Also,
Yeah, as much as I would like to move to PPS, I'm not sure I am prepared to absorb that sort of risk.  To do it right, I'd need about 10,000 BTC to keep in reserve... needless to say, I am not about to give up the Ferrari for that. Smiley  Not saying it's out of the question for the future, but at the moment, I don't want to end up a failed pool due to lack of preparedness.
This.

I don't think we need to move to PPS.. Look at the nice run we had in few hours. I just made a lot more BTC than I would do with PPS.

That may be, but the earnings in the last 24 hours with pretty good luck (almost double typical 24 hour earnings) still haven't made up for the abysmal average on the last 50 blocks, especially in the last week, where your earnings were less than half of what you would have got with PPS.  It should all average out over time, so hopefully our luck streak keeps up long enough to average us lucky again (maybe we don't want that 30-70 GHash that left during the unlucky streak to come back).

You could always offset the PPS risk by proxying miner shares to hoppable pools. With the extra from hopping and a PPS fee, you'd own a Ferrari in no time. You wouldn't even be the first pool to do it.

I'll be happy when the Avg Luck: reaches +55.81%!!! Right?!!?

The pool needs more hashpower?! Like 800~900GHash?!

Best!

I liked it when the pool had about 60 Ghs.  I would get about 0.30BTC when we got a block.
Now I get about 0.04BTC.  But we get more blocks so I'm not sure if it's better or worse.

I know!! But, we will find blocks more frequently...  That's my problem... Sometimes, it takes 19 Hours to find a single block!! This is too bad... More power will mitigate this kind of situation... Don't you think?!

Is there something we can do about invalids?  I know some time ago BTCGuild had a lot of invalids and they were able to lower them significantly somehow.  I know before these last few we were better than average, but I don't know if luck and averages really have to apply to invalids.  For instance, I'm wondering if members couldn't make sure their bitcoin client peers with the pool's bitcoind in order to help propogate the pool's blocks faster.
