Slushpool mines like antpool sad!

Sad! I have transactions that need verifying!

503,136   antPool     12.50000000 BTC
503,135   antPool     12.50000000 BTC

Yes, no transactions paid out to miners...completely stupid to mine there.

Hey, is this for real? I assume this is something new, as only antpool used to take the money from transactions. I was just planning to switch to Slush and if they do the same it will be very sad Sad

minus the fee, slush pays out the transaction fees...unlike antpoo which holds all of those transaction fees.

Except when slush creates empty blocks ... then those have no transaction fees Smiley

my wallet 3FAJDtbPc5jtjcucKEcdYqduaTwgZuvjTB

check a different block explorer if the one you are currently using says double spend tx

Others were making the same observation when checking status on blockchain.info while different block explorers showed otherwise

Any time a pool uses an address that has been exposed to an orphan block, they report every freaking address the pool sends out to as possible double spend.

Not an orphaned payout, pools payout from the address that received block rewards, they will continue to mine at the same address for however long they want. Eventually that address is going to end up with an "orphaned block" reward. Unfortunately Blockchain.info doesn't filter/handle these transactions correctly and they aren't the only ones but that is the most common cause that triggers an address to show up with double spend warnings.

Hey Kano, thanks for the dm replies. Can't reply back, because limits lol.

I'll be switching over to Kano as soon as I reach my Slush payout treshold of .01 btc, in hopefully 3 days.

Slush has doubled in hash power, but not in luck (effective hash power)...

I have had the same issue with payout block 503949 which has been marked invalid in Slushpool's own block history and blockchain.info says it is double spend.  The thing is that slush's payout to my miner account is not confirmed due to this while Slush's record says that they have already paid out -- with the link to the transaction which is sitting in that invalid/orphaned block.

What is a typical scenario in which all those small payouts to miners will end up on some future valid/confirmed block? Wouldn't slushpool have to repeat those payments somehow?

I'm also waiting for a payment from the same block...

I contacted Slushpool support a few hours ago and they've already responded with the following ! Hopefully problem will be resolved soon.

Quick response from support !

----

We are aware of this issue. Let me please explain what happened and how we are planning to deal with it.

We are doing priority mining which means that we push our own payout transactions into our own infrastructure. The reason is that we want make sure they will be mined as soon as possible.
Sometimes it happens that we mine orphaned block which is valid block but rejected by the network. This is the reason why you see it as Double spend transaction.
If that happens from time to time , we push the same transaction for priority mining once again, however it seems there is an issue with that right now and our priority mining does not work correctly.
We are fixing it right now and you should be able to see it mined in the next 24-48 hours.

Thank you for mining with us, we really appreciate your patience !
