Regarding bonus deductions, from what I know those affected are players who are at Gold level or lower (reload mode) which only affects monthly bonuses not weekly. Indeed, a few weeks ago we got a lower weekly bonus, but it was confirmed that there was a system error and it was doubled the following week. In the last week my weekly bonus was $11.9 for collecting 2 tickets my VIP level is Gold. I personally think there is no change in the weekly bonus but I don't know if some accounts experience it, just try to confirm through the VIP host there may be further explanation.

If we look at the complaints in the Stake forum, most of the complaints are even coming from Platinum 2-3 players.
It means that your assumption is not really correct that only lower than Gold accounts which are affected.
However I have to say that I do not feel significant deduction but I also have to say that my weekly/monthly bonus is a bit lower than I used to get although my wagering statistic is mostly similar every week or month.
I wont complain now but I think I'll do the same as other who make complaints in the stake forum if I get something which is unusual like $5-10 monthly bonus for Platinum 2-3 users.

Stake hunts multi-account owners as far as I know, that is why many people who have created more than 1 account get low bonuses. Monthly bonuses should consider the base amount per VIP but that rules has been removed months ago. Regarding the weekly bonuses, now they count the house edge factor of the most wagered game. There are no concrete methods to find out which accounts abuse the bonus system, as you explained it is not flawless. Many promotions have been declined on some accounts and the support team has asked for additional KYC verification to let these users claim the promo coupon. Well, they don't disclose information how this system works. The support team has no concrete explanation for why such things happen to some users while other users are not affected from these changes. Maybe it is something related to the account activity but we may never guess it correctly, IMHO.

I think who can stop them is the casino. If they open multiple accounts, which they can "open" it, but if stake follows it close enough, like IP's at least, then they should be able to figure that out. This could cause them to lose their accounts because they did something against the rules. I am not saying lets ban them all and destroy them or something like that, just do not give them any of the wins they get, so it would be fair because if they lose they lose, if they win they do not win.

That alone should be good enough punishment for them and would serve them very well. They will moan and complain about how they lost and nobody froze their account but when they won it was, but that's just what you get when you break the rules.

@seleme I personally believe that Stake detection methods are improving and they’ll continue to improve hence people should voluntarily give up their other accounts and come clean or just stop using them because such actions hurt casinos and we don’t want anything to happen to Stake. I don't think it is possible for forum members or users at Stake.com to detect multi accounts which only can be detected with internal detective tools from Stake.com. I don't imagine how they can detect cheaters if they don't have data from Stake.com users and their bet history, transactions and more data like IP addresses.

Sometimes problems don't always come from others, but from our own mistakes or negligence. For me, it is much more painful when I have to lose credit due to my own mistakes. Well, things like this sometimes make me wonder how can your bonus $0.01 if your wager is $1000 per week obviously this doesn't make any sense, if you play Dice game with a wager of $1000 you will get back 30% of the house edge about $3 and if it is divided into 3 categories rakeback, monthly and weekly and for weekly at least you get $0.5-$1 this calculation may differ based on your VIP level but still $0.01 is not worth it. In your case i suspect there are 2 possibilities you miscalculated the wager or there is a problem with the weekly bonus I mean only on your account and some people while mine is not included, I suggest that you immediately confirm through support.

However, as long the complaints & showing are expressed in a normal way (not accusing stake like false accusations using scam things, etc) nothing wrong at all. If you feel the complaints from other people are really distributed (you can always ignore them). We are still early, and hoping stake can be back again like the old system before is too late (maybe after they gain a lot of feedback from the community, who knows right?). It's strange but sadly people who like to complain, complain about everything. Especially when it comes to free stuff. It isn't either enough, it was distributed wrongly, it stopped or some people without accounts weren't included into it. Either that or there's a big conspiracy behind it without any evidence. But i don't think that people are really complaining about bonuses, it's just an excuse to complain about change. When people are used to something, some of them are so fixated into that, that any kind of change will break them.

I don't really get the expensive healthcare analogy. Imho it doesn't fit in this.

Yeah, that's exactly the point many of those complaining about the bonus doesn't realize, I am yet to reach the VIP status on stake, but even at this, I still get some weekly and monthly bonuses when ever its distributed, though its not always a very big amount like in the hundreds of dollars, but sometimes, it still runs into tens of dollars, and can I tell you what?, there are some weeks and months i always forget to claim those bonuses until they expire.

The slash in the bonuses shouldn't be something that will cause an issue where some users begin to doubt the casino, they never asked for bonuses, stake on their own decided to reward their users through that, but then, i will not so much blame those that are complaining though, they probably have been earning the bonuses very long before now and have gotten so used to it that it has become like something Stake owes them.

I don't think it is free money, we get part of our wager in the form of different bonuses. The weekly is too low for your account considering you have wagered over $2000 and get only $0.01 lol. I don't know, maybe you have more than 1 account on a platform and they reduced bonuses drastically. That last promo you mentioned is not as good as Christmas during December, even drop amounts are almost 50% off without a second monthly bonus.
