What is this link for? To receive free Byteball or something?
I've been including free bytes for no reason. Only need to claim them. It wasn't specifically for you, but for anyone to click and take. I just withdraw my funds from Cryptopia and they gave me this TX code wcMYoABAPW+OkBymeML2jIgCVLcK9LMnl4vCz6PvzyU= But it says the unit doesn`t exist when I put this code in https://explorer.byteball.org and I haven`t recieved my transaction even though there is a TX code. It`s been days Can someone help me here please? You're going to need to contact them. It's possible they have an issue with their wallet in that they appear to have paid you, but the payment was not broadcasted. So, you will never see it. They will be able to correct the issue for you. It's not anything any of us can do. Does anyone else find it a little ironic that you have potential investors claiming that the price of GBYTE is "too high compared to IOTA"... and current investors claiming that the price of GBYTE is "too low compared to IOTA" Any real investor is going to know they can buy $1 instead of being forced to buy $300 worth. I don't think a real investor ever thinks they are limited or required to put in a certain amount. 1 GB is a billion bytes, unless you're using obscure euro lingo.
Thanks. I probably should be more exact in numbers, but I was trying to simply point out that we do/don't need to make more than (for example) 21million BTC. A person doesn't need to buy a billion satoshis at a time. Here is your link to receive 0.001 GB: https://byteball.org/openapp.html#textcoin?evidence-inquiry-name-grunt-shiver-busy-glad-cause-lecture-material-army-exhibit

Sadly... there is no Aptitude Test required to use the Internet and/or CryptoCurrency Makes me laugh when people are like "GBYTE" should be listed as "MBYTE" so all the crypto-n00b investors think they're getting a good deal by being able to buy a whole one... just buy a smaller chunk then! Thanks not that I need that. But do you know the link does not work? It gives txt wrong or something.
I think you'll find it says "Textcoin already claimed"... ie. someone already claimed the Bytes

I am a still investor and follower of GByte but now I have to say a big THX and respect to Tony, who does a really nice work The E-Mail-Gbyte-Send is a huge feature and brings real value to Gbyte! Keep it up dude

Actually it says something else. Like it is not valid or something.
If it says 'something else' then post the error you see. I remember working for IS and had to put up with people saying.... It gives me some kind of error. I didn't ask what you think it says, I am asking what it actually says. The idiot on the end of the phone says.... Well, it's an error. What kind of fool doesn't understand that I want to know what is says, not what he thinks it says. Ok, rant over. Go to the link and read what it says. Instead of trying to think back or interpret what you think it says, post it. That said, it was claimed. The link tells you it was claimed. I can see the address that claimed it, but I am not going to post (for obvious reasons). Lol, so are the guys who claim to be “experienced” or “experts” happy with the publicity, adoption and price the past few months? I am sure you are the guys who never complain about the price movements or leave slack depressed because they couldn’t take the price action Just because bitcoin did it in 7 years, it doesn’t mean that all others have to go through the same hardships for 7 years and follow everything bitcoin does. Others are building on the platform laid out by BTC. It would be nice if you wouldn’t just laugh off what others are bringing to this thread.

Hi I am new to Byteball and hear because it looks like best of DAG and is actually functional. I am about to try sending through the alternative crypto to byte bot and after I do so I am wondering what is the best way to secure my coins? I see a paper wallet import but dont know how to export private keys or secure it by any other means. Can someone help me while I get myself acquainted?

You could create 2 multisig wallets on 2 different devices with a 1-2 rule. So if you lose one of the 2 devices, the other can still manage your bytes.

No, they go to IOTA instead which is much "cheaper" at only $x.xx.... without caring that it is a coin that has delivered NOTHING of what is suppossed to do. Have anyone seen where is that code that would run on microcontrollers? I have been trying to find sources for Arduino to no avail.... well, in fact, no source for any microcontroller at all. Not even beta, or alpha, or a fucking draft.... NOTHING.
That's because people are idiots. The same idiots don't buy bitcoin because they think they have to invest $13k to get one. Same for the stock market. You don't have to buy a full share of Google. I don't think those are the kind of people that should be buying into crypto anyway. Here is your link to receive 0.003 GB: https://byteball.org/openapp.html#textcoin?multiply-six-cactus-barrel-legal-few-express-gorilla-hotel-ball-extra-glueSorry to nitpick - but can you buy a fraction of a share? You cannot, at least in my country. The smallest unit you can buy is one share. So the fact that virtual currencies are almost infinitesimally divisible is an advantage. Companies come out with bonus shares and share splits to overcome the disadvantage that you cannot buy a fraction of a share. This improves liquidity of those shares. No. The smallest unit you can purchase is 1 byte 1gb = 1million bytes. 1gb = $300 1million bytes = $300 So, how about you send me $0.0000003 and I will send you a byte? Oh wait, you can't send me $0.0000003. The problem is not cryptocurrency. The problem is that your country/world currency is only divisible by 2 decimal places. Same for the stock market. You are NOT required to buy 1 share of Google. You can by $50 worth of a google share. Since people are simple idiots, they say google is too expensive and don't buy any, because in their small heads think they need to buy a $500 share. You don't need to buy a full ounce of gold.... You can buy a quarter ounce or 10th of an ounce, and yet, those same idiots don't buy gold cause they believe they have to buy a $1300 ounce. Here is your link to receive 0.002 GB: https://byteball.org/openapp.html#textcoin?wonder-runway-amateur-release-prevent-taxi-patch-average-gadget-runway-address-enforceAll very true but you must give them what they want. They don't want to pay 250 bucks per gbyte they want to pay 0.25 bucks per megabyte so why not let them have what they want so they dont support competing projects who will give them what they want. I would say let them have mega deal and just do it in bytes its obviously cheaper and better value so why argue with the masses who want it.... let them have what they want will you. Also - remember the paper wallet you sent me for 200 BTC can you resend a piccy with the priv key again.... seemed to misplaced it again. Cheers mate... In all seriousness though you sound like a nice guy... i just bitch slap my ups driver about.. fucking annoying pleb waking me up early to sign stuff. To be super serious though.... let's have vote on the change to megabytes or even bytes ... this isn;t a dictatorship with one person holding all the cards and making all the decisions is it?

Ok but if computer crashes and I lose my phone then im SOL? The idea of having something on paper or usb I can restore from is really appealing to me if Im gonna take a position in a crypto. edit: Im unsure if this difference in extra security available by downloading full desktop client? Also, could someone tell me the current DAG size so I know what to expect?

They are sufficient to recover any bytes that are not stored on a smart-contract.

Is there any reason to keep bitcoins linked for byteball distribution?
I recently moved some stuff around and the transition bot seems to be offline. I couldn't find any plans for the next rounds of distribution yet though, so was wondering if I need to stay on top of this.
The next airdrop is planned in March with a very low ratio (0.1GB for 16 BTC), if BTC and GB price stay the same it won't worth the time spent for linking. An empty linked address is enough to get your blackbytes. Thanks, I know the linked amount has been drastically reduced, but still, free coins are free coins I guess I will wait a bit untill the chat bot is working correctly again.
