How hard would it be to add a minimum $/BTC value for the paypal auto cashout option?  For example, I'd like to set it to $5/BTC.  If BTC value is $5 or above, auto cashout to paypal as normal, but if it drops lower either cashout as BTC or just don't auto cashout at all- either option would be fine.

This would be a nice option to protect from random dips in the market without forcing the user to use only manual cashouts.

Why pay the PayPal fees? Just auto pay BTC to an exchange and have 1000BTC sell order set at $5. It will sell what comes in if the rate is over $5 and keep it as BTC if it is below.

Losing hundreds of Bitcoins with the best scammers in the business - BFL, Avalon, KNC, HashFast.

So, the good news is I found a major sticking point as to why the pool seems to be slow to respond when we find a new block.  I will be re-doing the affected area of the code to hopefully alleviate that soon.  The bad news is... well, there really isn't any.

Thats good to hear man. Good job in finding that and also for your continued efforts on providing a pool that offers so much for its miners. Your service to your miners alone is unmatched anywhere by any other pool operator.

Today i switched from us3 to us2 ... but at the moment i have about 4-5% Rejects [normaly 1%] and  about 2% Stales [normaly 0.7%].
Now i have to point my miners now to the backup pool. Maybe tomorrow the problem is fixed.

cheers

Yeah, i'm not sure what happened there.  The getwork server was just plain locked up, no crash or error... kind of bizaar.  I swear, no problems for weeks or months and the minute I am out of contact for more than an hour or two, BAM.  It's like it lies in wait for me...

Back in the days, when I had a Cyrix '686 cpu, I couldn't leave it's company if I was installing stuff. As long as I was in the room no errors would come up, if I had to go out of the room for just a few mins, I would always come back to an error/bsod.

Thanks for your work Inaba.

Also I would suggest creating a premium membership with support for hardware software, we can discuss more offline maybe. maybe we can talk through email about my idea.

I'm not talking 24/7 type support, maybe just a premium membership that includes detailed guides for different set-ups and maybe a subscriber only message board where inaba provides support to help people with specific issues.

just something like that, instead of all the free help he already gives.

maybe like a monthly fee of $4.99 or you have to set your donation to 3% at least to qualify.

Inaba, did you get around to modifyin the code so it doesnt hang up as much when a block is found? Because, I still get massive pool down errors and rejects up to 4mins of a new round start =(
