Don't panic.
S2F model still in play.

[..] Nobody actually needs Bitcoin for anything since it's a fake commodity and not a resource, so it's not price insensitive.

I guess this are somehow the same arguments as in Paleolithic caves around 40,000 B.C when the first crazies played around with gold flakes - about 35.000 years before the egyptians found finally some use cases for the stupid shiny metal.  Grin

Seriously though, I bought the dip for the third time this year and accumulated more. I expect more dipping w 9k rekkt and I will continue to accumulate all the way down in the event we make it to 7k, 6k, and even 5k if that somehow happens.

This is Bitcoin so we know its all possible. Whatever happens in the next 90 days will Im sure be the last great chance for cheap coins for several years so wipe your tears, refrain from attacking people that were or are short term bearish and instead focus your efforts on backing up the truck and filling those bags boyz.

(depressed Fatty cunt tard alter ego eating away the Big Blocker Blues pic)

Just make sure there's any dip to dip in or you'll run out of chicken when the real dip comes.

Ahhh Fatty lecturing on the discipline of dip buying but cant help but making a food eating metaphor I see Wink

Thanks for the concern. I bought with everything I owned the real dip in 2014 and 15 and still hold the vast majority of those coins, buying dips now is a petty sideshow to kill time at this point, Im over 95 percent net worth in King Bitcoin. Big blockers never tricked me out of my riches and into shitcoins Cheesy

Why are you calling me fatty, asswipe?

I haven't talked to you before. Nor have I been talking about alts lately.

The only one bitching about big blocks anymore is JJG and he's on ignore.

Are you retarded(I mean beyond the typical big block shitcoin delusions)? You talked to me right here in this quote above. Thought you had thicker skin fatty.

Ill call a dim-witted cunt like you whatever I want whenever I want as often as I want so you can eat a few twinkies to feel better if need be Cheesy You still bitch about big blocks, no sense in lying about it. JJG has never been a big blocker.

Dude. You gotta stop just posting random bitcoin-related tweets in hope of picking up a few merits. The picture is basically an advertisement for bitcoin.com, which is rather ironically anti-bitcoin and pro-Bitcoin Cash (altcoin). I think you're probably a good person who wants to learn but you're gonna get in even more trouble if you continue just blindly posting tweets here.

If that's the case, then it's complete shit and doesn't make any sense. Because if you lose it, then you lose your gold and your bitcoin.

Or maybe it serves as a collectible.

It's perfect for home invasions. Leave it empty and they either think they have the bitcoins and leave or you can use it for twatting them.

P.S. I know this looks like hopium especially to the daily traders, but this increase is only 10x from 14K this year. There were much bigger increases even for one year, not to mention for 3 years. The only question is when 100K, not if!

$40k-$135k is a good range. Don't listen to people screaming about hopium.

Anyone can print the logo of bitcoin into a gold bar and can sell it so yes its available.

But this is not the physical bitcoin and it could never be.

https://www.coindesk.com/10-physical-bitcoins-good-bad-ugly This link will help to learn about the physical bitcoin.

When one is in the catbird seat, the difference between the end of the world and 'it doesn't matter' is merely academic.

Well hopefully you are referring to you BTC investment rather than bcash or various varients of bcash, which are both likely to perform less well than bitcoin.

[...]

some may have pre fork btc sitting around. so by default, it doesnt really matter as one has all versions since anyway.

HODL has many advantages for the lazy.

China bans BTC for the 20.000th time....  Grin Grin Grin

"Trading and possessing cryptocurrencies is illegal in China as part of broader currency controls, but crypto use is prevalent on the black market."

That's at least one piece of complete and utter bilge from that article so who knows whether any of the rest of it is true?

I do not think this paints a correct image of the situation in China. My current information is that private persons are still allowed to hold and OTC trade cryptos, though exchanges are banned and banks are not allowed to deal with crypto by any means. The wikipedia page sums this up better:

Financial institutions are not allowed to facilitate bitcoin transactions.[13] Regulation prohibits financial firms holding or trading cryptocurrencies.[8]:China On 5 December 2013, People's Bank of China (PBOC) made its first step in regulating bitcoin by prohibiting financial institutions from handling bitcoin transactions.[69]

On 1 April 2014 PBOC ordered commercial banks and payment companies to close bitcoin trading accounts in two weeks.[70]

Cryptocurrency exchanges or trading platforms were effectively banned by regulation in September 2017 with 173 platforms closed down by July 2018.[71]

In early 2018 the People's Bank of China announced the State Administration of Foreign Exchange led by Pan Gongsheng would crack down on bitcoin mining.[72][73] Many bitcoin mines in China had stopped operating by January 2018.[71]

OTOH not being able to cash out in a safe way probably acts like an outright ban for most small fish.

Good solid volume on the volume oscillator (bottom bar).  This is a potential capitulation event to seal off the baby bull and move to adolescent bull.  Would like to see volume higher still though.  You want the volume candle to look like a giant fuck off finger and we aren’t there yet.

Excellent point, once we hit bottom here (6-7k???), the bull will have entered adolescence. We all know what puberty brings, lots of testosterone which means mega pumps, all time highs, awesome dips along the way, but lots of pamping, pamping, and pamping. Cant wait to get this over with and start a new era in this bull cycle Cheesy

About Risk Adjusted Returns
Risk adjusted returns is defined as the ROI / Risk. Where risk is calculated as the changeability (volatility) of ROI. This is officially known as the Sharpe Ratio.

In this chart I`ve used a 4 year HODL period to run the Sharpe Ratio calculation, this seems a sensible choice as it is sufficient time to cover a full bear to bull cycle.

Data Source
Data for macro markets is from the US Federal Reserve. Bitcoin price data is from Blockchain.com
