Then, SAVE AS ALL FILES, not as a txt file.  Name it "launch.bat", or any name with a *.bat file ending.  If you save it as a *.txt file, it will not work.  And, the file path has to be as claymore is on YOUR system     --scryptr

Did like that

:loop

C:\CDM-2\EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool etc-eu1.nanopool.org:19999 -ewal 0xb1229de282d6869d2bbf9ccdd50a22b7ec081a34/ps_jb/ -epsw x -dpool stratum+tcp://sia-eu1.nanopool.org:7777 -dwal 94e7da5b2612bbdc6cc3dfb40f2d5f7abaf9deb9cd8316a527a8c422eb1ec5eb36bbd8d194f9/ps_jb/ -dcoin sia -dcri 40

pause

goto loop

.bat file is in the same directory C:\CDM-2

Does not work - because somehow .bat tries to start from c:\windows\system32

not sure why looping is good, once the miner starts, you won't start it again, if anything fails, the miner resets itself so you won't open it again by looping or maybe it opens twice? that would be a fail

here's my bat

Code:
timeout /t 30

setx GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 0
setx GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
setx GPU_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT 100

timeout /t 5

EthDcrMiner64.exe

start miner 30sec after windows loads.

go to config.txt and put this inside

Code:
-epool etc-eu1.nanopool.org:19999
-ewal 0xb1229de282d6869d2bbf9ccdd50a22b7ec081a34/ps_jb
-epsw x
-dpool stratum+tcp://sia-eu1.nanopool.org:7777
-dwal 94e7da5b2612bbdc6cc3dfb40f2d5f7abaf9deb9cd8316a527a8c422eb1ec5eb36bbd8d194f9/ps_jb
-dpsw x
-esm 0
-mode 0
-dcoin sia
-tstop 95
-dcri 40

Thats all you need, don't put the miner's location in the bat, just put the exe's name and the shortcut handles the location.

go to CDM-2, right click the bat, create shortcut. copy shortcut, go to start, programs, startup-> rightclick, open, rightclick paste.

If the miner doesn't work with some pool - let me know its address and port, I'll check it.

Fixed, please confirm:

470 150-160 at the wall, 480 would be about 20w more, and eth only about 20-30w less.  One of my cards I can significantly undervolt to save about 20w, the other, not so much, ASIC quality plays a role here.

v6.2:

- released version for Linux with nvidia support.
- fixed Ethereum solo mining mode.
- added "-cvddc" and "-mvddc" options for adjusting voltages for latest AMD 4xx cards.
- now you can turn on/off cards in runtime with "0"..."9" keys.
- bug fixes.

Please read Readme and FAQ in the first post of this thread before asking any questions, probably the answer is already there.

OP or Readme, "FAQ" section:

- How to mine Decred or Sia ONLY with this Ethereum Dual miner?
No way. It is Ethereum miner with extra bonus coins. To mine extra coins only use other miners.

Please read Readme and FAQ in the first post of this thread before asking any questions, probably the answer is already there.

Are there any significant advantages in using the miner to over/underclock instead of letting WattMan take care of that?

Am I missing something here?

For example, there is no WattMan in Linux.

Ok, but what about in Windows? Are there any advantages?

If you're a casual miner, you could have stock settings for general PC use, and over/under clock/volt settings for mining only.  More options are always a good thing, just be creative and you'll find uses for them.

One I could think of if miner keeps or reapplies the settings at restart after a crash/hang vs wattman where you need to manually redo the settings.

Good point! I never consider that because my rigs are very stable  Grin

Miner uses ADL to access temps/fans (libatiadlxx.so). Make sure you have latest APP SDK. I did not check it for Linux, if you have latest drivers and APP SDK it means that AMD did not support ADL for latest cards in Linux yet. But if miner shows "AMD ADL library not found, temperature management for AMD GPUs disabled." it means that you don't have ADL lib installed.
