actually i think the Bulls should try to get Derrick Rose back and let him retire as a Bull.  Lonzo isn't going to be coming back any time soon if at all since he is still having knee troubles.  Based on the reception he got vs. the Knicks I really wish they would do that.

I doubt if they gonna do that because it was their decision to trade him when he was making a name in Chicago Bulls but when multiple injuries caught him and they see that he no longer passed those acrobatics moves he once had, they traded him and he cried because the team was really mean a lot for him back then. You can see from an interview on Youtube that while being traded, he cried because it broke his heart really bad that time. Prime Derrick Rose was so amazing and he is the primary reason why the Bulls is a popular team back in the 2010s.

Despite the fact that Siakam was able to get around his countryman in scoring, this did not help Toronto beat Philadelphia. Thus, their winning streak increases to five victories, well, this is a very good result after three losses in a row. And the Lakers still can't find their game, Davis and Westbock are injured and it's having too much of an impact on the team.

That's unfortunate scene to see when he cry a lot after Bulls trading him and I doubt he will love to go there for what they done to him. But if fans will make this happen and Bulls will do it just for the hype then I think its still good recognition to him knowing he place the Bulls on good place when he is young and healthy.

There's a slim chance that this will happen but let see.

That would be nice gesture for the Bulls if they will sign Rose and let him retire with Bulls Jersey. During his era, he take the Bulls with so much success, he was only rookie when he already started carrying the team, but it's just unfortunate he was injured and things went dark afterwards.

76ers are in a winning streak while the Raptors are suffering the opposite.
They need to start winning or else their chances in the playoffs will drop, as for the latest standing, they are already in rank 10 with 6 losing streak, that's not good to be honest.

He almost brings the old glory back to Chicago after Jordan's era, become the youngest player to win the MVP award. It is something
that Chicago should give him that privilege of hanging his jersey with the team.

Still fresh in my memory how careless the coach back then, it was a blowout win already and DRose is no longer needed inside
the court.

But an accident really happened, and that injury bring the huge nightmare to DRose career. I'm also one of those fans who are looking
to see him wearing the Bulls uniform.

Can't change the past, maybe his time is just too short in NBA but we will never forget how he makes NBA more exciting to watch that time. He even gains lots of contracts outside the NBA, and that reward his greatness in basketball. Now, he is only a role player and we will never see the old DRose again.

If the old coach of the Bulls will come back, then most likely there's a good chance that he can convince DRose to come back.

I also agree, as much as we want Rose to retire with the Bulls or at least come back where he started his career, it doesn't make sense for them to get him back because he no longer in his prime.

And that is business though for the team, nothing personal as the time that when Rose was playing with team, he really made them great unfortunately, the team doesn't have that experience to go to the finals and then the unfortunate injuries happened to Rose. Still good though to see him play up to this day, but Bulls is not going to get him back anytime.

Toronto is missing that 1 main guy to get them over the hump.  For that 1 year Kawhi was that guy but not sure if he could have done it back to back since he is injured so much so it was best he left.  I think Toronto should give DeRozan another chance.   Siakam is very good but to me not a #1 guy but makes the perfect #2 guy.  Ideally if they could get Lowry and DeRozan back and keep Siakam somehow I think they could win another ring.

They need a healthy Davis and Westbrook for this team to succeed, they will struggle without the star players.

Injuries constantly haunt the Lakers, and that's their biggest problem. The outcome of the last game against the Suns is a perfect example of the fact that the Lakers can't do anything without LeBron, Davis, and Westbrook. However, LeBron and Westbrook's injuries seem minor, and they'll likely be back in the near future, while Davis' injury is a different story. As far as I know, the Lakers expected Davis to miss at least 1 month, but his injury turned out to be much more serious than just a sprain, and now his status has been changed to "indefinite."
Unfortunately, it looks like Davis will miss most of the regular season games once again, and this has happened to him for the 3rd season in a row.

I don't know if that's possible for a coach to comeback but glad to see him back at Bulls before he retires and see that jersey hanging on the arena. I think DRose has career waiting for him even if he retires early maybe we'd see him on the coaching career in the future, that's what I thought he'd gonna be, he's a good leader way back and such a humble guy.

i agree.  unfortunately it can't be helped.  if you get someone that big, that athletic it's going to put a lot of stress on parts of the body that weren't not originally designed to get that much stress.  Also age has to be factored and you have to factor in all those years of running up and down the court the body is going to start breaking down. lakers sold out for immediate winning of rings and have a very small window and limited talent if you take out Davis and Lebron.

In today's NBA, you can't expect the supposed dominating teams to have always smooth wins against the underdogs.

I agree with this statement. That is why we see underdogs upset the favorites. Every team in the NBA can beat a top team given the right circumstance.

The NBA nowadays is becoming more and more competitive and I love it. Underdogs nowadays like the Utah Jazz are not that easy to beat as they are still fighting for a top 8 spot. Upsets are normal though, especially in these regular games and it is still early season. The real games will be in the playoffs where defense is more serious and there is no relaxing until someone has a clear blowout lead.

As for my betting, it was the right decision to stay lie-low. Next year it will be interesting to track the top teams that are still out of the top 8 as they will play more seriously in order to proceed into the playoffs. Dallas Mavericks, for instance, I don't think they won't be able to play in the playoffs.

Warriors game later, like what Reggie Miller said, everywhere they go it's called the Warriors game, not the Knicks game in MSG or Lakers game in Crypto.com Arena. It's always going to be the Warriors game if they are up against them.
Now the big question. Can Jordan Poole repeat what he did against the Raptors or will this just be another game to give up without Steph Curry around?
I want to see a new face stepping up his game, maybe Moody, Lamb, or Kuminga. Just to fill the missing piece while their injured players are resting.

Jordan Poole is very talented but Curry is a legend who can do it night in and night out.  It takes years to get to that level.  It's one thing to be the 3rd option and get your shots in but when teams are game planning for you it's a whole different level which is why you need the superstar guys who can do it when other teams game plan to stop them. Any NBA level player can have a hot night but to do it every night is going to be hard.  Perhaps the best way for GS to pull it off is to have guys rotate and step up when teams key on Poole.

NBA taking a new measures as every team is getting serious with their performance inother to qualify with the best position. We usually experience big teams humilates the mediocre ones but it's getting rare these days to watch big clubs take advantage of the weak teams, its kind of interesting to watch both draw tie, rather the big teams will struggle to come out victorious or with a narrow win in the game. For instance, the underdogs are probably one of the team one wouldn't want to face in a game.

I think scoring isn't Westbrook's strong suit. Nevertheless, his ability to grab a lot of rebounds and make a lot of assists can be very useful for the Lakers, but only in those moments when Russ makes the minimum number of turnovers per game. As for Davis' absence, Thomas Bryant might partially replace him if he continues to perform as well as he did in the previous game against the Nuggets.

Strongest suit turnover, just kidding sorry for all Westbrick fans in here but I really don't see Russell Westbrick getting back to his prime and he will be the one that will get the Lakers to the top of the playoffs because that will surely go to Anthony Davis and Lebron James, but right now as Anthony Davis got an injury and n December 19, right now Austin Reaves, Russell Westbrick and LeBron James all injured and can not play, pretty much the Lakers right now got a huge problem, right now on the Lakers latest game I was amazed at Dennis Schroder taking up the role but it was not enough,

What kind of consistency are you looking for? Like 40+ a game? There's only a handful of players who can do that hehe. He seems the type of player that excels when he's given more chance or time with the ball so it's up to the coach to take advantage of that. Hard to come up with big numbers when he's not the main guy task with most of the scoring.

Poole has been pretty decent this month actually.

You are right, we can not always be hopeful for Poole to provide some game-changing points in every game, but right now Draymond Green also step up to the occasion aswell and gave 17 points in their latest game to win, and I think if not Jordan Poole there are Klay Thompson that could fire up in a game or two, you can never know if Klay Thompson could be effective in a game or not, but at least Jordan Poole and the rest is stepping up in Stephen Curry and Andrew Wiggins absence,

....
40+ night in and night out is tough to pull off even with the likes of Curry or any other legends. Jordan Poole is already doing 20 to 30 a night and has been consistent with that range lately.

It's one thing to be the 3rd option and get your shots in but when teams are game planning for you it's a whole different level which is why you need the superstar guys who can do it when other teams game plan to stop them.
Right but we already know the GSW system doesn't just rely on too many ISO plays. They are pretty good at ball distribution and setting up screens which allows many opportunities for open shots so any defensive plays aimed at stopping just one player like Poole isn't really going to work long-term.

Just want to update everyone in case you are asking yourself what the heck happened.
Why is he making a free-throw like a technical foul was called?
One of them is the "take-foul" call.
Recently one has happened and it got me questioning what really happened so I looked into the replay. I know the take foul as a "foul" which a player does to avoid a fast break(1) or if proven as clear path (2), they are now ruled like a technical foul where the player will shoot free throw and get possession.
But it stretches to the transition plays like this one that happened between the Cavs vs the Jazz.

5 Cavs players were actually down the other half of the court and LeVert fouled Markkanen intentionally, the reason may be to stop the play to happen while the defense is not yet set which is the reason why transition plays happens. To avoid the defense to set and the offense attacking while they are scrambled.

Just sharing some info. I hope it's helpful.

.... they are now ruled like a technical foul where the player will shoot free throw and get possession.
One of the approved rules in the NBA that actually makes sense. I'm glad they made changes and add a harsher penalty because the old one was just unfair. I wish they apply it to the whole period of the game and completely remove that "last two minute exception" which allows a take foul without a free throw penalty.
