No cores out and very low hw errors, what is your hashrate at the pool? Maybe just leave it alone.

Avenger... I love you too....sweetie.... I sense a bit of jealousy and resentment. Fact is... those who got KNC Equipment did well, and continue to do so. You should have got one... admit it. Your bashing is like a fart in the wind.... insignificant. Guess you can't tell us where the asic deals recommended by Avenger are?
Not completely true, not due to KNC at least. IF BTC were at the levels we all imagined now (100 to 300 range?) how well would everyone be doing? You wouldn't have had a fucking prayer of selling rigs for what you have, the people who paid for rigs with any method wouldn't be breathing a sigh of relief at breaking even and being in the black...much like the people who paid with 70k worth of BTC aren't. A KNC rig wouldn't be worth anothing like what they go for now if the price of BTC wasn't where it is..and that has nothing to do with KNC. They did deliver a better product than we paid for, faster by some margin. It was late, in my case 2 weeks late despite claims they were able to stay on schedule and eeven that they had shipped when they hadn't, a delay at the crucial time when it would have mined best. A great many things which are basic and simple were fucked up costing customers time and money...plastic left in units under heatsinks for example. Avenger is right in that they were test units cobbled together by a workforce that wasn't enough for the task. No mention was ever made of Nov orders being so much faster either. My rig has had one problem, it was delivered 2 weeks past the time it should have been, otherwise it's been exceptional. Not touched it at all except a couple of updates. I know I was lucky though, others weren't. Hosted people got shafted for weeks. Lost a lot of hashing. No-one to support them, which was what they paid for, a working miner working 24/7 thanks to that support. Saying that KNC are awesome because they are better than other crap companies isn't logical or fair. They are better and the obvious choice in a risky game, but they are a long way from as good as they could be with just a small effort. They fail on simple everyday basics of business. All this "we're all falling asleep working long hours" shite..makes me sick. Plan better, get the people in, have a production schedule ready that will work. Then get some kip. One resource that's easy to find is human power, even for short periods, temp contracts. Every business will be using exactly this type of resource right now to fulfill Xmas orders in this busy period. Avenger has valid points, shame he feels the need to get personal and lose the logic. Doesn't stop him being right when he's right though. If you can't accept the bad with the good, how can you make a logical decision about what is best to do now? If this thread only accepts views that are positive and the real negative aspects aren't here, how can anyone new coming here see both sides? +1 This is why you don't get called out often, and he does, even when you say essentially the same thing. I honestly expected them to perform worse, overall, than they appear to have done. I do hope they re introduce the Jupiter, as I can't see any good reason not to. And I want one or two The Neptune is interesting, to say the least, but 13K is a lot. I can almost certainly come up with 5K in a month or so, but 13? Gotta look at alternatives, and I want a KNC miner, dammit.

I bet they never expected this especially after the discounted batch sold so quickly. I think they've overpriced the Neptunes by 30-40%.

I am pretty sure he had an order. I remember during the stressful time waiting for October units some malicious troll said that orsoc is going bankrupt. I think it was him who posted a picture of a guy having a heart attack. So he was pretty stressed at that moment. But maybe he cancelled and requested refund. I don't know.

The same 630-640. Something has definitely happened to make it slow down. It's not a terrible speed, if it doesn't get any worse.

Any ideas if KnC plan to come out with an overclock or "boost" firmware option for us October customers?
It's below 0C outside here and my miners are in my very cold garage. I'm having trouble keeping them warm enough to keep all the dies/vrms online. A nice overclock would go a long way to help with this and help compensate for the btc I lost from my 2 week late shipment, 7 bad boards, and 8-day RMA on 3 of them.

I think it was him who posted a picture of a guy having a heart attack. So he was pretty stressed at that moment. But maybe he cancelled and requested refund. I don't know. Well remembered, I did post that photo and was stressed. I've even posted a picture of my miner a few weeks back. It's more fun for the shills (some of whom already accepted I have a miner, but now changed their minds) to keep up with the line I don't have a miner, e.g. Avenger... Die 0 was addressed with the 0.98.1 beta firmware, and most machines were fixed with it. Other than you, I don't think there are more than a handfull more out there..MAYBE. So to call that the "Biggest issue" is Total Crap. okay we have... 1. Avenger (Assuming he really has a machine)
sorry to interrupt, but Avenger send me pm this afternoon saying thanks for the quota-patch I wrote he had further questions regarding the quota feature of cgminer and how to apply it, would not make sense I guess in case he would not have a device and the patch applied on his web-interface
thanks... I'm pretty sure he has one anyway, just tryin to get the chap to "let go the hate", and take advantage of his offer, this is getting silly. Fickle much Phoenix1969? If bumcoinobama says anything, you seem to swallow it whole. I'm sure I posted a picture of something similar here the other day? P.S. I'm EXTREMELY HAPPY KNC made millions from our preorders, because I have a vested interest into seeing them succeed!
Let's see. If you had some miners hashing, which you do, you would actually have a vested interest in knc going bust, as it means your miner would earn more BTC if kfc didn't ship any more hashing power. So what is your vested interest? You are a major cheerleader, I guess you are one of those guys who gets preferential treatment from knc. I was only guessing by phoenix's change in tone that he got something extra from KNC to sweeten him up. Edgar has since got him to reveal he got free boards from knc (something else he is now trying to backtrack from ). His behaviour is becoming almost identical to the official forum shill who has been in hiding for the last week, even though he logs in all the time. Quite a joke outfit overall. But it seems no amount of talk will change some people's mind. They say Q1/Q2 and people are thinking they will take delivery in March? The self-delusion and shillery on this forum is off the chart. Meanwhile, once again, I'm trying to warm up dies on the garbage knc sent me to get them to come on.

Nope. I believe the secret is in the Ericsson VRMs in the Nov batch. The October batch is handicapped by the GE (?) VRMs.

I've asked if they'd exchange my die #0 issue boards with Nov type ones as RMA, I received a clear "No", only Oct type boards (hopefully good ones). Been told I'll receive a shipping label from UPS, didn't receive it... yet.
"We will only be able to re-place your boards with October batch boards."
