I see the Genoil miner dag size benchmark shows no decrease in mh/s while claymore miner goes all the way down to lose almost 50% mining speed the higher you go.
Run Genoils miner benchmark and look how much vram it takes.

I have used the Genoil benchmark and the hashrate dropped. What command did you used?

Maybe I messed up command then entered from some post on another forum, must be bullsh#t.

Why Estimated earnings ETH Drop Every New DAG so quick for last 3 days?

My 4 rigs is working 550 Mh/s 3 days ago Month ETH earnings was 8.27 ETH but today it is 7.5 by Month.

Wil it goona drop so quickly like that ?

Difficulty is skyrocketing... 3 months ago 180 mh/s rig gave me almost 6 coins. Now 2.9 coins. Luckily price is holding strong, if price drops were fucked and gonna hafto switch.

Please read Readme and FAQ in the first post of this thread before asking any questions, probably the answer is already there.

im using the -logfile param to have a log of what is going on if the rig have to reboot cause of GPU error (testing phase for overclocking/undervolting) but it seems the logfile will be re-created after each miner-start ... the reference tells me that i would have to add "noappend" to the filename to get this behavior ... is there a bug probably?

so even if i dont reboot but stop and start the miner, the logfile is empty again ...

if i ssh into the rig and keep a terminal session open with a tail -f i can read the error when the rig is rebooting but thats not very handy ...

what im doing is:
Code:
-logfile ./logfile.log

put the new ethman in its own folder that was not in my regular miner av exclusion list (all miners go into a "_miners" folder which is excluded. so avast flagged it as "potentially suspicious". IDP.gerneric or some such.

uploaded it to virus total, says its fine (which i figured). just letting others know.

anyway heres the output.

@claymore can we add another pool txt file other than epools.txt and dpools.txt so for each coin they have their own txt file for pool list (for example dcr-pools.txt, sia-pools.txt, eth-pools.txt, lbry-pools.txt...), so when we need to change alt coin for dual mining, we just need to change -dcoin parameter on config.txt, without the need to update dpools.txt (which is used as alt-coin pools)

or another alternative is other than -dcoin param we should be able to specify -dpool-file param to point which pool.txt to use for alt-coin

just a suggestion it would be helpful tough

Hmmmm, still only getting around 2.5MH/s per NVIDIA GTX 1070 card on this Windows 10 64-bit rig.

Anyone encountered and solved this issue?

I have tried different driver versions, and updated Windows to the Creators Update, but still nothing.
I seem to be getting great hash speeds on Decred and with Zcash, but ETH just not working.

I tested one of the other cards in my Win 7 64 bit machine and got a cool 27MH/s, but it is 1/10th of that on Windows 10, and I can't figure out why.

If I run dual mining, Decred runs at full speed, ETH at around 2.5MH/s.
When I turn off Decred and run ETH only, same thing... 2.5MH/s.

EDIT:
So, interestingly when I updated to the latest drivers it worked first time, getting around 25-26MH/s per card. The recommended drivers operate at around 1/10th of that.

So it's normal to see drop in hash rate since last night?
The bunch of such stupid questions we will see every dag change for a long time ))))
And we see bunch of morons like you trying to be smart ass everyday...
Yes, because this thread is a mess. People who are looking for a tiny piece of valuable information have to go through piles of irrelevant trash and no wonder frustration bursts out...
I would suggest to create a separate thread for ETH GPU mining in general where general questions like DAG belong to.

@Claymore - could You please fix this annoying bug: when miner can not connect to the pool (lets say it's Internet provider technical break), after several minutes (sometimes seconds) it simply crashes whole PC. If You need more info, (debug logs or something) let me know.
I had experienced the same with previous versions

Hello,
I am using Ethos and would like to run claymore with 6 gpu
hope someone could point me in the right direction here (please !)
You have to believe me here when i say that i have tried absolutley everything
i have read here but i just cannot get 6 gpu working with this motherboard.
With Claymore each gpu is at least 2 mh/s faster
With ethminer i can run 5 stable(3 days)
with both sgminer and claymore's the 6 gpu will start up and hash at 27 or so and the cut down to 4
after 1 or 2 minutes.
With sgminer it also does me the courtesy of telling me that the 2 gpu are sick then dead.
This can be with any card in any slot,it always changes.
I think somehow that that is the important part ?
All cards and risers work fine and have been checked in different slots, different risers, individually,
in groups and any combination you can think of.
All the info on here i can find i have followed.
So that's 4 gpu with claymore and sgminer,
and 5 with ethminer.
This is my first build and i have really enjoyed it so far,im looking forward to making more hopefully.
but i have now been banging my head against a brick wall for 2 weeks now(starting to make a mess)
Anyway i hope someone here has a clue for me.
Cheers
Provide more information about your setup: makes, models, versions, parameters, screenshots, troubleshooting steps taken...

Don't know what happen, but mine started mining at 2.5. An hour ago it was at 28 (Only have one rx 470)

Already have Windows 10 Creator Update.

Any ideas?

Edit: Restarted Windows, nothing. Restarted Claymore 3 times, started working again. Not sure what the problem was

There was a post from Claymore. Here it is.

"Claymore is hacked by tons of newbies. Attacked by them in PM too. Maybe I need to create another FAQ for newbies, but most of them will not read it.
Just some quick answers to recent questions:

1. If you think that the miner will mine even if you turn off the router, wait a couple of minutes more, it will stop.
2. Place all command line arguments in .BAT file in a single line. Arguments from the second line will be ignored.
3. Use latest version if you have problems with DCR or SIA.
4. I don't have any private versions with +50% speed.
5. I'm a software developer, so I think I cannot help you to build your mining rig properly or provide you with the list of necessary parts, please ask this question here on forum or search here, there are many threads related to hardware.
6. Please read Readme.txt or original post of this thread for command line samples, options description and FAQ.
7. I don't have miners for Tesla, IBM CPUs, Phi or for very old GPUs.
8. Mining on laptops is a bad idea.
9. You will not see full hashrate on pool immediately, you have to wait for 24 hours at least.
10. If miner cannot generate DAG file, check environment variables (see Readme), check if your GPU has 3GB memory at least, and check if you have enough virtual memory (pagefile). If all this does not help, try to install more physical RAM.

And sometimes I see really interesting messages. Recently I got PM from a newbie account, he found the issue with Pascal nonces from the log file. I was impressed."

So we're all going to see a drop in hashrate in the next four hours?
Check your equipment, I have the r9 380 and get with each 23.5 Mhash. Check -ethi , SET options in your configuration file. Remember, in the help file the parameters are from 2 GB video card
I say that when properly configured miner video card, the VA will not lose in the speed of hashing. I had a year and a half ago 23.5 Mches much the same I get today.

What brand & settings are you using on the 380?  I have a few of those in one of my rigs and I've never gotten numbers like that out of them.
