First post here -- but I just popped in to see what the haps was. Good to know that it's just backup pools working as intended and not the world ending.

And my miners are yelling at me saying they having issues with slush also. It's working now but it was long enough that I started losing money already.. I think the payout is whacked ,it's almost inline with my hashrate and if it starts to decay within 30 seconds of getting disco something is wrong...

ouch!
did our pool hash rate increase by nearly 30% overnight?
my estimated payouts are nearly 1/2 what they were yesterday
ghashio is down so 30 PH/s has been spread across backup pools... Word, I was thinking this as well. Seems that pool is back up

I am mining now on cex however seems to still be having some odd troubles, but my hashing continues strong and my payouts have been up (thanks to slush's as back up lol)... Been a long time since I have logged into slushes pool, I miss it.... was cpu and gpu days.....just now getting into physical asics, but cloud mined for nearly a year now on cex. the cex fee's will kill ya lol

Let the pool set the difficulty for your miner, not your software

Have not talk on this thread for a while but Slush's pool is getting luck recently. Me likely.
Pool luck (1 day, 7 days, 30 days): 166%, 136%, 117%

Let the pool set the difficulty for your miner, not your software I think the pool could do a better job of selecting the diff. I have ton more rejects here than I ever did with ghash or others.

Absolutely. On BTCGuild I get a better hash rate when I set difficulty to 1024 than Slush. However, Slush still pays out more so I am staying here.

I was wondering, how to manually withdraw BTC from slush's pool. Will it work, if I just change the auto withdraw amount to the actual amount in the account?
Thanks

You can do it with actual amount -2% as long as its above 0.01 +2%

hi guys, any help or advice would be great, over the last couple of days i know the pool has grown . but for most of the morning i have been hashing with 3 s1 antminers at 535 ghz and i was getting approc 554k-550k and it just went down for the rest of the day to 490k - 495k per block, is this a thing to do with slush pools point systems....thanks

This is normal for a slush pool... I see it happen a lot to my miners. I have no clue where that 10% vanishes too. I stopped caring 6 months ago as my payouts are being paid as if the 10% is not missing. and my projected is always right when the 10% is missing. So I must assume it just a calculation error on slush's part.

Repeating the same rant again, my confirmed reward has been above the threshold for some hours, but payment is not happening. Ticket raised with Slush support.
Payment made. All good now. Thanks Slush Support! Cheers Highly unlikely support did anything for you... If you really get this nuts over late payouts, you should def throw your miners on Eligius for a month... 4+ days of no payouts happening repeatedly will teach you how much to embrace the consistency of payouts here...

Check your S1 log files for more detailed info.
