Hey guys, back to mining a abit after a long time

i'm using windows with a 1070+R9 280. right now both show hashes (i installed both drivers) but only the 1070 is submitting shares...
should i run 2 different bats? cause im running only 1 right now.

also, how do i disable a certain gpu in the config? Thanks

So what happens when you copy the 1500/1700 straps on a GTX1070, will it go over 30 MH/s?

This isn't even the issue though. It would already be done if understanding the binary was all it took.

Sadly it is encrypted, it will not flash a bios which hasn't been properly signed with a public/private key concept. This means that to understand it you first have to decrypt it, modify it, and then have the key to be able to re-encrypt it correctly.

Nothing new, we've got a bypass for an official (signed) rom. They can be flashed with NVFLASH. Many have been cross-flashing other vendor BIOS' since about a month after launch.. It's the inability to (easily) edit the BIOS values and more importantly since the values would be modified the original checksum breaks and the herc cert is no longer valid.. We cannot bypass that check... there is where MOD BIOS' for Pascal died a quick death.

im having an issue with fan speed and temp reporting. i am running on win10/7 64bit with claymore 9.5. in my main pc i have an nvidia card that my 3 monitors are plugged into. i have an amd 7950 that i am mining. why can i not get the fan stats in claymore w/o having a monitor plugged into it? on my other pc i have 2 RX470s where i only have 1 monitor plugged into one of the cards and it gives me the fan stats for both cards.

a if i do plug a monitor into the 7950 i noticed 'snags' in 'processing'. like if im moving my mouse across the screen it will lag or 'snag'. but if i dont have it connected to anything(i cant see the fan speed/temps) i dont get any of those little snags or hiccups. i notice this mostly in my mouse or moving windows. sometimes typing and videos.

i would like to get around this issue somehow but if i cant and just deal with not seeing the fan speed/temps, are those functions like fanmax/min, tt, etc no longer working in claymore?

pls help. i flashed one of my rx 570 4gb. i setted gpu and memory frequencies, correct timing strap and vcore and mcore.
got nice hash rate and good power consumption
what is strange for me is i got very different power usage (measured with gpuz) changing pcie port an my motherboard.
same card moved from my first pcie port (1x) to second pcie (16x but setted to 1x) rise from 75 to 100 watts.
i am on a Z270 chipset using windows 10,

Using Claymore 9.4 I get a hash rate of 27Mh/s

Using Claymore 9.5 I get a hash rate of 21Mh/s

I played around with -dcri and in 9.4 it was using default dcri 30. In the new one that same default 30 causes the hash rate for Eth to drop like a rock. If I put dri to 1 i can get my 27Mh/s back, but my Siacoin mining goes from 250Mh/s to 8Mh/s...

Newbie here , I got a VaporX 280X clocked at 1150/1600 , Using this miner I only get around 10Mh for dual and single eth mining

now claymore only show GPU0 fan speed and temp, not show another GPU.

@congloi: I have the same issue.   let me know if you find the resolution.

it's problem of Remote Desktop connection, Don't using it, try team viewer or other software, You will see all GPU fan speed and temp.

Try with these settings for two (2) HD 7990 cards,


   -tt 30,30,30,30 -mclock 1245,1245,1245,1245 -cclock 1024,1024,1024,1024 -asm 0 -dcri 7 -allpools 1 -allcoins 1



Also mine a coin with a small DAG like MUSIC, UBQ, EXP, et al... you'll get 100MH/s.

ETC and ETH have massive DAGs so don't bother trying to mine them you'll only get half the hash rate. The alternative is to mine Equihash coins like ZEC or according to whattomine.com ZEN.

Hello i am using Claymore's for overclocking , downcloking , temp control and fan control. But some times after i restart the pc the Claymore's doesn;t controll every GPU, its control only GPU0 and not the other. The overclock work for all card but not the temp control and the fan control. But if i made huge number of restart sometime work for every GPU till the next restart.
Here what i use:
-tstop 85 -tt 65 -fanmin 60 -fanmax 100 -cclock 1130 -mclock 2150 -cvddc 850 -mvddc 850
. I try allso the different commands that i found in "readme" nothing help me. Like -di to list all the GPU and than to map them -gmap.
Need help, i don't know what more to use. And i don't want to restart 20-30 times before it work :neutral:

I'm having the same issue. Can't figure out a reliable way of setting the fan speeds/ voltages through Claymore. I must be doing something wrong. Wish there was some fool-proof guide to make these settings take effect.

my 1070s are mining at around 30mh/s
some sites are saying 1060s can mine at around 21mh/s so dual 1060 will be a better buy than a single 1070 right?

got one today from bestbuy (XFX RX 560 4GB) - 11mh/s and it runs hot 80C ... i havent messed with a bios editor for it yet as it is not a recognized card... i tried to do dual mining with it - dcr was like 180 mh/s

When I'm using claymore with argument to overclocking and undervolting, it only applies to the first GPU, all the other GPUs are at default BIOS settings.

Anyone have seen this before?

Switched from ethminer to claymore, but not convinced it's actually working. I'm solo mining against a parity node. While EthMan reports expected MHs rates totaling 240 across multiple miners, I'm seeing these messages across all miners:

     ETH:: No new jobs were received for 15 mins - something wrong with the pool, disconnect.

Hashrate shown in Parity-UI is erratic going up and down between ~80MH/s and 197MH/s.

How do I confirm that I'm actually mining and not just spinning GPUs?

hey guys got 1 question i have 2 gtx 1070 and clocked the memory to 4300hmz in games it runs at 4300mhz but with the miner it only runs at 4100hmz same thing with other miners why is that? if i leave it to defult<4000mhz> then it runs at 3800mhz useing Msi afterburner
