Let's hope he is nothing like me because hell would freeze over before I touched that code after reading this.
A) Jeffrey is nothing but another frontman - just like everyone running IXC [and Bitcoin]. B) The powerful monkeys running CEX [and all of Bitcoin] don't give two shits about me, you, hell freezing over or our code update. They have a fixed plan and a [secret] agenda and nobody is gonna stop them. This is why I can double dare them and triple dog dare them and it will have zero effect since they're not gonna be slowed down or stopped by any talking monkey. CEX.IO has done more for IXC than you have ever done. We just need them to perform one critical upgrade. IXC 0.9.3 on their GHash.IO mining pool.

Without their hash power all my efforts would be worth ZERO, so we are in total agreement there. But besides their merge mining, CEX has NEVER done a single thing nor spent a single penny or a single iXcoin for IXC. Regarding the critical code upgrade: They will do it whenever they want to do it [or not] and nothing and no one will alter their preset plan. Just a simple reality check regarding CEX.

There are two exchanges that has most of the IXC trades, that is CEX.IO and Cryptsy. I for one really would like to see the GHASH.IO mining pools upgraded. We need this to add new functionality to IXC.

Does this coin need a foundation? If yes where can we get a new one or at least 50% of a new one?
Just look at Bitcoin foundation for guidance here. They decided to de-emphasize lobbying in favor of development. At this stage of IXC, really what you need is a group of committed developers who can move the technology forward. That starts with having some consistent ability to upgrade the mining pools that control IXC.

So people like Cinnamon, Ahmed, GroundRod, yourself and perhaps HashEngineering and others that for some reason have been avoiding Vlad? From the pragmatic standpoint, we have to be able to upgrade the core of the network in a consistent schedule. That is all we need to ask of CEX.IO. Please allow us to upgrade the network so that IXC can be of higher value for everyone else. BTW, can anyone investigate to see whether Devcoin or Namecoin are able to upgrade their networks?

Speaking as a mining pool operator I'd want to see evidence that 0.9.3 has been tested for merge mining before installing it. I imagine CEX.IO would be the same. I can do the testing myself, and will at some point, but it'd speed things along if the developers have already done this. You don't need to mine a full difficulty block. Just run in a difficulty 1 test network with a difficulty 1 bitcoin test network and see if the merge mining works. If this has already been done can someone confirm?

Does this mean you have joined Team IXC?
I may join soon. I have been experimenting with another coin that is merged mined with Bitcoin and am having some success with the java code. ixcoin can be next on my list. I am using the code from DevCoin and looked at Dogecoin modifications for Aux POW, as it is called. Great! I'll fashion you a nice hat out of some tin foil so they can't read your mind. Thanks, I was continuing my testing and found that this other wallet I am working on is working and I could easily change it to ixCoin at a later time. Still need to finish my testing!

Hello all,
For some reason the login details to ixcoin.org I gave to Vlad2Vlad weren't working anymore. I have updated them and it seems to work now. I look forward to seeing changes to ixcoin.org from Vlad2Vlad. Please contact Vlad2Vlad with your website update contributions. Thanks.
I'm happy to put a bounty up for this or other Ixcoin related developments if that helps.

Interestingly enough, he sent me an answer [today] exactly to that question. Interesting.

Thomas Nasakioto also messaged me today stating that he is not OK with a name change and would prefer to keep iX and IXC.
So that's the end of that debate for now.
Cheers!

I’m shocked, there is obviously more to this whole foundation thing than meets the eye
Uh, more than zippo? You sure? Seems to be playing out as expected to me. Why anyone thinks CEX gives a shit about some worthless coin that doesn't bring in any mining revenue, and is now only a cost base, I have no idea.

Yes, the anonymous group which mined nearly half the Bitcoins on the planet last year are too stupid to understand they're not getting any payout from iXcoin. And I thought I was being harsh with CEX. lol Are you ready for the ETF and $10,000+ BTC this year, Zebedee?

We're talking about iXcoin here (which, btw means I Xtract (bit)Coins, which was Nasakioto's plan from the beginning for the dense). I hope CEX stop merge mining - then there won't be any more blocks on this turd.

Got it in testing atm. Getting a overwrite transaction and a block timestamp issue in testnet atm. Not completely sure if our issues are something to do with testnet (like i had with the diff stuff on testnet) so im going to setup a seperate main-net chain starting from block 0 tomorrow to test
