 Maintenant que tu en parle c'est vrai qu'ils sont étonnamment anciens ! Je suppose c'est le marketing "agressif" qui peut faire toute la différence ou pas peut-être!  Ouais je crois qu'ils sont en ligne depuis 2013/2014? Pas certain de la date. Les volumes en général semblent assez bons, si l'on compare aux autres swap et services de ce type, c'est dans la moyenne haute. T'as raison, sur le forum il doit y avoir une vraie différence selon le type de promo qui est faite. Et globalement, quand tu vois les captures d'écran que beaucoup postent ici, tu comprends qu'une grosse partie du forum utilise Binance et Coinbase, et que la plupart ne sont pas très intéressés par la protection de leurs données du coup. Ça dépend toujours des communautés, pour prendre un exemple connu, sur certains sous-forums Dread le service est globalement plus connu et utilisé. Ici il y a une majorité US, qui souvent ne veut peut-etre pas prendre de risques avec l'IRS et préfèrent utiliser des CEX régulés |

I guess he sent you a collateral equivalent to the amount borrowed?
If so, insofar as you sold the XMRs, you should be fine, you got back your 120 usd, as he missed the repayment on time.
Why don't you just ignore his request? He got his 120 usd from the loan, and you got it from the sale of XMR ; otherwise what's the point of the collateral?

Do any of you have any projections for when you think BTC will stop being mined? Or do you think that BTC will be mined like .00000000009? at a time?
 BTC will never stop being mined, transactions will always need to be included in blocks, and when BTC won't have any block rewards left, miners rewards will be the transaction fees only. (You should open a new topic, as it is off-topic here) |

Back on the nerdminer thing, as long as it seems to be non-profit, can you elaborate on your reasons for not translate it paid2? I've only skimmed the topic but it seems (at first glance) that it is a small community project.
Yeah I have nothing against the project itself, but it is totally useless to make people buy / run a nerdminer. I solo mine with all kind of ASICs, so I understand the goal of the project and don't talk about "profit". But even from a mining perspective, they are useless, almost no pool will accept them as they will use a lot of ressources for producing almost no work. I am not the only one saying this. You can read what ck (which is the co-dev of cgminer and who runs solo.ckpool, probably the most legit guy when we talk of solo mining imo) said about them: Nerdminers are toys and not meaningful miners, and their hashrate is so ridiculously low that the pool will never register a hashrate for them.
I think that we could ask to kano, mikey, philipma, or any miner other here, all of them would agree with the above statement. People will learn the same things (so basically how to run cgminer and use a BTC pool/solo pool) with a Bitaxe, or a Gekkoscience product. But at least, you will have a chance so submit a share able to find a block, at least you will have a "BTC solo loterie". Why would we use a x kh/s miner not able to submit shares to most of the pools? It is like mining BTC with a CPU, no one would do that in 2024. Nerdminers aren't cheap if we compare with Bitaxe. I prefer to spend some sats to buy a product from sidehack (gekkoscience) or to skot (bitaxe), at least they are working on something useful for home miners and hobby miners, useful for the BTC community. |

Et si on veut faire l'inverse ? En voulant importer un vieux wallet à partir d'une clef privée au format legacy (commençant par 5); avec la commande importprivkey (..) j'ai ce retour :
" Only legacy wallets are supported by this command (code -4) "
J'ai essayé de creer un wallet legacy avec "getnewaddress legacy"; mais quand ensuite je veux à nouveau importer ma clef privée j'ai le meme message d'erreur.
Une clé qui commence par 5, c'est du WIF pas compressé si je ne dis pas de conneries? Pourquoi ça baisse ? Je vois 4 raisons possibles: - Prise de bénéfices - Arbitrage en faveur de l'ETH qui devrait à son tour bénéficier d'un effet "buy the rumor" (ETF en mai ?) - Vente de btc pour acheter des ETF à la place - On a expliqué aux gens que ça baisserait à cause de l'effet "sell the news". Donc les gens vendent (possible intox) J'ai aussi lu qu'il fallait 90 jours aux US pour pouvoir modifier la composition de certains portefeuilles, peut-être que l'ETF était déjà "priced in" et que le gros des mouvements arrivera après ces 90 jours ? Je ne sais pas dans quelle mesure c'est vrai, je n'ai pas d'investissements aux USA, et je ne m'y intéresse pas sérieusement. Ça me semble juste énorme comme délai.
En tout cas, on ne peut pas se plaindre, un BTC entre 40 et 45k a quelques milliers de blocks du halving, ça sent quand même bon |
