The Bottlecaps explorer at cap.cryptocoinexplorer.com has been updated to the latest build of CCE 3.5

Changes:

The top 100 balance list has been replaced with the "rich" page. The new rich page displays the top 1000 balances and has an owners field. The owners field is a future update that will allow people to claim an address by verifying ownership with a signed message.

The coin information page now includes the genesis block time-stamp message.

A navigation button has been added to the main CCE home page.

Awesome! And nice as well now HBN and CAP are some sort of united on CCE. I noticed little differences in the top addresses compared to http://cap.blockx.info/richlist/ btw.

Any Idea what that could be? Not important but strange though.

I could not tell you for a couple of reasons:

Their rich list balances are rounded and I do not know how they are rounding.

Their address ledger is not working, in fact most of the site is not operational. (block details, address details, transaction details, searching anything) .

Howdy all!

Dreamwatcher has informed me that the CCE for CAPs will be expiring on September 1st.  We need to raise approx .55 BTC to get another year of hosting.

I am willing to put in .1 myself.  So I would need the community to help with the additional .45.

As a bonus if we can raise that much by the deadline I will also compile a new Windows wallet with the new splash screen from digitalindustry  and the Autosavings gui feature courtesy of PressTab.

Please donate here:

All BTC will be returned if we do not get enough.

Thanks!

Hello,
Could someone please explain to me about the 200% yearly degrading stake, does this mean that the stake will be reduced every so often? How often and how much will it be reduced?
Thanks in advance!

Ps. I think you should post the details on the first page so people understand!

Ps. I think you should post the details on the first page so people understand!

The stake percentage starts degrading when more and more people are staking and is not programmed to decrease on fixed moments in time. This is how it works as far as I understand it now:

The blockchain is programmed to maintain a block time of 1 minute. When a lot of people are staking at the same time, the block time can get under 1 minute and so the stake difficulty is adjusted upwards to make it harder to stake thus getting the block time back to 1 minute.
Since the stake percentage is linked to the stake difficulty, the stake percentage can vary. It doesn't drop fast though.
Check your wallet to see this mechanism at work: click on the arrow-up symbol in the down-right corner and you see what the current PoS diff is and also the PoS percentage. If you check it regularly you'll see it varies a little.

It's too bad there is no website for CAP like HBN has. Maybe we'll have it in the future. Would be a good idea!

Thank you PressF1 that was a perfect answer, i now fully understand and will be buying some soon. You should copy that and paste it on the 1st page of this thread.

That would be helpful. Dreamwatcher said we just need about .39, as he was giving us a special discount, so that would put us right there.

I've added .05, which should leave about .04 for Tranz or someone else.

Very nice, thanks all. I will get in touch with him and make it offical.

I'll work on getting a new compile with the stuff I promised, and maybe a few other things Wink, here for this weekend.

Dropped in another bit of donation.

Cool I do appreciate it. At this point the CCE has been paid for and is good till 2015.

I didn't get a chance to get a new wallet with a few new features and the updated splash screen going yet.  The first beta of hbn took me a bit longer then I anticipated.  But I hope to get to it this week.
