The first rigs indeed did not make $70,000 and I'll keep that opinion until someone can proove it. I don't see how it is possible. Yea, Bitcoin did reach $1k but it certainly didn't stay there.
IF someone who got the first Jupiter, mined with no issues, sold their ~45btc @$1150 then sold their miner for 18btc (and sold right away) then they made over $70k (less price of miner) doubt anyone did that

IF someone who got the first Jupiter, mined with no issues, sold their ~45btc @$1150 then sold their miner for 18btc (and sold right away) then they made over $70k (less price of miner) doubt anyone did that Or sold the miner at $25,000 or more. It really isn't out the realm of possibility, just takes a quick decision or two. I know people did it, I know one for sure. Opentoe claiming that it is impossible is nonsense, and calling someone a liar because of it is even worse. He's just jealous that he only got a saturn and didn't buy a bunch of jupiters. Probably didn't sell the thing either.

With all of this hash-power coming online -- when are we going to get an update on Neptune?
We are only 13 days into Q1. My son, you have a much longer wait. Months. My friends and I bought a large order of ASIC boards/chips and finally everything is built. I'm going from 555Gh/sec to 5Th/sec. And since the electricity is all on a generator paid for by the building owners they could care less filling that thing with diesel everyday. The party starts now! Since I really won't need my Saturn/Jupiter anymore maybe I'll auction it off. Fine running machine.

on another note... Good thing no miners here ATM... My new 200 amp service line took a direct lightning strike last night It blew every breaker in the house, both live phases It exploded a 20 amp power strip, blew my desktop, microwave, and left a 3 inch long exploded hole in the new conduit. It struck on the portion of the line we had not been able to bury yet. The mains are literally in pieces. After calling the power company, they come and find that my transformer is also blown. They patched me into a local transformer down the street a bit, but only one phase is still working with a huge exposed/blackened hole in the conduit for now until I can fix this mess. oh boy. So far I was able to get a set of dual 100amp switches for the mains and a microwave oven (Gotta warm that coffee) to get going Installing all new 2-2-2 in conduit is gonna be fun I have no way of splicing the hit portion of the service line do I? crap sorry to hear of your problems......no I think you are out of luck....on the splice that is....ask by all means of the power company util guys have not problem with it you are probably ok.....(probably still not up to code but....) anyway not sure what to do .....have more ground rods ?.....get one of them 'whole house lighting strike surge protectors for 300 bucks?.....stuff like that? We are only 13 days into Q1. My son, you have a much longer wait. Months. And 1.5 months since Neptune was announced, oh great genius of all that is bitcoin. It's time for a technical update, or people are going to start pulling orders.

I'm not going to pull my order in fact I will probably order another, but I must agree a technical update would be the way to go before the end of january.

Hi,
I am using Oct Jupiter with 0.99.1-tune firmware. After I pressed "Reset factory settings" on Advanced tab, I can no longer access Advanced tab at all. Instead I have browser message with "Fetch advanced configuration/status failed." and "OK" button. Restarting, flashing to earlier firmware and flashing back to 0.99.1-tune does not resolved the issue. Jupiter itself is mining away nicely, but I can't access Advanced tab anymore. Any one had similar problem?

KNC Technical Update: As you can tell by our silence, we are presently still working on Neptune chip design. If it all goes well and we manage to finish it by the end of January, we might be able to deliver neptune by April 2014 (Q2). There or there abouts. If it isn't finished by start of February (i.e. in time for 2 weeks of new year holidays in China), we will not be answering any phonecalls/emails until June 2014. We will, however, be offering Bitcoinorama as a human sacrifice to angry customers. Just no refunds.

The first rigs indeed did not make $70,000 and I'll keep that opinion until someone can proove it. I don't see how it is possible. Yea, Bitcoin did reach $1k but it certainly didn't stay there.
IF someone who got the first Jupiter, mined with no issues, sold their ~45btc @$1150 then sold their miner for 18btc (and sold right away) then they made over $70k (less price of miner) doubt anyone did that Why? only a few trades... and much better is possible too. BTC hit over a grand several times..... I even made $ on accident transferring to/from banks could have easily been different tho example... withdrew 3900 a few weeks ago when the price was over 1200 to buy a car which I resold because the price had dropped to around 800 again.... Bitstamp's amazing 18 hour international Bank transfer helped. 3.2 coin turned into 5 With any amount of "luck" or skill... 35 coin could easily become 100k.... or you could easily end up broke too... name of the game btw.. 10.57% 12d 4hr 35m 7s whew... yup. forgot about that and.... on refunds.... Kurt (kncminer) Jan 13 16:06 Hi, This refund was initiated in the new year after the holiday period had finished, which is why there is some delay. I have confirmed that the payment has left our account and is on its way to you. You should see this very soon. Thanks for your patience in this matter. Med vänlig hälsning | Best regards Kurt Radcliffe Kncminer SWEET... was answered in about 10 mins also, at 5am here. P.S. China.... Up to no good again lol This could also work to our advantage!
