ALL payments that I receive, the respective description turns into the message I signed... Anyone can help me out with this?
What do you mean by 'respective description'? Can you post a screenshot? (You can hide certain things if you don't want to share them, just show us how the 'description' looks like in wallet) When I get home I will. The signature description that I had to use, in this case to login A-Ads.com. Is there a big problem with it? After all, it's just a description. I don't think signing a message will do this and I don't remember any automatic way to change description. This might be bug.

If you have wallet.dat files, then download the bitcoin software from this link and install it.
http://sourceforge.net/projects/bitcoin/
If you don't want to download Gigabytes of the whole bitcoin blockchain, then run the wallet once after installing it, and close it right away.
Click the windows start button, and type this into the search box, and press the enter key
%appdata%
A folder should open, and you should be able to find a bitcoin folder inside it.
Open the bitcoin folder and replace the wallet.dat already in there with one of your wallet.dat files containing your bitcoins
Run the bitcoin software again, when it opens make a note of your bitcoin address in the receive window
Click help, then debug window, then click the console tab
At the bottom of the console window type
dumpprivkey followed by a space, then type your bitcoin address that you copied from the receive window
Press enter and copy the long string of letters and numbers shows in the console window (that's your private bitcoin key)
Install multibit, run it
Follow this tutorial to create a file needed to import your private key into multibit
https://www.multibit.org/v0.5/help_importASingleKey.html
Select tools from the menu at the top
Select "import private keys" from the "tools" drop down list, click the "import from" button, and select the file you created from the tutorial
Your bitcoins should show up in multibit after it has synced
You will need to repeat these steps for all your wallet.dat files. Good post but you missed one thing, most important thing. "Multibit wallet.dat file is incompatible with Bitcoin core and vice versa". CMIIW. @OP: Download Multibit and open that wallet.dat files from Multibit and see whether you can see the balance or not. As I stated earlier, multibit does not use or create wallet.dat files. It stores bitcoin keys in files with .info and .wallet extensions, and also a folder with a name ending in -data. ......
Multibit does not create a wallet.dat file to store bitcoin keys in, it creates files with .info and .wallet extensions, and also a folder with a name ending in -data for each address.
.....
IIRC Multibit(maybe old versions) do create wallet.dat files and they were different format than Bitcoin core. OP got wallet.dat from Multibit too and if it is true, it is incompatible with Bitcoin core. Basically I have 4 x "wallet.dat" each of these were used in MultiBit. -snip-

There are low quality posts made by you. Increase quality of your posts when you are unbanned and you can avoid getting into potential problems. I don't think admins will lift your ban now but they may reduce it. Good luck!

Is it correct that the command "listaddressgroupings" lists all bitcoin addresses that have UTXO in the wallet?
It lists all addresses including change address(es). When I perform a "dumpprivkey" for each address that's listed after doing "listaddressgroupings", can I use that privkey as a back-up? (e.g. write it down on a note and put it in a safe). And delete without any risk the wallet itself? I suppose yes...
Yes.

mytrezor.com wallet sends xpub to server to retrieve transaction history. However Chrome extension does the device management without revealing any information to our servers. It is completely standalone application, so it does not even reveal your IP to us.
and just to be clear i understand the terms, xpub means "master public key", correct? thanks for clarifying. Yes.
