may want this. this is not the s7ln correct?
This is 135 chip Antminer S7, so batch 8 or later S7 (nominal hashrate 4.73Th/s). Are you going to fire up this with the Enermax PSU from the group buy we had if you deside to buy this Phil ? See my setup with the 1000W Enermax for reference: https://i.imgur.com/nTrVE4e.jpghttps://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1608658.016I used 1x 16AWG PCI-E splitter to have a total of 6x PCI-E for hashboards and 1x PCI-E for the controller. Everything is divided evenly between 3pcs. 12V rails, so the overload protection would not be a problem (they are separate rails only in sense of overload protection). Sorry OP for bashing in to this thread, but I thought maybe this would be useful info

I have a feeling that these latest batches are quite limited in quantity.

There is a calculator for every cryptocurrency, you simply need to have your numbers and put a little effort to it.
Most ASIC hardware (SHA 256) miners are mining Bitcoin at the moment. Most GPU miners are mining Ethereum at the moment.

I wish you all the best, but remember that I recommended on waiting for the R4 or the AvalonMiner 7.0 Less-noise-choice.

It seems like the autotune frequencies are programmed in to the PIC in the hash boards. I tried the new firmware October 27 in my S9, batch 2 and all it tried based on the kernel log was 600Mhz all over again et. This means that the autotune frequencies are only available in the newest batches.

.12USD per kWh is too expensive in a long run. You'll never make ROI.

We have almost got rid of the red color in stats again Nice!

The loudness is one hell of an annoying factor in the S9 if you are planning to run it in your dorm. I would suggest waiting for the sales of Antminer R4 by Bitmain or AvalonMiner 7.0 by Canaan Creative (AvalonMiner7.0 is not yet released and we can't be sure about the noise, but Avalons have been reasonable in the sense of noise in the past).
Great. And I thought the S7's were loud... are the S9's even louder, by a lot? The same or maybe a little louder.

This miner was a huge failure was it even ever released? Not that anyone even cares now that its totally unprofitable lol
It was released for real, I've seen few used ones in sale here at the forum.

They keep releasing new firmware almost every day? I tried the October 25 one in my S9, batch 2 because it has problems reaching the nominal 12.93Th/s hash rate. The update was no good for my miner. I usually need dosens of restarts with the miner to reach the nominal hash rate.

Those kind of look like Antminer S1 heat sinks or am I just seeing things?
|
|

You can't choose a PSU that is able to provide less wattage than it is needed to run Antminer S9. For example the S9 12.93Th/s version takes 1275W (12 VDC).
Choose for example 1500W EVGA or Bitmain APW5.

Okay, now this is a nice surprise! Is there an estimated release date, price?

Anyone tried to overclock this one above 650? I have mine running very cool so was thinking if it would stand a little overclocking. What do you think?
1. Remember that you are voiding the warranty 2. There could be some stability issues 3. If you are in safe zone temperature wise and don't have to worry about the warranty any more, go ahead carefully.

Sorry, but this does not make any sense and there is no miners with a wallet in them.

Escrow is fine via OgNasty or Philipma1957, for example.
edit: Buyer pays for the escrow (escrow usually wants only 1% fee).
