Because they don't expect it to give you 24BTC might not even mine 12BTC

Yeah I bought a titan a while back and I am regretting it. I would 100% take a refund if it was possible. I did some searching but mostly the good news about their previous product was shining through at the time plus obviously I was stupid and didn't look hard enough.

obviously a miner would be a better choice but that is not the reality.   Just buy coins and hold.    good luck.

I refunded all 4 of my Neptunes.  the last USD refund executed yesterday.

Time for me to chime in.

I placed an order on Dec. 5th for a Neptune, and paid BTC11.7595 for it. On May 7th, I asked for a BTC refund VIA email, and got a quick reply from KNC stating that they would begin the refund process. I exchanged a few more emails with them between the 7th and the 12th, and on the 13th I was refunded BTC29.2039.

Overall, I could not be happier with my experience. The whole thing was painless, and I made a lot more BTC than I would have by mining with the hardware. I see it as a very high interest loan to KNC.

Congrats.  Good deal
same here but had a CA batch order. 11.6 payed, 22,6 back.

Yup,  same.  did 4 CA units last week in November.  3->BTC and 1->USD->BTC.   More than doubled my BTC and didn't have to rewire my house for 4 crazy neptunes.   Bad enough getting these jupiters back from hosting and having to deal with them.

KNC handled the refunds pretty well considering.

.ps next round of BTC refunds incoming. Peace Wink

Cool, more Neptune miners for me then! Cheesy

i'll check in with you at christmas time and find out how they are   Cheesy

I think you are getting ahead of yourself, June and August are the expected shipping dates! Oh and I should mention again KNC's own words (if anyone actually has paid attention - Minimum 3000GH/s of hashing speed that 3TH Over 5 times the speed of our first Jupiter release (we reserve the right to increase this as we get closer to shipment)"

So you're welcome to back at Christmas time!

Expected by whom?

On July 1st you will be a KNCCloud customer not a Neptune owner.

Last update I got that they still have not received chips .. thats like 3 months after tape-out..
I really have my doubts on the truth of this update and they are probably already implementing their neptunes to the DC.

not possible.

Well whatever happens or is or isn't possible, have they given any indication that they 'hosted hashing power' come June is delayed at all?

i'm sure the cloud mining will occur on time, albeit reluctantly.

And once it does, KNC will be firmly slamming the Neptune refunds door shut. So y'all have 10 days left to bail, then KNC owns your cash  Grin

If anyone is interested I have several "empty" Jupiter boxes with 4-port controllers and fans... PM me (otherwise they're going in the trash, minus the controllers).
