so they had as last as can delivery of their nepture or hosting
because if they do it
as fast as they can
they will lose a lots of money from their hosting center

and becasue they did not make titan data center
promotion a lot the titan miner

to make with our money their titan data canter

is that a haiku?

On April 11 I cancelled our most recent order from kncminer.  On April 24 I received a "refund" that is short of the correct amount by more than $6,000 USD. I've gone round and round with support staff about this, and the final word (from Sam) is that they have no intention of paying me one cent more.

Sorry to pile on to this, but I thought it best to let you all know.

Serious? How can there be such mathematical error and they don't see it? This is hard to understand.

The error is the guy is claiming the 'favorable' side of the exchange rate on both ends of his transaction.  KnC pays/receives in $ at all times.  It is easy to 'imagine' they owe you the more favorable denomination.  KnC should quit selling to idiots to avoid these kinds of problems.

I wonder why the majority of bitcoin miner producing companies are doing almost exactly the same:
First BFL and hashfast, now presumably cointerra and KnC
http://www.coindesk.com/cointerra-tackles-backlog-200-refund-requests-complaints-mount/

Do they think people have short memories or what?

You know what all of these companies have in common?  They all operated on pre-orders and tried to design/fab/build these high-output multi-die single-'chip' ASICS.  Who hasn't shit the bed?  All of the people shipping from stock using arrays of smaller chips to reach high hash rates.

OK, maybe somebody already asked this question. I'm just wondering if I need to request order cancellation and refund.

Is it Neptune (2nd batch) still profitable if it comes out in next new weeks?

depends on in how many weeks and machine parameters.
If it will be July 1 and 6 Th/s-awesome, if it is Aug 1 and 6th/s-meh because Spond will probably have 6th in July.
If it is July 1 and 4.5-th -good, but overpriced at $13K, could be OK at $10K.

Thanks. Mine: 3TH, $10K. I guess it will be risky, let alone by that time, there are lots of Neptune around (mine in the second batch, even worse.)

even if it says 3th, it is entirely possible that they will deliver 4.5th instead; some profitability calculators already assuming this-I wonder why?  Wink
also, because of cancellations, I would think that what was formerly batch 2 will be close to batches 0 and 1. i estimate that at least 50% of all orders were either cancelled or changed to superjupiters and Titans.

Thank you jelin1984!

All, listen closely at 05:00
the only reason they do not mine ALL the bitcoins is "it would kill the network (=their profits)", nothing else..how about the core idea of bitcoin ? do they even know it ??

then Sam's comparison to soccer balls and dreaming of a soccer ball manufacturer monopole Roll Eyes omg

some people are used to make their own soccer balls (for ex kids in 3rd world countries) and they have fun as well when playing..he really compares spare time fun based on low level skillz with running cutting edge hardware 24/7 - too many Amsterdam visits, now reception of reality is totally blurred I guess

suddenly they cut in Marcus at 05:30 making it look like as he confirms that crap Sam just said, but I'm sure the second before he was talking about something else than a soccer monopole - manipulative crap!
as next Sam is cut in again continuing at 05:45 his dreams of fighting for a monopole in the long run

look very closely onto his eyes at 05:56-06:00 when he states "we wanna support the community"....and you know it's a bloody lie!
everything after 06:00 can be skipped as it is advertisement

*edit:
at 3:44 Sam says that their customers are "mostly private individuals" - you remember B2B, only?

This video decreased their damaged credibility in my eyes even further.

Hilarious isn't it? Sam can't even look at the camera when he says that. He turns away in shame, as he knows their mission is to fuck their customers for all the money they can get out of them. How long have I been saying this??

They don't support bitcoin at all. They refused for months to give refunds in BTC, which means they do not support it. They only like to accept it as a form of payment, as there is no way to do a chargeback or create any kind of payment dispute when they ship faulty goods/delays.

KNC are exploiting the bitcoin network/protocol and it's community for profit. Simple as that.

*edit:
at 3:44 Sam says that their customers are "mostly private individuals" - you remember B2B, only?

It says this video was filmed in October 2013.

As you rightly point out, Sam says their customers are "mostly private individuals", which goes against their own terms and conditions where they state they only sell Business to Business.

It's like the "Let's Talk Bitcoin" interview Sam did last year where he blatantly lies and breaches KNC's T&C's. I was in the process of exposing how Sam lied in that interview and was breaching their company T&C's back in October last year:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=170332.msg3337438;topicseen#msg3337438

So now you know why they kept this video under wraps for almost 8 months - because I was exposing their lies back in mid October last year and they figured it wouldn't be a good idea to put another example of their lies/fraud/misrepresentation out there!

They also are really bad at trying to pretend they are hip and cool. When Andreas says "That's quite cool", he looks like he has a dildo up his ass. He certainly doesn't feel anything about the words he is saying, a sure sign he doesn't mean/beleive what he is saying.

Fuck 'em.

Well I think that EVERYONE that is lurking this thread has already refunded their Neptun order, except shill s1gs3gv who just like to kiss their ass and who I think that he doesn't even have a Neptune pre-ordered, but he likes the ass-licking very much.

Obviously this is an older video. Since KNC is coming right out saying they aren't going to mine for themselves or anything. They certainly know how to lie pretty good. KNC was so successful because of timing. Right when they released their Mars/Saturn/Jupiter rigs BTC was on a huge rise. As sam was sleeping one night he had a dream about advertising another product for lots of money, (a $10-$13k product) and use all that money to start a data center so we can get really rich and no matter what happens down the road, at least we are rich.

And one more...

Requested a refund of my Neptune order yesterday and got a reply today saying it will be processed within 10-15 working days.

Just to update on my previous post there. Got full refund in BTC a couple of days ago.
Original request made April 23rd so that's quite a wait.

Good luck to everyone, whether you decide to stick with it or not.
