I have a feeling that they probably not going to patch up their relationship on this issues specially if Ballmer is telling the truth that he didn't know anything about it. That is true, damage has been done already. Although Ballmer is one of the most animated owner when he watch the game. But he could be very well thinking that he should let go of Kawhi in which ever way he can.

In all fairness, Kawhi isn't exactly known for playing entire seasons in the NBA as of late (last year was a bit of a fluke that he was available at the end of the season) so I wouldn't say that the Clippers are relying on him to make the playoffs.  Something has to be done though.  The NBA is going to need to find someone to blame and Kawhi or Steve Ballmer are the obvious suspects.  Ballmer claims he was scammed, so if I were Kawhi I wouldn't be spending those paychecks at the moment.  This may end up being the biggest fine the NBA has ever levied.  We'll see...
