PM Blazr and ask him not to support this scam.

Give negative trust to crazyearner. He was promoting Cryptomm earlier. Once the big one gets red others will be scared and leave.

2 days payouts will get frustrating so I will assume that all participants agree if I escrow the estimated costs until June 8 with a trusted escrow. I will still issue the payouts for June 3 and fund the escrow with costs for the next 4 days, until June 8.

If someone objects choosing BlazrEscrow to act as escrow, state your case in this thread.

Thank you!

Did Blazr already agreed to escrow funds?

Not yet, he sent me a PM offering his services but I'm still waiting for his confirmation. Anyways, I will issue the payouts in a bit.

I am pretty sure he won't. There is no need to send a PM for now.

Thank you for the quick reply... Is it possible to earn bitcoins running different software?

You can mine Bitcoins if you have an ASIC and factors of mining is favorable to you.
1483  Economy / Lending / Re: [OFFERING] BTC LOANS *NO COLLATERAL / COLLATERAL* on: June 03, 2015, 07:33:03 PM
Because i Require a Loan (i make another require in other post): accept as a collateral my account and my amazon account (10 euro) for a 0.1 BTC Loan?

Denied, sorry your account is rated negative by Vod and he is away now. I don't take amazon accounts (see OP).

Thank you. Could you tell me how work to give BTCTalck account as collateral? If i member don't repay his loan, how you could use his account?Huh I don't understand!

People are buying accounts with high activity (Full Member, etc.) to participate in signature campaigns and get higher "pay per post". A lender can sell the collateral account to recover the loaned BTC.

Ok. I undestand. But how really work? Suppose that i have a good account to give you as collateral: how you could obtain my account if i don't pay my loan? I shold give you my ID and my PW? You should change the email of the collateral account? Could you help me to understand?

Lender sends Bitcointalk account username and password to borrower or to a trusted third party(escrow). All important details such as password will be changed. If lender defaults loan, account credentials will be changed and lender can use or sell it.

Hello all,

I have installed on my super fast server Bitcoin Core I believe this is called a 'Node'.

Do you get rewarded with Bitcoins for running this? If so how...

Many Thanks,

Make sure you have opened outbound connections and firewall is not blocking it. Else, it is not a node. See https://bitcoin.org/en/full-node. And no, you won't get any reward for running Bitcoin core.

What is ponzi? I'm a newbie too and I've been seeing this word a lot. Is it like a scammer website?

A scam involving paying off money to old investors with new investors' money. Eventally the last group of people paying into the scam never get their money back.

Want to read more? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ponzi_scheme

Oh, got it. So would that mean that an ordinary scamming website isn't labeled as a "ponzi scheme"?

It means most ponzis won't tell they are ponzis in their website. They will come under different names.
1486  Other / Meta / Re: VOD should be removed from default trust for systematic abuse of his position on: June 03, 2015, 06:45:33 PM
This is the best news I've heard all day.

Pitty the -neg will stay, but if he is no longer in default trust surely that will go too??

If Vod is not in default trust list, his feedback will still be there but won't affect your trust rating.
1487  Other / Meta / Re: better feedback on report accuracy on: June 03, 2015, 06:44:13 PM
I frequently watch the modlog for any bans/deletions when an action does appear on there

Doesn't modlog only show nukes and not time bans?

Yes. Only permanent bans.
1488  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: CloudThink.IO removed management pictures after being caught with stealing on: June 03, 2015, 06:42:58 PM
i confirm $150 as commission from cloudthink

i also have a package from them which is great! you should all reconsider

I'm confused. Why did you get a commission? You don't seem to be a part of their affiliate program or their signature campaign. Do you work in their sales department?

Because he is a puppet account of cloudthink.io and they forgot to add the signature before posting here? Might be, don't you think?

That's rather obvious (except as the following post points out, newbies don't carry signatures). So, the question remains. Where did the commission come from.

Probable alt/shill account. I don't think there is a need for discussion until he provide TXID.
1489  Other / New forum software / Re: Public ban list on: June 03, 2015, 06:31:46 PM
I always wondered if there was a way to know if someone is banned since most signature campaigns say that if you get banned you will be disqualified, how do they know? If you post the minimum posts that week and you get banned there is no way for them to notice, right?

Permanent bans will be shown in seclog but for temporary bans, they need to contact admins. Nowadays, it is not that hard to find because most people appeal in Meta.

1491  Economy / Long-term offers / Re: Looking for a 3.2 BTC loan, long-shot but only place I can req. on: June 03, 2015, 06:15:18 PM
I don't really know why these newbies make new stories and post loan request with a hope that they will get a loan? Only thing they get is a negative trust Tongue

Right? I must be really desperate to scam for what? $700? Sure, no. New stories? Would you like me to provide my brothers birth certif and all the payments I made to my driving instructor?

P.S - I can show you over 10 BTC exchanges when dealing with an amount larger than 5 BTC, could of easily scammed. Two exchanges being 10.5 BTC. Yet nope... not one scam just valid exchanges.

Lenders need a valid collateral to loan big amounts to untrusted borrowers.

Ok, but I don't know what I could give as a collateral? If I had items I was just willing to sell to get the amount desired.... I would sell the items instead of request a loan. Maybe I can find some physical items that would be a half decent collateral?

Collateral from an untrusted borrower needs at least to be worth the money he/she take. So please provide collateral worth the value of the amount you borrow. Physical goods aren't good collateral and it maybe hard to find a borrower who accepts it.

So what you're saying is: I have to have an collateral available which MUST be digital that is worth 3.6 BTC? This is impossible for me at least. Can you name me something that could be worth 3.6+ BTC that's digital?

You can provide multiple items which is worth at least 3.2BTC. I never said "an" item.
1492  Economy / Lending / Re: ★[No Collateral]★[No Interest]★ Offering Micro-Loans To Everyone! on: June 03, 2015, 05:59:42 PM
Hi Zakir,

As this thread subject states you are offering loan with no collateral and no interest. No offense but why are you doing this, i mean there will be defaulters who will be taking the advantage of this. Don't this give loss to you. i am just curious to know. Though i have just read few posts from your thread. Thanks

I review user and will only accept who I trust. I do ask collateral if I don't trust borrower. Defaulters are there and that's the risk I have to take when providing this service.

1494  Other / Meta / Re: Default Trust Visualisation [Picture Heavy] [3rd June] on: June 03, 2015, 05:54:10 PM
A lot of people are really resistant to default trust being expanded. I remember when philipma was added, there was immediately a thread in meta about how he needed to cull his list because some weren't worthy, and he consented. But he was added with that trust list already in place, so it obviously wasn't seen as a problem.

Well, philipma took the time to review his trust list and he pruned it. That was a good thing. I think he didn't know about trust system before being added on default trust list.

Stumbled upon this site, scrypt.cc

the question is, is it legit? and if it is legit, is it worthy?

It's a ponzi, a scam and a virus. They will steal everything you send them. Well, maybe not everything, but the bigger part. I would think they are in the final stages of collapsing. Definitely not worth the risk now. Even if somebody had roi, you are very late to the ponzi.

Uh, what the hell are you talking about?
Do you even know what a virus is...?
Please do not make any baseless statements based on your own limited knowledge, just to earn more for your signature campaign. scrypt.cc is one of the oldest cloud mining sites....

I don't think I should answer to an ignorant shill like you (unless you're trolling that you think it's legit), but yeah, of course I know what a virus is. I was just making a joke referencing to a well known Staff member -ck comment about eobot cloudming where he told smth like that Wink
Please do not make any baseless statements based on your own limited understanding on the comments of other members Wink
And stop shilling for scrypt.cc, because it is almost a definition how a ponzi and a scam looks like. It will soon collapse, nobody invest there unless you want to lose money!

I really am amazed. Where have I stated that scrypt.cc is not a ponzi or a scam? If you bothered to read my statement properly, you would realize that all I stated is that it is one of the oldest cloud mining sites.
You cannot say that something is a scam unless its proven. All you can say is that it is likely to be a scam.
The one who is making a baseless statement is you. Accusing me of shilling is a very severe accusation, and I'd suggest that you should keep your mouth shut unless you know what you are talking about.
If what you said was "It's very likely to be a ponzi", then I would have not answered you in any way, shape or form. However, making things up so that people stay away from something when you aren't sure of the facts is ridiculous.

it is one of the oldest cloud mining sites. - It is very wrong statement, friend! This statement is equal to saying "this is not a ponzi".

No, it does not. Read the OP.

Take PBmining,  they have been around since the beginning of 2014 and havent failed to pay so far. Does that prove its not a ponzi? Hardly. Based on their own stats, in the past month they sold ~1.5  PH worth of contracts. Good for around ~2200 BTC. During that same month they paid around 1600 BTC in dividends. A net profit of  ~600 BTC or nearly a 1/4 of a million dollar. Just for running a website. So the fact they are still paying out doesnt prove they are legit, its actually far more likely they are still paying out because it maximizes their profits ( update: pbmning meanwhile collapsed: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=887871  qed.).

Of course that cant last. At some point the new sales will slow while the owed dividends keep going up. Once the latter becomes bigger than the former, guess what the anonymous operator will do? The same thing lunamine, coinsoncloud, pirate, bitcoin-trader and countless other (mining) ponzi's before did.
It is not an incorrect statment. It has been around for more than a year, and it is one of the oldest cloud mining sites.

What you are saying is that it is one of the oldest cloud mining sites which definitely is not what it is. Hope you understand what I am telling.

Added Deadley to the poll not only because of his awesome trade streak but also because he deserves a spot.

What is this trade streak I keep hearing about exactly?

Probably,

-snip-
Rules to be nominated :

10 positive trade streak -
Which means trust score gained by personal grudge/favoritism wont be counted and it's a streak, implying you werent neg'd by someone recently (up to 10 trades in the past)

Hello,

When you make a new acusation you also need some prof
Anyone can say something about someone without prof
Also check how to make a scam report
This one is not valid

See https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=260073.0 to make valid report.
