Edgar, either you are full of shit or you are completely incompetent at communication. I've sent five different emails to knc, they were all responded to within a day or two. There are other member posting their good rma experiences in this thread. Yeah, I'm glad all my machines work perfectly and I haven't had to deal with any returns, but I don't see any evidence that they wouldn't take care of the problems if I did.

Avenger, are you seriously still defending companies that have shipped nothing yet, claiming they are better at doing this than knc because knc was a few days out of their time estimate? What's your goal here? Are you just looking for something to rage about online? Hashfast puts all four of their chips on a single board instead of kncs four independent boards with their own cooling systems? In that case 500gh/s is not better than 670gh/s. Hf still has a gigantic case for their stupid bj, because they now have a single massive point of failure that needs to be cooled. If you have a problem on one chip, you're done.

For the speeds advertised with the Neptune and the comment that it will be based on the Jupiter design, I believe it will be four modules of four 20nm chips on each sub board. At this rate, knc may be shipping neptunes while hashfast is still catching up on their early orders for bjs.

I also had a rma request denied for the units I managed .
One board with over 25 dead cores no rma for this defect .
So this is the way knc manages the faulty boards .
If they are not 100% burned or if more than half of the chip is dead no rma .

All,
Our first round Neptune products has now sold out.
We will be working with all of our suppliers to arrange another round of components so please keep an eye on our shop for future shipments of Neptune.
As it looks like our struggling competition may eventually ship before our Network protection period has finished, we may be in a position to release Jupiter’s and possibly upgrade cards which we will ship from stock.
If we do have more items to place in the shop for our 28nm range, we will announce this via one of our newsletters which will contain the time and date that they will go on sale. So keep some coins handy as we expect them to go quick.

The network protection promise only covers Dec/Jan/Feb, it doesn't cover the November Jupiters and upgrade boards.

Please note, this was posted on the 18th September 2013, and even then they knew they would be launching their new generation around March 2014
