Hi, simple question. Can I run claymore dual mining on a PC with an AMD Card and a nvidia  card running together?

I guess but not sure

Thanks!

yes, you can, add -mport and -di various for each running miner

Claymore,
the problem with ETHMan 3.1 + Dualminer 9.5
If some rig go down, and then after some time goes up, it dosent restore in ETHMan, on screenshot you see that miner restarted and work, i launched web console and it works already 2 minutes, but ETHMan still show "lost ****". Even after 10 minutes ETHMan dosent see rig. So as it was with ETHMan 3.0, I need restart it to see all rigs stats again.

If you included cryptography and https, then maybe here some trouble with ssl? need to update certificate if connection was lost?

Can confirm this, same problem here.
The last update of EthMan improved the 100% lock after a warning, but a rig which was offline and comes back up is not (always?) shown as alive until EthMan is restarted.
Also the batch action is still not retriggered in case of a persisting failure.

have question to Gigabyte GTX 970 WindForce 3X OC owners. I've been trying to max out GPU performance in ethereum mining.
I am using Win10 x64 with 350.12 drivers.
Card is overclocked to 1500/3800 GPU/MEM an gives reasonable 18.6 MH/s.
I also played with NVIDIA SMI and both 347.52 and 347.88 drivers. Win7 has similar statistics.
However it's a little bit off to me that MSI or ASUS GTX970 owners can obtain up to 23 MH/s with similar clock speeds.

Can it be higher?

I spent half a day in attempts to reproduce it, but it works fine for me, weird. If you can 100% reproduce this issue I can prepare debug version with logging and send it to you so I can get more info. PM me if you want to participate.
Retriggering: if a rig was lost, BAT file will be executed. If rig is back again and then again will be lost, BAT will be executed again. What's wrong exactly?

Please read Readme and FAQ in the first post of this thread before asking any questions, probably the answer is already there.

A friend was having this issue, so i went to check and it looks like ethman newest version see the miners and after a while one or more miners just disappear even though the ones that disappeared are still working, tested older version and ethman v2.6 works as it should be.

Hi Claymore! Do you have any plans to improve nvidia kernels in this miner? For example gtx 1070 works stable 30eth + 600sc(samsung memory), 1080 ti 35eth + 1800sc(but memory controller load 75%). This gpu's can more and i think here there place for optimisations. Currently part of nvidia miners extremely fast rising and maybe it become interesting for you  Wink

reported Hashrate decreased evrey New DAG whay ??

I just wrote the reason two posts above...

^ mining the wrong coin, try one with a smaller DAG.

Can you please explain me a little more? i read about DAG but don´t understand the concept.

My card has 3gb Vram, is that the problem?

Your card's memory controller is actually the problem - as the DAG grows, even though it can fit it in its RAM, it gets slower and slower at random access. This does not occur with GCN 2 and newer GPUs.

I have RX 480 8G i think is newtest card

I'm having the same issues, it may our may not see other rigs on the network. When it doesn't see them it usually will not ever pick them back up unless I delete and restart while adding in the rigs again. The previous version does not do this.

i dont see how it cannot work, any thought ?

Hi,

I have a question which is important to me. Why Claymore's Miner does not stop hashing when the network is down? I did a simple test - unplugged Internet plug from my router so there was no Internet connectivity on local network but the miner was still showing the same hash rate and even finding new shares. How is this possible? Worse thing it is also drawing the same amount of electricity when no Internet connection. If my ISP will have some network outages then Claymore's Miner will simply waste the electricity. Is this by default or some config error or something else?

Thanks.

turn OFF the router and test again

Hi Claymore,

I'm running a rig with 6x GTX1070, mining ETH and SIA on a Windows 10 machine.
I keep getting the following error, causing the miner and the machine to crash:
NVML: cannot get current temperature, error 15
NVML: cannot get fan speed, error 15

Error occurs within 5-10 mins of starting the miner. I tried switching the Nvidia drivers to various versions, but nothing helps... What to do?

question for you all.

I have 2 cards, one can only have memory clock of 1900 and other can reach 2050, but no matter how I put the command mmclock 1900,2050 sometimes the order of gpus change and it crashes or sometimes the second card don´t receive the parameters of memory clock core clock and etc.

Any idea people?

Hi Everybody:

As a lot of messages I have seen here, I will start stating that I'm new here and new in mining, I started mining on friday, so far great, I have learnt a lot.

Right now I am mining with only 3 ASUS STRIX RX580 8GB OC, I have reduced the GPU clock in 5% and increased the memory clock speed to 2200 MHz, I have got 27.4 MH/s from 24.5MH/s, all this in AMDs Wattman, I had problems with the Asus Aura Light Effects, it seems it mess with the MH/s fluency, It is off and uninstalled now.

I have read about some widely known power adjustments, I understand the idea is to reduce voltage, so reduce power consumption, and increase memory clock speed, so increase MH/s, I have read too about doing it with AMDs Wattman or MSIs AfterBurner, and about bios flashing.

Knowing many has been able to get 29MH/s and 135 Watts of power from this cards, my questions so far are the following:

- There is need to flash a new bios to get the best performance?, if so, how many MH/s could I get?, or power reduction?.
- If I can get similar improvements with AMDs Wattman, which are the parameters I must use?.

Thank you very much for your support.

If you're still using Windows (which is about as stable as a house of cards during a hurricane), then you can easily undervolt using MSI AB or whatever. Also, only 27.4MH/s? Those can't be Samsung, are they?

thanks for brief grin... needed one.... after the BTC bloodbath last night

27.5mh -- standard 1500 straps -- maybe Elpida memory

possibly SK-Hynix... lucky card this

Use GPUZ to find out memory type

Thx for your answer, I am using Windows, I am not sure if these use Samsung Memory, I am using the Asus Strix RX580 O8G, I ve seen another report with similar results, How can I check about if these are Samsung?.

I have 1070 with 9200mhz mem and no-OC core. From yesturday im facing with WatchDog error. All was good for a week of nonstop mining, after changing a wallet and restarting the miner this error appears and even mem frequency reduction to 9170 not help.
Any idea why does it happen?
