New Zealand batsmen were defeat by 13 runs.  If they had work hard and struggle and increase their pace the match would have been in their hands but their batsmen could not put in the effort and were play the match without interest so the match was bound to be lost.  West Indies are steadily increase their performance and try to win as many matches as possible and win matches too.  New Zealand are slowly lose their perform and losing matches.  Congratulations West Indies on the win and may they continue to play like this and win matches.  What good is a strong team when the team does not work hard and struggle and that what happen with New Zealand.  I am also sad but also happy that a weak team like West Indies will win the match.New Zealand should not lose their perform but they should work hard and struggle.

According to points table of Group C, New Zealand sqaud already eliminated from this Super Eight Round and this was decided in last match. But in yesterday match with Uganda squad, their performance was unbelievable and wonderful I know now this performance was useless. First New Zealand bowlers cleared out the wickets of Uganda batter very fastly and restrict them at low quality defeating target of total 40 scores. Just this batter Kenneth Waiswa was succeeded to collect above 10 plus scores (11) otherwise resting batters was lost their wickets just for fewer scores. Congrats New Zealand sqaud for this useless victory, in batting inning, 40 scores defeating target of Uganda sqaud was fastly achieved by New Zealand batter in 5.2 overs. Devon Conway displayed amazing performance with picking 22 scores and unbelievable shots. Some more matches were played today but most of them were finished without any outcome because of heavy rain.

New Zealand team lose the position in super 8 due to lack of performance. Players did not played with responsibility and New Zealand lose the match Against West Indies and Afghanistan. Due to losing two matches, New Zealand is out of the tournament. England team come back in this World and now the position of England team is stronger and they will play in super 8. I think this time we all have seen Saim Ayub's performance in this World Cup, Now have to give chance to him in the next series and try him in ODI because in this World Cup he is playing fully like a ODI match also we can try him in the test too but he was also not good there as we have seen his performance in the test match against Australia on 2023 December series. Now, I think they have to check him on the next PSL and in different leagues because he cannot play in green jersey or any international match.

Pakistan must face up to hard truths of modern T20

The point is that Pakistan team selection wasn't best for this World Cup as the selectors fail to understand that different players are suited for different formats of the cricket.

Since the beginning of the World Cup, we have discussed that West Indies could be the favorite as the host nation in this World Cup tournament. West Indies have multiple performers so if a reliable player is out, then all the other players do well. New Zealand had West Indies in their group Naturally we thought that New Zealand would be the group champions from this group and West Indies would secure the next round from the second position but look at the reality. New Zealand exited the group stage before the West Indies qualified for the quarter-finals. 

We didn't give much importance to Afghanistan before the start of the World Cup tournament but this Afghanistan now has a good enough position in the points table.

I agree that West Indies looked like a dangerous side at the very start of the tournament. Every player in the WI batting lineup is a match-winner, and we have seen it many times in T20 cricket. Rutherford single-handedly took the game away for NZ. New Zealand was very much in the game, but they lost back-to-back wickets and the match. New Zealand should have won against WI to make things more interesting.

The Afghanistan team surprised me the most in this year's T20 World Cup. They looked like a different team and won comprehensively against New Zealand. No one was expecting that Afghanistan would be the team which qualifies for the Super 8 from this group.

If it was ODI cricket then I wouldn't have considered West Indies as favourites, because in ODI games you usually don't bat against the batter, you have to be patient and stay on the wicket till 50. But since it is only a 120-ball game, a West Indies player can change any game in an instant. West Indies have included some veteran players in their squad which has added to the strength of their team. This team is a balanced team as it has good quality bowlers good quality batsmen and most of the time great fielding saves several runs which is a big advantage for the team. West Indies will be one of the favorites to win the World Cup trophy.

That is not possible. Pakistani Cricket board will shuffle the batsmans and bowlers and we will see a huge change in the performance of Pakistani team . I Know Pakistani team played very bad I last 2 to 3 months . They lost two series and then they lost the position in super 8. I think, Pakistani team can improve their performance and they will focus on their mistakes and they will emit it . Imad Wasim admitted his mistake against India when he didn't hit and only made 2 runs in the over. Then Imad Wasim out and Pakistani team lose the match due to great bowling of Bumrah. You are right,  but we can't give the credit to one or two players because when team wins the match whole team is appreciated and whole team wins due to whole team. No single can win to the game or tournament and I think, in the last match Afghanistan, whole team played very bad especially all bowlers because Afghanistan team strength is bowling and they could not win the match due to their batting. We saw a huge pump in the Afghanistan cricket due to great bowling. Five years ago , Afghanistan team were silent and nobody wanted to talk about Afghanistan team because they are mental players and they are hitters but cricket is a game of mind and that is not game of strength but that is game of technique.

In the final of European Qualifier A, he managed to hit 108 not out from just 55 balls, as Italy made a massive total of 244/4. They won the match by 160 runs against Romania. It needs to be seen whether Italy will qualify or not, as they need to finish among top-2 in the regional final.

Had Scotland qualified for Super8 in this year's T20 world cup (they came really close in doing that), then there was a good chance that Italy could have qualified for the next ICC T20 World Cup. But now they need to compete with both Netherlands and Scotland for the 2 spots from Europe region and there is only a small chance that they will be able to finish at top-2. Anyway, one thing that I liked about Italy is that 80% of the squad is comprised of native Italians, unlike the case with most of the other European associates.

England team will qualify for Semi final easily because it is best team for semi final and the combination of England team is top class , nobody can ignore England team in semi final. England team has capability to win the World Cup . Jos buttler is best player and I liked him very much and he play well in next match and he is match winner and he is player of big match.Jos Buttler can bend any match to it's side because he is hard hitter and he can hit long sixes.

Gibraltar women managed to become the champions in Women Central Europe Cup, 2024. A total of 3 teams participated in the tournament. Apart from Gibraltar, Czechia and Croatia were the other two teams. The good thing was that all the teams were dominated by native players (unlike the case with men's cricket in these countries). Czech Republic Women were captained by 16-year old Tereza Kolcunova, who managed to score a half-century in the match against Croatia women.

Anyone enjoyed the great game between West Indies and Afghanistan. I enjoyed this game and when the West Indies team was batting I felt like I was watching the highlight from Nicholas Pooran. Nicholas Pooran threw his all into the batting against Afghanistan but unfortunately fell short of his century by just two runs.
Afghanistan team has shown their bowling power in previous few matches but they could not do that against West Indies. The batsmen of the West Indies team batted over the bowlers of the Afghanistan team and scored more than 200 runs.
Afghanistan, on the other hand, were bowled out for just 114 runs against West Indies, their biggest upset and biggest defeat in this World Cup. Afghanistan's opening batsman Rahman Rahmanullah Groupbaz and middle-order batsman Najibullah Zadran were both dismissed for no runs. Due to such poor batting by these two, Afghanistan was forced to lose by more runs.

Yes, I have enjoyed the match very much. I think Afghanistan make the first mistake is winning the toss and decided to bowl first. Afghanistan bowlers didn't control the flow of runs and west indies batters especially Nicholas Pooran played really well he scored 36 runs in the 4th over of the match to Azmatullah Omarzai and runs started very fast for West Indies. Rashid khan Afghanistan captain didn't bowel well in this match considering too much runs 45 runs and didn't pick any wickets in his Bowling spell. Azmatullah Omarzai taking revenge by Nicholas Pooran run out at a score of 98 runs so close to a well-deserved Century. Afghanistan didn't start well of the batting innings giving easy wickets to Gudakesh Motie. I Think Now West Indies is the favorite team to win the World Cup this year.

West Indian team is most dangerous team of the World when it is in the form. I could not forget the T20 World Cup final of 2016 . West Indian Cricket team performance was excellent and West Indian team won the World Cup final against England team . Carlos Brathwaite  hit four sixes back to back in last over when team needed 4 sixes . That is my favorite match and I saw live match ball to ball. The point is when West Indian team is in form ,no team is dangerous than West Indies and when it is out of form ,it can lose the match against Zimbabwe and Ireland and Bangladesh team . Now, West Indian team is looking with full potential and they will win the World Cup.

Maybe the West Indies team is as strong as before in this year's T20 World Cup. Note that all the West Indies team is in a great rhythm at the moment and they are performing well wherever they are batting. Especially their team's wicket keeper batsman Nicholas Pooran has been playing brilliantly and he has been giving his impeccable batting performance in every match.
West Indies cricket team will face another strong test today against them in the second match of Super Eight today against another strong team England. West Indies won their second T20 World Cup by defeating England in the final. We will wait to see if the continuity of the West Indies team will be maintained today.

West Indies are definitely the strongest team in this season of T20 World Cup. West Indies will do even better as this World Cup tournament is being held in their home country. As the host country, the Caribbean will certainly want to take advantage of the conditions. Not only will they do well in their home country but they have included players in their squad who can single-handedly take the entire team forward. If West Indies don't make big mistakes in important matches and if they can play their normal game then definitely West Indies can play final in this World Cup tournament. West Indies beat England to win the historic World Cup trophy which we still remember and expect something similar in this T20 World Cup.
