1621  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: FastCash4Bitcoins (Update: more bank funds added ... PayPal coming) on: April 05, 2013, 02:41:33 AM
ACH and PAYPAL out of funds. Any approx time they will be funded again?
Thanks.

Bank funds have just been added. PayPal provides an ETA of 04/04 so we should have more funds available "today" but I can't be more specific than that.

I just checked for ACH and funds out again. Are the funds just selling out real quick?
Thanks.
1622  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: 19 hours and still no confirmations on: April 04, 2013, 07:44:35 AM
Is there anyway to add a fee to that transaction so it can be "pushed" somehow?

I think that its possible for the owner of a mining 'pool' to push a transaction through, but its rough and admin type work. So what you have to do is just wait it out. It WILL come through, but sometimes even if you add a mining fee the transaction gets "stripped" of its fee because of some bug or another random happenstance. Ehh, such is life.

In the mean time wondering what time means.

I had to wait about 6 or 7 hours. The service I used to buy the bitcoin got a hold of the mining pool that had the transaction and somehow was able to get the transaction confirmed. I'm curious as to how you can tell which mining pool has the transaction. In the end, it worked out ok and I only had to wait a little bit.
1623  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: How many sites are there to view the blockchain? on: April 04, 2013, 07:41:52 AM
If you go to http://qcl.me/gweedo there even more block explorers listed there.

Thanks. I didn't realize how limited in viewing the blockchain really is with using a web browser. I wonder if there is a way to tap into the bitcoin network via SSH or something and view all the data scroll by on the screen. Kind of like using the tail command.

If you want you can tail your log file if you run a bitcoind or bitcoin-qt
Code:
tail -f ~/.bitcoin/debug.log

I'm using Windows here, but there must be a way to view the live blockchain data right? I mean if bitcoind connects to it, then a regular terminal program should be able to right? Also, this is all out of curiosity. I'm not looking to do anything malicious or negative here.

1625  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Announcement] Avalon ASIC Batch #1 Ships on: April 04, 2013, 07:23:00 AM
annoys me to know one guy in China does not have his unit, and many others have more than 2, how is this protecting the network?

After increasing their price from $1500 to $5000-$7000 or whatever it ended up being is very blatantly not trying to protect anything except filling their pockets with money. It baffles me the hundreds of thousands of dollars these guys received and can't even hire some kid to help with at least simple customer service responses and paper work. Just wait until more units are out in the wild and some start to  break or have problems. Good luck with getting help. "But I paid $6000 for it", so what, we don't have customer service. Smiley

Ahh yes, that's what I was looking for. I'm always forgetting about that wiki site because it ends in *.it. Throws me off.
Thanks!

1628  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: blockchain.info transactions unconfirmed on: April 04, 2013, 07:05:48 AM
There was something weird going on yesterday. Even transactions that had fees included weren't being picked up. My transaction was eventually resolved by great customer service.

Love these guys. Worked with me through some problems that happened out of everyone's control. Very reliable service. Can't say enough how happy I am that I found them.

1631  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: New PrimeAsic Demonstrating The Miner They Sell on: April 03, 2013, 09:47:17 PM
He's in on this scam for sure - we need to get this prick the scammer tag before anyone else loses their coins, I suggest everyone report him to the moderators.
FOr the 1000000th time I sell no machine nor do I advise to buy ntill I POST WORKING TRACKING!
Hellooooooo.
Sounds like part of the scam?
Did you not see the email I showed with the tracking from them?
Duhhhh
Cant fake it man.
Thanks for making me look like an idiot.
Dork

Hey Bitcoin Computer, I have a couple of high GH/s ASIC miners right here with me. I can't sell them all, but I can sell you one. But you need to send the bitcoin to me right away or lose out. The device is smaller then an Avalon but bigger then a butterfly, ooops forget that. Butterfly doesn't even have one. And it only takes 250watts. Runs very cool at 85GH/s and has only been tested with BitMinter pool. Soon as you send me the bitcoin, please message me with your name and address information and I'll get the unit right out to you. I'll send you a tracking number too when it ships out. I will warranty the unit for 1 year. If it cannot be fixed, I will replace it. Here is where you can send me the bitcoin.

Send me 70BTC to the address below. Don't miss out on this deal.
[Mod edit: address removed, the fake scamming is funny even without the address]
The price is pegged to USD because of the BTC ever changing market.
1632  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / How many sites are there to view the blockchain? on: April 03, 2013, 09:31:01 PM
I'm only aware of two.

Blockchain.info and Blockexplorer.com

Are there any other sites where you can view the bitcoin network via HTML? I certainly don't want to view it in raw letters and numbers. Smiley

1633  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: blockchain.info transactions unconfirmed on: April 03, 2013, 09:29:18 PM
It is strange indeed. It's been over 12 hours now, so I'm starting to worry...

I have seen others posting the same thing that had fees included and nothing being confirmed. Have you checked blockexplorer also?

1634  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: What's up with the chain today? on: April 03, 2013, 09:28:07 PM
Did you include a fee to get miners to include it in the block chain? If not it is less attractive and may take longer. Just a guess.

Yes, on top of a weird day the fee was forgotten so the transaction is just hanging out there with all its friends that forgot to include fees also. I've already lost a little...not much, but I was planning on spending it right away. Keeping my fingers crossed on a positive ending on this. Thanks.

1636  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: 19 hours and still no confirmations on: April 03, 2013, 08:55:33 PM
Fees    0 BTC

Should've thrown at least a satoshi in there

How can you actually tell there was a fee included or not?

I'm having the same issue.

0 Fee.

Ahh, ok. I got it. I just did the same thing for mine and there is no fee. So that's what is happening. Thanks, I never knew I could look that up.
1637  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for someone to create/modify software for this forum [3600+ BTC] on: April 03, 2013, 08:51:28 PM
I'm confused. Original post was over 2 years ago and nothing was ever done? Looks like someone likes to hold onto bitcoin!

In two years you could have had a complete custom software written to exact specifications with anything and everything that was needed. Instead we get maybe a couple of add-ons, which are free to install and not even the latest version of the free forum software SMF.

Come on, lets get this place updated and make it look nice with the half million dollars the forum has. Whoo hoo.

If you are scared by a lagging Trade engine and are Not considering other exchanges then Please SELL get out and stick with monopoly Money.

Why are some people just a dick?
1639  Economy / Service Discussion / Does MT GOX offline mean people will sell? on: April 03, 2013, 08:42:25 PM
Prices were I think $130+ a little while ago and now all the news about MT.GOX being down is probably making everyone scared and probably trying to sell. Is this a temporary thing or will the price keep dropping you think?
