Does anyone know of a p2pool node in Iceland?

Is the percent of orphan/dead shares "lost" between the miner and the pool or between the pool and the network?

Ive got 2,5% orphan rate last week http://p2pool.servebeer.com:9332/static/graphs.html?Week
4% last month no deads in the graphic - its so low dead rate Wink

Located in Finland

Thanks, i know.

So far i am only looking for a pool in Iceland (and want to get to know to the bottom of highest efficiency).
Yours has the lowest latency from Iceland, raskul.

Dead/Orphan shares might also be reduced by peering with more other nodes?
Maybe it is just a stroke of bad luck and the pool hit many bad shares.

I guess there are some out there but not neccesarily public ones.

I'm just looking into VPS in iceland (considering opening one for cerntralcavern)
prices are far from cheap! I'll do some shopping around and let you know.

Use this one
https://manage.edis.at/whmcs/cart.php?gid=17

I think it is even at the same DC my miner is at Wink

Proper website:
http://www.edis.at/en/server/linux-vps-solusvm-openvz/iceland/

5TB traffic should be enough... contracts month to month.
Also 500GB storage and 4 GB ram should be enough.

All for 16.99 € Wink

yup, i'm sure he would. if your miners are in the same d/c i would imagine you should get pretty decent latency!
at that price, I should be able to manage it again 0% fee free.  Wink as ever, everything will be transparent.

1cavern address has been receiving small donations too, this is something i would like to know the origin of, as no-one has emailed or advised that they have donated and its not mined btc as it confirms right away.

I'll need to look into this further.

I think the donation went to everyone who is mining on p2pool.... Somebody just donated to the address and every p2pool user got a payout Smiley

Maybe they are coming from:
http://blisterpool.com/p2pdonate

Buy me a beer: 1mrdfyA1GhKmTPhaSkvyq5DBterQ5m7ZK

Run your own P2Pool with Ubuntu 16.04 LTS and merge mining

There was a donation outside this tool today...I think I saw it too, but it wasn't through here.

On another bright note...someone *did* just donate 1btc!: http://blisterpool.com/p2pdonationstatus/aa0c71b761ac8d417469c45086b6b2f3

It just hit 6 confirmations, so it should come through shortly.

EDIT: 475 miners got some...I think that's everyone (with shares) isn't it? 476 miners according to http://minefast.coincadence.com/p2pool-stats.php, maybe 1 just got one.

So I had some free time and was playing with p2pool.

So here is a list of active P2Pool nodes:
http://pool.nitro.gr/pools.php

And here is a list on the map:
http://pool.nitro.gr/nodesmap.php

Data are updated every hour. At midnight a new scan occurs for new nodes and offline nodes are deleted from the database.

I know I'm no graphics artist - but hey it does the job Tongue

Go on then - do your magic!

What do you need from me? If you basically take the html page as output and edit it - then I can just put it back in php.
