Does usb 3.0 pci-e risers requires driver instalation??
My mobo is not finding my video cards after i put on usb pci-e risers

Not, at least in linux, and I think not need it in Windows... Try to check your BIOS for the PCIe conf. and set Gen2...

Here a good link for risers, (http://spacience.blogspot.com.es/2016/03/fix-it-bible-pcie-1x-to-16x-risers-for.html) it's not my page but I found it usefull when I was starting with my rig!

I know that it is not a pool sub - but it is much faster to get an answer here

I mine dual ETC+SC with CDM

My pool is nanopool. I'm getting about two time less estimations on nanopool (ETC and 25% less of SIA) compared with https://www.whattomine.com calculator

My rates are 118MHs - ETC, 2300MHs - SC. Luck is OK

1) Nanopool Estimations
ETC - 1.826 per day
SIA - 4,786.902 per day

2) Calculator
ETC - 3.938171 per day
SIA - 6,420.437005 per day

Is it known issue, smth wrong with their stats or anything else?

No idea, when dual mining ETHF and SIA, you lose about 9-5% of hashpower dual to inefficiencies at poolside, which can't be avoided.

Perhaps, you should consider dual mining ETHF and SIA.

Using "Claymore's Dual Ethereum+Decred_Siacoin AMD GPU Miner v5.1 Beta2", gives marginally higher accepted share averages then the last 2 versions.

No Stratum support for SIA and you should use https://siamining.com/ - even though it is at 3% fees.

And, setting cards to Slow mining mode (1) for dual mining ETHF and SIA tends to give slightly better share averages over 24 hours then Fast (0) or Mix of Fast (0) and Slow (1).

But, this is for Windows 7 64bit, averages may be different on Windows 8 or Windows 10 or Linux.

You'll, just have test it out for yourself.

Hey guys, do you know what http error 22 means ? Sia disconnects and then reconnects, is there something with the pool? My other miner doesn't stop and they both use same router.
I have this in my config
-dpool http://sia-eu1.nanopool.org:9980/miner/header?address="myaddress&rig=rig"

The nanopool estimations are wrong, I am getting something closer to the calculator rate at the moment. I have no idea why nanopool estimations are far from what we are mining with them.

Take the time to calculate your gains for 24h, you will see it's much higher than what Nanopool is estimating for you.

ETH and SIA calculations are pretty much ok, for ETH I was getting best results on Dwarfpool.
For now ETC network is extremely volatile with some pool disconnects, orphans and stales. It will sort out in time for sure.

@ Claymore

How about instead of "new job" show last block number. So if any doubt, i can check if miner is chewing on right job.

Hey,

It probably already been answered, but this pool: https://siamining.com/stratum is now supporting stratum. I tried some config around with the claymore miner.

It is connecting, but I receive a red error message.

Anyways the http is working fine.

Thanks!

the sky is falling on the ETH price -- no thanks to her evil twin ETC (depending on how you look at it)

if only there is a pool that do ETH and ETC at the same but pays miners for both.... hmmm  Cheesy

If I provided you good and useful info or just a smile to your day, consider sending me merit points to further validate this Bitcointalk account ~ useful for future account recovery...

Which ETC pool is best for you? I tried many pools, the rejection is between 15 to 30%. So I gave up.l

The following pool is an excellent pool originally set up for ETH but we are now mining ETC.  I've been on here approximately 24 hours.  Payouts are every 4 hours.  Pool fee is 1%.

http://miningeth.com

EDIT #1:  I use my Poloniex ETC Deposit address as my wallet address for now and it has worked fine.

EDIT #2:  I've earned 46.61832836 ETC over the past 24 hours with 1.44 GH.  Not bad for my first 24 hours there.  I pointed my rigs there at approximately 2:30am CST yesterday.  It is currently 2:47am CST (approximately 24 hours).

EDIT #3:  I'm adding one more rig later today with 6 x RX 480's on an MSI gaming mother board and I have 5 more RX 480's on the way to get up and running by Friday or Saturday.  The goal is 102 RX 480's to go along with the 74 x R9 380's I already have.

When I add my current 11 x RX 480's, that will put us right at 1% of the ETC network hash rate.  We could use more miners if any wish to join.  Keith, is an excellent pool operator.  He knows his shiznit.  Your in good hands with him.

Most all of us at the pool have [Or will be] switching from ethos to awesome miner awesomeminer.com [Which uses Claymore when mining ETH or ETC] to enable us to jump around to whatever alt coin we want to mine, which see: http://awesomeminer.com/guide/awesomeprofit.aspx.  I plan on having all my rigs running awesomeminer by next weekend.

Is it stable and worth in solo mining in the close future? Can I use it on the system I use daily or am advised to run it from a dedicated server instead? I would like to use it with an EVGA GeForce GTX 1080, but if I cannot run it on my daily system, I would use it with a Radeon R9 Nano in a server provided it supports them.

EDIT: I think, I will wait the solution of the below mentioned error messages before usage :/

EDIT2: Alrighty. Support is lively at this one. Thank you!

all you have there is
Suprnova's SiaCoin Pool // Algo: blake2b // Live !

stratum+tcp://sia.suprnova.cc:2786

20% Bonus for every Block !

Use this SGMiner for mining !

..but it does not work with Claymore anymore.. please provide the full string if you can..
thank you

UPDATE: -dpool stratum+tcp://sia.suprnova.cc:2786 -dwal g___o.sia -dpsw x -dcoin sc -dcri 44           -this works in ver 5.1 Beta2 ..atleast I can see the hasrate in CDM, but didnt see any stats at supernova
..in ver. 5.3 does not work
