Not sure if I maybe missed this somewhere but is there a way to change to change to labels of the individual accounts?

There where it says 'Account#1' 'Account#2' etc...

This is not yet possible, but new version of myTREZOR which will be released soon will allow that.

Tried it in the latest version but there seems to be a bug. If I rename the first account the label sticks, if I however after that change the label of the second account the label on the first one changes back to the default name again. So not working as it should.

Could the issue with label recall be how/where that information is stored?

Either you own the bitcoins(private keys) or you don't. However with moneroj, nobody knows what you own.

https://mytrezor.com down ? Sad

Makes me consider Electrum even more, just not sure about the privacy that way.

If you want privacy, use Trezor on Android with Mycelium through Tor.

Rassad, so Mycelium servers can see all our tx's and balances, right?

The xpub keys don't get sent to Mycelium server. The account gets set up just like a normal Mycelium account, where all the information on it is only on your phone. It just asks you to plug in your Trezor when the wallet app needs to sign a transaction. Mycelium servers do see you broadcasting a transaction (use Tor), and can tell which addresses are yours when you update balances (again, use Tor), but so can any node you connect to with any SPV wallet. At least Mycelium doesn't log any transactions or balance requests, and as far as anyone else on the network knows, your transactions originated from Mycelium servers, not from your phone.

I have to say, Im thoroughly impressed w/ the trezor. Its become the only device / service that I fully trust w/ my bitcoin other than myself.
Ive not yet found anything worthy of that roll, till the trezor.

The idea of making as many hidden wallets I want w/ passwords thrills the hell outta me. Knowing my BTC are secure even in the event of theft / loss and not known to even exist is quite a feat. It could even function in that regard as both hot & cold storage wallets!

Also, knowing the entire thing is recoverable w/ a simple seed. Which, I would gather I could put anywhere, cuz once again, even if someone found it ... if they tried to use it, they would not see any funds unless they knew the exact passwords I used for my wallets.

It works flawlessly w/ my phone & mycelium as well... which is also awesome. Ive started using electrum as my bitcoin-core wallet replacement(took some getting used to but its working out well). Its nice to see a decent amount of addresses for each account in electrum so I know which ones are 'in queue'.
I still run bitcoin-core for full node support & my addresses are in there as watch only mode.

Overall very fucking impressive product! I think anyone serious about BTC should have one.

Its much better than the HW.1 & ledger products which Ive tried HW.1(same as ledger pretty much cept for software) ... they suck in comparison.

Thanks for your post GenTarkin - The multiple pass-phrase protected accounts are a great feature.

Just interested if you have ever tried (tested) recovering a Trezor wallet (pass-phrase protected account) via the seed that your Trezor gave you - to an ELECTRUM wallet?

Does Electrum support recovery of wallets (accounts) with Trezor pass-phrases? I know some wallets do not.  I assume each account will have its own seed?

Can you recover multiple hidden wallets each with their own passphrase into Electrum?

If you recover them to Electrum - does Electrum then use the Trezor pass-phrases as the password for each respective wallet?

What does Electrum do with the PIN from Trezor on wallets recovered into Electrum? Forget it - or maybe this becomes the Electrum password?

and alternatively

have you tested recovery of multiple pass-phrase protected wallets into Trezor via the seed?

Do you have to RESET the Trezor device to recover an account (thus losing the first or other accounts)? Or do you just unplug it between recovering each individual account? Then add the new account seeds until you have recovered them all?

Where does the pass-phrase and PIN work into all of this?  Will the recovered accounts be set up with the original pass-phrases and PINs?

Sorry - lot of questions but need to figure out all the pros/cons and potential issues.

can anybody answer some/all these questions from experience - i.e. from actually doing it?

Thanks - usukan

I have tried entering the 24 word key into another BIP32 compliant wallet (I used Wallet32 for Android, but any compliant wallet will do) and recovered the entire wallet, all accounts, all transactions - that is how it is designed.

That is the beauty of BIP32:  with just the 24 words + the password you can recover everything.  With the same 24 words + your second password you can recovery everything under that password, and so on for as many different passwords as you want.  When I say everything I mean all accounts and all transactions generated from that 24 word + password combination.

FYI the PIN number is a Trezor specific thing and is not needed for recovery.

If you lose your Trezor you just buy another one and enter your same 24 words and you are back up and running OR just enter your 24 words into another compliant wallet.

I think a lot of your questions are answered back a few pages.  Start here:

Thx for implementing multiple coin support including Litecoin and Namecoin directly in standard firmware!

yeah would be great, how would this work, i guess it is not possible to put wallets of different coins on the same trezor?

Check the emphasis. I don't think the link between your addresses are protected at all, they're just discovered in a different way (the same leakage any SPV mode entails)

Trezor is a great wallet.  I especially like the fact you can reconstruct your entire account and transaction history from the 24 word seed.  This makes backups easy (not needed).

I gave my parent's a Trezor to keep their Bitcoins.  Safe, secure, easy.
