Franchement je ne sais pas trop quoi en penser. Interdire de mentionner le nom de mixeurs me semble clairement exagéré, mais je ne sais pas quel compromis serait le plus approprié, préservant à la fois la liberté d'expression et la pérennité du forum.
Je pense au compromis d'établir clairement la responsabilité des managers pour qu'ils surveillent qui sont leurs clients. J'insiste, mais 90% des mixers n'intéressent pas les services de renseignement, tous ne sont pas exposés de la même manière et pour les mêmes raisons.. |

If we want to abuse language and play with words, we could start from the principle that we are all bitcoiners here (apart from a few newbies, perhaps?), and that following this logic, anything written by one of us here represents an interest for bitcoiners, since only bitcoiners write on this forum...  In the case of the topic mentioned by Halab, we can assume that the topic is of interest to bitcoiners, as some of them post there on a daily basis... |

Thanks. Sig campaigns helped me stack sats my bitcoin balance's BTC0.02487037. Some ppl don't get the chance but thanks to icopress I've received BTC0.01589 that's $600 for 9 weeks in UniJoin's sig campaign as Full Member. That's a good sum to help when bad days show in your life. I'm hopeful I'll get jobs soon because if I'm paid in bitcoin I'll be able to stack more sats. You are doing good, keep stacking and DCAing, keep up the good work!
I spent 15 weeks in this campaign, and it was clearly an extremely well managed campaign. But there's still a month to go to promote good services! We'll see what the future holds in terms of campaigns, but in any case I hope icopress finds other services to promote. I sincerely hope that mixers won't suffer too much from this loss of communication vector. |

Merci pour ta réponse. Au-delà des satoshis hebdomadaires, je pense qu'il y avait un juste milieu qui n'a pas été trouvé par l'admin. Maintenant c'est trop tard, mais la situation aurait dû/pu être mieux gérée depuis la fin de Chipmixer. Tous les mixers n'intéressent pas les services de renseignement de la même manière..... On est quand même nombreux à avoir vu le truc venir avec Sinbad depuis des mois ( JG, moi-même, et quelques autres que j'ai zappé). À mon humble avis, il aurait été plus juste que ça soit la responsabilité des managers : par exemple R777 savait comme tout le monde depuis au moins le mois de juillet que Sinbad apparaissait dans tous les rapports d'analystes de blockchains type Chainanalysis pour des liens avec des hackers NK, et des pays sous sanction US (Heil Biden!). À partir de ce moment-là, tout le monde sait qu'ils vont tomber et que ça fera du bruit, donc je trouve qu'il aurait dû etre de sa responsabilité d'arrêter de bosser pour eux (J'ai arrete de promouvoir Sinbad pour cette raison en juin). Maintenant, avec autant de précédents (Chipmixer, Sinbad, et bettercallraul qui a feinté sa saisie..), il n'est clairement plus possible de revenir en arrière et d'imaginer une telle solution. Il aurait été peut-être malin de penser à ça après le « scandale » Chipmixer, et ne pas tout faire à la hâte après un second scandale ultra-prévisible... Mais je ne suis pas theymos, je n'ai pas toutes les infos et encore moins la responsabilité du site. Au fond rien à branler, mais je sais de quelle manière r/Bitcoin sur Reddit est tenu (par le même admin que Bitcointalk pour ceux qui ne sont pas au courant). Et petit à petit Bitcointalk prend la même direction que r/Bitcoin ; qui depuis quelques années est à gerber en termes de libertés : tu te fais ban quand tu prononces les mots interdits (XMR, ETH, BCH!!) ou quand tu ne suces pas Saylor. Je trouve ça juste dingue qu'on ne puisse pas héberger Bitcointalk ailleurs qu'aux USA, tout comme je trouve ça dingue qu'une seule et même personne prenne absolument toutes les décisions pour les principaux canaux de discussions sur BTC... Les canaux de communication autour de BTC auraient bien plus besoin de décentralisation que BTC lui-même. |

Je ne suis pas suffisamment connaisseur de la technique pour apporter des réflexions utiles.
Ah ben je ne suis pas un expert non plus. Il s'agissait plutôt d'un ressenti, mais je n'ai plus d'exemples spécifiques en tête. Des fois, il y a des mails de la bitcoin-dev mailing list dans lesquels des users font des propositions intéressantes. Je n'arriverai pas à en citer de tête, car c'est souvent "poussé" techniquement parlant, mais en fouillant on peut vite trouver des propositions axées sur la protection de la vie privée: https://lists.linuxfoundation.org/pipermail/bitcoin-dev/Ah non j'étais pas au courant  (edit: si, en fait j'ai lu un truc vite fait sans tout comprendre y a quelques jours)C'est chaud, non ? Oui, c'est vraiment emmerdant. À moyen terme, il est certain que ça va avoir des conséquences sur le hashrate et sa répartition, même si tant qu'on reste en zone grise, les changements ne seront surement pas trop lourds. Par exemple, Antpool commence déjà à demander des KYC, ça ne fait que commencer...  Pour les small/medium range farms (0,5 - 3 Mw grosso modo), il va falloir soit se délocaliser, soit revoir sa copie de A à Z. Les plus grosses boites qui ont souvent plus de 1 eh/s pourraient toujours solo mine et avoir des blocks régulièrement, s'ils osent travailler dans l'illégalité (donc non). Cela va au-delà du principe de l'acceptation du KYC, ce qui chiffonne les miners c'est d'être potentiellement dans l'illégalité s'ils acceptent des transactions d'adresses flagged "sanctionned country", ou flagged par un algo AML / CTF, et c'est très réaliste comme scenario... J'ai adoré ce business, c'est constamment en mouvement, et plein de surprises. Mais la dernière année m'a conforté dans mon choix d'arrêter au prochain halving. Je vais continuer à miner en solo pour le principe, mais je souhaite bon courage pour les 5 ans qui viennent aux entreprises situées aux US, en Europe (pour les 6 ou 7 qui ont survécu pour le moment), et même en Asie, ou des mesures anti-privacy émergent de plus en plus. Il faudrait un topic entier pour en discuter, de nombreux acteurs importants du mining commencent à s'alerter : on risque d'avoir un 50-60% de hashrate Americain "honnête" (KYC et AML/CTF friendly) et de voir le reste en Russie/UAE (ou d'autres pays moins regardants) par exemple. Ce n'est pas un problème en soi, warum nicht, mais il faudrait savoir comment on peut contribuer à la décentralisation de BTC en filtrant les transactions qu'on accepte dans un block... Quand une grosse partie (ou même majorité) du hashrate aura pour consigne de filtrer des transactions, on aura de bonnes raisons de déprimer. (même si encore une fois, c'est déjà le cas, mais à très petite échelle pour le moment) On a eu Binance qui a bouffé les autres CEX, qui hold 10% de la total supply de BTC (on ne mentionnera pas les altcoins..), qui possèdent les données et KYC de la majorité des utilisateurs de cryptos du monde, et qui ont influencé le secteur en créant un quasi-monopole. Il y a peu de raisons que Foundry ou Antpool, ou d'autres ne deviennent pas l'équivalent de Binance mais dans le milieu des mining pools... |

there's a lot of work to be done and these copy cats hopefully don't multiply anymore. Although the recent announcement does not look good at all for mixers advertised on the forum, I believe that we can still give a hand of help to UniJoin until the end of the year, in trying to get rid of its copycats. We should bear in mind that, by doing so, we are helping users, in fact, not just the company. This is because we can help others from not being scammed by phisihing websites. I know that the news came as a shock for some which really depended on the money paid by mixers signature campaigns but this should not stop us from trying to protect other people by reporting fraudulent, imposter websites. Absolutely Gazeta! But, as far as I know, we will still be able to talk about the great articles provided by Unijoin, no ?  I am sure that we won't be banned if we talk about interesting articles! |

Je déterre un vieux sujet, mais je me demande comment la mempool peut être de 1,3 Go alors que la limite normale est de 300 Mo maximum. Si quelqu'un a une explication, je suis intéressé. https://mempool.space/fr/300 MB n'est pas une fatalité absolue, c'est juste le standard. Chaque nœud peut choisir le volume de sa mempool et il n'y a en théorie pas de limites d'un point de vue logiciel: Although there is no maximum size, nodes can set size limits for mempools. This limit is usually 300MB. Once the mempool reaches this limit, nodes may allocate a minimum transaction fee. Any transactions that do not meet this limit will be removed from the mempool. Additionally, transactions will be prioritized based on transaction fees. This helps miners choose prioritized transactions. For my part, I'm "praying" that a bull will bring us more BTC-oriented conversations in FR section, that would be nice. Are there no limits to everything, even here on Bitcointalk ?

FYI Bitcointalk.org is not a darknet site. Linking to illegal services is not allowed. As mentioned in the law-enforcement press release, "a cryptocurrency mixing service is not necessarily illegal." But a seized mixer is rather different from just any old mixer. Sinbad, if still operating, is now clearly a darknet site, and therefore not allowed on bitcointalk.org.

I read the news and it is true that the SinBad service has been seized by the FBI, Dutch and Finnish police.
And Sinbad was sanctioned by the US Treasury Department for North Korea's so-called Lazarus Group.
This article also mentions the signature campaign escrow address that still holds 0.35 and has received 15 BTC.
It is also said that the store is processing the mixed proceeds from the Horizon Bridge and Axie Infinity hacks.
This is very sad for the community. (But still, what a stange way to announce it on the forum, I am still surprised.) However, this should be a reminder for all mixing services users, to always use Tor. The whole Sinbad story was very predictable. I've started to think that their time was counted some months ago, after reading Chainanalysis report: Sinbad, one of the market leaders in the mixer's industry, attracts a lot of attention (that's why I stopped promoting their service), and I personally think that this is not to the users' advantage. Just read the latest Chainanalysis report and see how they are cited as the mixer the most used by North Korea to launder stolen funds for example. If your mixer's name appears in a lot of reports, how can you be 100% confident with the idea of mixing your coins via their service (especially for those selling them to a CEX at the end) ? From my point of view, I'd be worried about mixing large quantities of coins via a service that gets so much notice and noise.
