-snip- ...who is TheGr33k? Welp, just checked and it's some Full Member who has a positive trust score because of someone escrowing a deal for him and Vod giving him a 0.001 BTC loan...oh dear. Jesus Christ I would escrow the damn thing just so no-one gets scammed, no offense to TheGr33k but when did Full Members start escrowing signature campaigns like this Hopefully TC escrows it. I don't endorse this at all but I don't want to see people scammed in all fairness. No, please. I don't want anybody to escrow this campaign especially highly trusted members like TC. It will only increase effectiveness of the scam. Got it the first time you said it no need for a 3rd time (PM + 2 posts) I'm quite aware and to be honest I don't want to (and now that I've badmouthed it I doubt they'd be happy to anyway). Problem is usually it's better to have an escrow than no escrow...because people are gullible and the signature campaign pays EXTREMELY well (I have a 600 post/month deal about to start that doesn't pay that well lol) and obviously people are greedy, the signature campaign is likely to fill up anyway so it doesn't matter if someone escrows. I would like to see TC escrow it just because I don't think it'll make a difference to the amount of people who sign up, but yeah I don't think TheGr33k should escrow due to his very short trust history. You are right in that. I can escrow this if you that is the right thing to do. OP is willing to send me funds if I confirm. Better than nothing, sure. Doesn't really matter who escrows it s'long as it's someone trusted. TC would be my first choice but if he can't do it, there's you, me, etc. *shrug* FYI, TC declined to escrow it. I received a PM from TC few minutes ago.

I really appreciate, that you don't wanna escrow something like this..sooner or later, it will be escrowed by somebody. anyway, not by somebody with enough trustworthy within community. True. I have sent PM to two known escrows to know their opinion. After considering those two opinions, I will rethink about escrowing this. Quite literally the only reason why I am doing this is because I have seen too many (cloudmining) scams before and "CloudThink" gives me a lot of reason to think your site is very likely a scam in the making. And I do think it benefits the community to prevent scams. In my previous post I said I was hoping you would reply, because I very much like to be convinced that you are not a scam (so I would remove my negative trust.) So far your reply did not convince me.
great post.) I also like how you find you source of "company CEO" pictures, template, fiverr video etc. and how you are raising red flags.. The pic was in their site but after it was exposed, they removed it and told that the photo which was posted as Richard Coleman (his Chief Executive Officer who was also helping him to write that post) was a photo taken from another website. That was a mistake and Richard will fully assume this mistake. Richard asked the designer to post a temporary photo so his identity or family doesn't receive any weird messages or threats. I can't believe they come up with such a thing. They are most probably inexperienced scammers.

Signed message will reduce theymos' works and it will increase the speed of account retrieval unless there is something complicated. That's why, signed message is preferred. Sending BTC from that address can also do but that will be time consuming and your chance of retrieval will be low.

I'm sorry to revive an ancient thread, but I see BiPolarBob hasn't been active since 20th February, does anyone know what happened to him? I am fairly certain that he has moved onto other forums. He told me that he has done similar things with other forums and his giveaways were likely abused by a few people claiming multiple times. He told me in our second last conversation(IIRC) that he is active in another forum. Anyone of you guys knows how to contact him or on what forum he is exactly ? It's being a long time , it's really sad to see him leaving and no it's not because of his awesome giveaways , he was a nice guy I don't think anybody knows about it and even if somebody do, I think they won't disclose it. BPB is a person who value his privacy very much.

|
on: May 31, 2015, 07:51:41 AM
|
how to create my own faucet? do i need to know programming language?
making a simple faucet is not that hard, you can easily get a template or something and just change a couple of things and upload it, there are many of them available. and you have a running faucet. but making profit from a faucet and have a good traffic is something else that can not be achieved easily, and at the end you might lose more money than you can earn. Same templates are generally used on lots of faucets. Newbies would find your faucet less interesting and go to another faucet which offers much more features. Without simple programming skills, changing anything can render the entire script unusable or open security holes. but learning programming skills in order to design an attractive website is not easy. you can't just learn the basics and start designing and think you can earn money easy. you might wanna ask a friend or hire someone to that for you. It's easy if you have patience. You may not be able to learn in one day but you can learn in a week or so easily.

I don't know what he said. lets see exactly what was said.
Ok Vod if you say so. Almost like you know me so well, and know exactly what I have invested and traded with.
But its ok, lets agree to disagree and end this here. You have got your wishes, I have removed my listing and I will not post anything until the 15th June.
Like I said show me anywhere I have POSTED ie. Forum asking for a loan? There is no solid ground, as it could mean not asking for another loan, and it could mean not asking on the forums here for another loan. And I have not asking on the forums for a loan. Still the issue is default trust and the abuse of this controlling the web. You posted the listing in this forum. That is indirectly requesting for a loan here. " You have got your wishes, I have removed my listing and I will not post anything until the 15th June" -- it clearly shows you said you won't post anything. Yes I posted once right at the beginning... And then removed the thread and removed my listing. And said I will not post again till 15th... As I am saying this could mean I will not post on the forum asking for another loan... Have I asked for another loan on this forum since the first debacle? No I have not. That is all im saying. Or if you really want to take it for the words they are I should not be writing on this forum at all about anything till the 15th. You said you removed your listing and you will not post anything until the 15th June. From that, I understood that you will not post anything in BTCJam. I think most people understand in the same way or did I understand it in the wrong way?

Where can I get more help on copay? It's working fine but even the personal wallet has the address starting from 3 which is odd, there is no way to import keys into it and I want to know what happens if for some reason the app is down, how do one extract the keys out of the back up file which is really long.
You can either backup locally by saving backup plain text code and password or by saving into cloud(depreciated). You can't import address into wallet because you can't recover imported addresses from backup text. And everytime I spent an input, there is a new address generated and the change is moved to there but does that mean one needs to take backup everytime after spending? Or else how will the new generated address key will get added to backup?
You only need to backup the text once. It is a mnemonic seed. See https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Deterministic_walletAlso, why is it when you open blockchain.info in a mobile broswer there is no option of importing keys??
For some reasons, they have disabled it. Maybe, they haven't got a good UI.

Now they are telling they ain't mining? It looks like TheGr33k will be escrowing their sig campaign. He has yet to post a signed contract though.

It's certainly an interesting question, a comparison of "religious deaths" versus "communist deaths" versus "Nazi deaths."
The two business-cartel like religions (Christianity and Islam) have killed more people than the Communists or the Nazis ever managed. And worse still, many of the genocide perpetrators, such as Junípero Serra are worshiped by the brainwashed believers as "saints"or "martyrs". And don't even mention about the millions of children, sexually abused by these "saints". Not all of them whom medias call Muslims aren't Muslims and you should use Muslims at the least instead of Islam as Islam doesn't try to kill innocent people. Actually, 'Muslims' isn't the right word, 'Munafikhs' is.
