I remember the picture from the Daily Mail: I know where it is and it's already gone for good! I know the place since I've been there. I found the article too but I am not going to share it. People's name in there

I'm sitting in it now somewhere in international waters. It's seen better days and I'm suffering with a lot of skin fungus due to the moist environs, but nothing beats waking up, pulling a halibut from under the duvet and having sushi for breakfast.

I wouldn't call it technically complete any more but home is home.

It looks like you bought it years ago.

You have to pay a great deal for patina these days.

See. That's the thing, brother. Some of us are simply OK with the bantz. I'm not about to take a picture of my garage and potentially blow my OpSec just to have a dick-measuring contest with some rando on the WO thread trying to flex his cock.

I couldn't care less if people believe anything I say or not - that's kinda the point - but when you start bringing meatspace visuals into the thread - especially ones that blow your OpSec due to hubris, I would recommend introspection and caution.

People are starting to become kidnapping targets due to their crypto-holdings. Don't make yourself an obvious target.

Nah. It's time to flaunt it, baby.

This is what I'm rolling around on these days thanks to my mad gainz.

The seat at the back is for the bucket what I spit in.

We are nearing the daily high of $7450 again. Breakout?

The daily high is now very close to $7500. Bullish?

haha good one and thru they have no power over my BTC

but their lawyers regiments are preparing schemes with the support of corrupt judges and politicians to legally rob you, they deserve it, they are the upper class, the one who can get out of jail #freecorzine ! #whereissethrich.

This is (correction: was) JP Morgan's Blockchain Chief Executive.

Try not to laugh.

This waifish millennial couldn't "blockchain" her way out of a paper bag.

No wonder JP Morgan is going nowhere with crypto and blockchain.

why should they care? they just have to beg the nyc fed for bail outs to keep their yachts, mansion and helipads... why would they do anything? they just have to pretend, it gives them time over their girlz...

We are at war for our freedom, freedom is never given upon us since we must learn to take it for ourselves!
Long live bitcoiners

All hail!

death to our enemies and their families ! once they are killed and buried or ashed, then they will let us free. there is no others path. they had centuries to evolve, they didn't. expired, now they are.

How much did it set you back? Did you pay in bitcoin?

More than you ever dreamed. And yes.

It looks like you bought it years ago.

One dollars worth of stuff bought years ago with bitcoin cost 100x more since the rally. If you paid $10 in bitcoin for a bike years ago the bike's now cost you $1000!

wrong because through this trade you increase bitcoin usability. so this trade is 1000x time more valuable than any monetary fiat or crypto ammount. it's the price of liberty, being able to trade with anyone.

It would be nice to see some actual volume accompany this rise.

When FOMO?

edit:

We're up 16% in the last couple days. How's that comparing with Wall St?

And I may be rich, but I still like a deal. This is my new crib, it was a bargain, and I don't care if you find out where it is.

Because it will have moved by then.

Fascinating. I've always wondered how seasteads were launched.

 Grin

He should make sure he gets that seastead insured in case something happens to it.

Yeah, better insure it right now than cry later.

Is there any update on that 1m Bitcorn lawsuit or did I just imagine that in the first place?
We’ll have to wait for the case itself to test the validity of any party’s claims, however. The next stage in proceedings is expected to be a response from Wright’s legal team by April 16, 2018.

Thanks for that link. Let's hope he'll get exposed for the fraud that he is in court.

The sellwalls at 7,5k are really strong.

For instance: I don't understand why someone would put up a sell order of 100 BTC at exactly 7,5k just to hold the price down.

Does he realize that also his own coins will not rise in value if he keeps the price down?

There's a first rule of bitcoin, which is to talk about bitcoin, but don't talk about your qty of bitcoin.

I have not heard of it before, probably I've been hibernating when it was mentioned first. It makes sense, however...

It is a theme that has been repeated in this thread to a decent degree through the years, and comes from fight club...  Wink

On the interwebs, you can get away with revealing a bit more about your BTC (or crypto or fiat) holdings, without punishment, unless you are hacked, of course.

In the real world, you may be punished more if you reveal too many of those kinds of financial holding(s) details.

By the way, I have a location in which I have several computers running bitcoin tickers from various angles (usually it is windows of bitcoinity.org and bitcoinwisdom.com), and sometimes if I have a visitor, the computer display triggers us to begin to talk about bitcoin.  Most visitors will not ask too many personal details about my holdings, but some folks will come out with direct questions, like "how many bitcoins do you have?".. hahahahhahahaha...

When I first got those kinds of personal financial questions, I stumbled a bit or I might have said something that was somewhat responsive, but later I realized that I needed a better and less disclosing response.  These days, I ultimately tell them how ridiculous is their question, and depending on the audience, the way that I say it will vary; however, almost all of them seem to understand that their question was not appropriate.  My most frequently recent response will be to ask them how much gold they have or how much money is in their checking account, and from my counter-question the vast majority will realize the inappropriateness of their question.  There are a few folks who do not get it, and most of them do not have any money in their checking account, so they are not sensitive to revealing their lack of money.    Go figure?  So probably, the more money (in this case bitcoins) you accumulate, the more prudent it will be to convolute your answers, if any, to those kinds of inquiries.

Bitcoin market will always be a little chaotic, because of the unknown.
For instance any drug dealer, who did tor market business during 2010-13 and got imprisoned for that, will probably have loads of coins left in cold wallets, waiting to be dumped. Autistic people, who live in their parents basements and have no conception of wealth, could now be bitcoin whales with a lot of weight on the market. That is why things don't often make logical sense here. Lots of people out there who are inexperienced in dealing with wealth.

As a sardine you have a number of advantages:

1.   You are agile.  If you pick your exchange carefully, you should not have to worry too much about slippage so you can enter and exit positions quickly.

2.  You have the luxury of choice of battlegrounds.  Only enter when devise a strategy that sees you win no matter which way the market goes.

3.  You have the luxury of time. If you don’t like your position, wait
