So pissed...
Don't worry, I'm pissed too. I was here before launch, had everything prepared but missed the first ~half an hour due to node issues, then the variance of solomining decided to slap me on the face by giving me nothing but orphans so I joined pools just to see them getting DDos'ed one by one and so on... Since launch I basically only stopped to eat and sleep and I only made something like 0.2 BTC from the whole deal, while others with less hashpower made way more. Bah, and I'm back to work tomorrow... day offs well spent. wow :/ I can't say I feel better but this sucks for you ! Variance is a bitch as I said many posts back... I did manage to solo one block on the first 24 hours so I guess I should be somewhat grateful for that What is more worrying is how pool mining is almost not worth it anymore even with 300 mh/s ! oO I guess everyone is jumping on the coin due to the high prices we've seen (and will never see again) when the coin launched.

Managed to get a old GTX 285 hashing with this: cudaminer --algo=keccak -d gtx285 -L128 -i 0 -l F768x8 --no-autotune -o
However it just shows hashes and blocks found, no shares are ever received. Any help would be appreciated.
Are you using the latest version of Cudaminer with the stratum patch? A download link is posted on page 1 of this thread, earlier versions seem to have problems like that. Apart from that someone seems to be ddossing all the pools

When there will be another opportunity to have a first-mover advantage, I might jump at it.
thanks Christian for sharing this advantage! I think there might be such a chance: as i understood one "feature" of maxcoin is to switch the hashing algorithm if this is done, every miner (except max keiser himself) is kicked out of the game and max is solo mining his maxcoin again. i think this was also intended for the "fair" start of the coin - release only a cpu miner and anounce it as gpu safe. i am pretty sure max and his team mined with a gpu miner (or even fpga) from the beginning since this kaccak has no feature to make it gpu or fpga or even asic resistant. -- Dobob

Try missing out the letter entirely and just putting 768x8, or maybe F was right and you have a different issue. Unfortunately autotune doesn't work with keccak yet, but whatever letter it suggests when mining scrypt should be the right one.

Launching with no letter at all leads to the hashing with no shares again but it did say at the top: Geforce gtx285 with compute compatibility 1.3I'll keep messing pretty sure it's my settings. ![Huh](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/huh.gif)

EDIT: Never mind it just connected
failed to connect means you can't connect to them... Actually I haven't been able to connect to 1GH since the ddos attack of yesterday... even though they are running and finding block. The easy way to find if they are running is to check their webpage and see if they are discovering blocks or not...
