My average is 2.6 TH/s
0.165...  btc/day

Only one of my living cards reach the promised 180 GH/s.
Send KNC diagnostic files, offered them Teamviewer access so that they can see for themselves,
send screenshots of the Advanched page and Putty, send screenshots of the broken parts.
I use 9 PSU's each 600 W. Power and cooling enough.

As longer as I mine, (for 1 week now) as more cards are giving troubles like failed dies.

Still waiting a respond from KNC.

Depends what you consider your ROI to be? day, week, month or year?

If you don't count your electricity costs, some people don't pay for hydro, it could walk away with $9500 in a year. This is based on if the difficulty goes up by 30% each round and the price of bitcoin stays at $482 over the process.

The other option would be to sell your rig and put your money into the stock market and watch is crash, at which point you will be dirt poor without more bitcoins than what you have now.

I'm mining at Eligius.
I placed the mining of the Juptiter on a seperate wallet.

Selling the hardware is not a good option, because I want to be a good seller.
(I'm running also a business)

So I hope that KNC helps me out. Otherwise, I bring the cards back to Sweden in person.
I payed 10K so I want the profit or fun from it.....

Swimming.

I get you are upset with KNC so say your peace and move on. In society people who get upset about something and do nothing but get in other peoples faces who are somewhat or satisfied suffer from some form of mental instability and need to be treated. Are you one those people Joeventura?

I don't mind if this post get yank from this thread but to be honest all your posts fear monger posts should stripped out too, and not just from this thread but all the other threads too, unless Admin believes in allowing unstable people to have free reign of this site.

I agree that KNC should help you out. I am sure they will, I just wish they would be a little more forth coming so that people would understand what's going on instead of making up stories. I suspect though they might have either had a manufacture issue in their own facilities or they decided to outsource it and the company they used did a poor job, either way they should have said something to claim everyone down. Smiley

On a different note I am trying to find out if they are still keeping their words that the speed of the Neptune's may be faster closer to their shipping date; well I think it says something like "they reserve the right to increase the speed the at the time shipping" or something to that affect. Since they do say say that 3TH/s in their recent news update, so I don't know it's confusing to me. LOL

I'm currently discussing this issue with a lawfirm in Sweden. Once I receive their legal opinion, I'll post it here.

First I wait for their solution.

If not, second, I go in person to Sweden to discuss this.

(see my earlier post about visiting in person, are you in Belgium, the Netherlands or Germany? Come on, take some broken KNC cards and your bill and fly with me. I leave from Zaventhem/Brussels)

Third, count me in the lawsuit.

It's called civil discourse and all opinions are welcome in bct. There's an ignore button if you don't like someone, but that's no fun. If you want sunny side up KnC love then go hang out in their forums. PPL are pissed there, too, but they tend to ban and delete posts they don't like. This thread is fairly civil. If you want to see some serious disfunction you should check out a BFL thread. I pity those folks.

Just chill, relax and enjoy the discussion. Smiley

So what happened to that old argument... "ROI is only when you earn your original BTC investment back"? I paid just over 10 BTC not $10,000.

I have 18 working boards from the first batch that hash at ~2.5THs. I also bought 2 extra controllers (PSUs and heatsinks for another ~$2000 invested) so I can run another 12 boards from the second shipment. I'm just waiting for some IDC ribbon cables to be delivered. Hopefully I can cherry-pick enough boards to get another ~2THs.

I haven't done the math but I should be able to get close to a positive ROI at some point in the future. The biggest downside to ROI is the resale value of these fragile hunks of crap. Unless it's a local delivery, I don't see much chance of ever being able to resell them.

eBay. There's a thread on the KNC forum with links. I tried to order them without advice and got the wrong ones. Cost me over a week of hashing time. So be sure to use the links in the thread.
