There is sometimes a little latency but if you did everything correctly it should get in to the "Paid" status soon.

Hello fellow miners. Just got into mining myself recently and took the dive on my first S9 today. I placed the order, received the email from Bitmain, sent my BTC to the address they specified, but my order is still showing as "unpaid" with 0 BTC confirmed. Could this be due to the Chinese New Year? What has your experience been with Bitmain in this regards? FYI, I did submit a sales tickets already, but auto-gen email said they are closed until Feb 1 - so I'm asking "the pros" here. Thanks for the info! -Newb It takes some time for the transaction to get confirmed. Did you put enough of transaction fee?

I don't know how Sidehack is going to sell them, but I just want to be clear that I'm interested in four boards, so if one kit includes two boards that means I'm interested in two kits.

I'm interested in 4x s1 upgrade boards.

Yeah you will most likely need a own chain for each miner type. But they should work with the same raspberry pi.
edit: except the 721 and 741 are able to work in the same chain

With the newest software, based on the code, you should be able to run A4, A6, A721 and A741 with the same raspberry pi.

Most batches have been released for sale at 23:00 Beijing time (GMT +8) and friday has been a quite frequent day.

Be careful. Better options would most likely be buying A4 Dominator by Innosilicon or Antminer L3 by Bitmain. Volcano's were cancelled before mass prodcution began so there are none of these machines in existence, especially not on AlIExpress.
This is a quote from a legendary member at 2015, see this thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1150877.0

Any idea on whether they'll accept bitcoin for payment? I didn't order the 721's after people were stating that they required bank wire. Just curious if they've resolved this -- cannot find an answer on their website.
They did accept BTC for 721 orders eventually.

Hello Everybody, I'm new posting here but not new to bitcoin. Is there anybody out there who knows how to contact jabberwock to buy some of his great boards? I know there's Holybitcoin.com selling the products but since I'm living in France, it makes sense that I buy its directly from jabberwock himself since he's french too. Thank in advance for your answers. Keep Mining!!! Send him a personal message here at the forum.

Are they trying to get rid of their B stock chips by creating another product?
This could very well be one of the reasons.
|
|
|
It's like the late-S7 batches. The same miner with less chips, little less effiency.
The S9 had 2 fans too..

1 confirmation at the moment.

With that budget, I suppose you could buy either Antminer S7-LN by Bitmain or Avalon6 by Canaan Creative, for example. Second-hand units of those miner models can be found for example here at the forum. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=75.0I recommend to use an escrow for the purchase. I highly recommend that you calculate your monthly cost for running a miner and use a calculator to estimate if you could make a profit.
|
|
|
Well good for you, but no one here is going to pay that crazy price.
|
|
|
Please put some effort and look the threads around here. shop.bitmain.com is a good place if you want to buy a Antminer R4 and supposedly they will have S9 in sale again sometime in the future. canaan.io if you want to buy the AvalonMiner 721. For you mr. Unacceptable I must say that all the thrash talk for Mikestang is giving me a headache and I can't believe I'm seeing that kind of behaviour from a legendary member..

The three month warranty is a deal breaker for me I will have to pass. If a year warranty parts and labor was offered no problem.
The warranty is now 180 days, which is a half year.
