Sorry to be pedantic:

...
2) Pool hash rate is shrinking proportionally to the network (IE: Network grows 30%, pool only grows 20%) => Lower rate of block finds, you get a smaller reward per block.

I've bolded the one that is most likely given the current mining climate.
...

Your bold'un is still not quite right.

As long as your hash rate increases proprtionally with the pool hash rate, then the no matter what happens with difficulty or network hash rate, your block reward will remain the same. You might find fewer blocks however but your block reward only goes down if you don't match the increases in your pool rate.

I clearly stated at the top of the numbered list "Assuming your hash rate does not grow".

Well, in my argument I used bold, italic, underline and I even threw in a bold underline - so clearly I aced you...

Damn, just thought - I failed to use a bold italic underline strikethrough - that would have totally destroyed him...

And the next will likely be another 25%. The independent miner days are almost over.

For the last 17 minutes the Account page reports that my miners are not connected, but each miner reports that they are submitting shares to Slush.... the overall pool hash rate seems to be dropping too, looks like something is not right in Slush-land....Sad

Remember that the front end (the account page) is separate from the back end (the server which actually doles out and receives the work), so a temporary hiatus in the front end does not mean you aren't actually earning.  It certainly gives me a dose of the heebie-jeebies, though, and of course you cannot tell (from a short break at least) if a wheel really has fallen off.

I agree about the separation of 'back end' and 'front end', and if the miners are reporting hashes being submitted, it can't go into a 'vacuum'... still gives you that doubtful feeling....

That's a 180, Blockchain says we just got one, but Slush does not reflect it? It's the first time I have seen Slusn behind Blockchain. Just a note.

strange, if pool hash 3-3.7 we quickly found blocks, but 5-5.2 hash long time. Someone holds block?
