So you are now in the business of risking BTC giving out 12 month loans that 'might' pay back your original value IF you can precisely gauge network hash rate growth over a 12 month period?

See how I edited your post?  I removed all the extra hysteria, ad hominem, and pointless paranoid noise.   Tongue

There's not much left, but it reads much better now.   Wink

I never said I was "in the business of risking BTC giving out 12 month loans."

You have zero basis to assume a financial motive; I may be mining as a hobby, an educational experience, to protect the network for ideological reasons, or for shits and lulz.

Now set up your "in the business" straw man again, so I can keep knocking it down until you get tired of being humiliated.   Cool

Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

The latest projections put my Batch 1 Sierra's 100% BTC ROI at somewhere around 12 months.  I can live with that, especially as USD ROI goes to the moon.   Cool

Did you seriously just type that?  So you are now in the business of risking BTC giving out 12 month loans that 'might' pay back your original value IF you can precisely gauge network hash rate growth over a 12 month period?

Give me a break man.  If anyone actually listens to your obvious shill nonsense they deserve what they get.  You ridicule and belittle EVERY other mining operation except Hashfast and ice drill.  Your game is transparent and getting old.

He sounds like SLOK, yup another BFL comparison.  I had to put him on ignore, his comments and responses are never helpful nor meaningful in any way shape or form.  Looking at the colour of his ignore symbol it's pretty clear a lot of people also have no time for his silly posts.  This thread reads much nicer with him on ignore.

Why are they concerned with 700 boards/day figure? Batch 1 is ~550 jets wasn't it? They need to concentrate on getting one fucking batch out to the people who paid the most $/GH.  Assholes, i swear.

But 700 units a day sounds SOOOOOOOOOOOO fucking awesome, no??

Guess what guys fantastic news, their PSU manufacture can supply 2000 PSU's a day!!!!

Oh that's to please the new March and now soon April batches pre-order customers to spend more money.  They use Adwords so most new customers will not find this thread (until too late) imo.

Alright iCE... seeing as how you are happy with your 12 month payback.  How about we test your sincerity.

I will offer you 2 batch 1 BabyJets for 10 btc less than I paid.  I can prove payment of over 89btc https://blockchain.info/tx/b97e4a16ebf5e7da03a32e0c31fe04de69c29ddde689f2c03f0ccb5c67ae7075 and am willing to sell this pre-order to you for the bargain basement deal of the century of only 79btc.

I'm basically giving you $12,000 USD in the next 12 months according to your math.

Interested?

I might be interested, what's your position in the order queue?

Oh wait, you paid for them with $120 August Bitcoins, not $1200 Nov Bitcoins.

How silly of you to expect August Bitcoins in November, three months after you voluntarily sent them to Bitpay for conversion to fiat.   Roll Eyes

I don't get your objection. He is offering you 79 BTC for 2 batch 1 BabyJets. If you think BabyJets will produce 45 BTC in a year and that makes you happy, it shouldn't matter what month the bitcoins were purchased. You're making 18.6BTC per unit in year 1 and everything else is gravy.

Baby Jets are only 400GH, and you can't rack mount them.

For my purposes, the Sierra is a much denser and therefore better chassis.

I will gladly purchase a rackmount case and install the modules myself before shipment.  No need to put yourself out or waste precious counter space in order to earn that extra $12,000 USD.

I do understand your hesitancy however, as those are perfectly legitimate reasons to pass on my offer. *sigh*

Yes, your demonstrated incompetency w/r/t ASIC hardware and panicked amateur reaction to a perfectly normal/predictable delay certainly are "perfectly legitimate reasons to pass on [your] offer."

Thanks for understanding!   Wink

Why in the suggested requirements for the control unit it is mentioned that we need at least 500GB of hard disk space, and higher is better?
Quote
1G RAM, 500GB or larger disk, at least one USB port, paired with one or more USB hubs
Maybe they will ship when the blockchain will be a few hundreds of GB and we will only be able to solo mine for some reason? (it's the only almost rationale explanation i could come up with)

suggested requirements...! Where did you find this information?

I think for mining several coins at the same time, without any loss of hashpower, no quota. Hosting your own pool P2P?  Huh I Don´t know.

Any idea for what? Mutiple Wallets?

each time you send a transaction don't forget to use a new address, each time you receive one also!

Chips etched with week 48, 2013.  Roll Eyes

I think people would be a lot more understanding  of the delays if HashFast would just stop BSing about having had everything ready for an October release if it hadn't been for those pesky substrates.

Interesting...

Hashfast;
We all saw and got excited by the picture of the packaged chip.   Have you put it on the board?   How did it do?   What tweaks are needed and how long do you think those will take?
Please post some updates.

Thanks
